A couple of questions.
1. I do have surplus btc in the wallet, is it an easy process to do CPFP? Is my blockchain Web wallet capable / can you recommend a rookie guide perhaps? I wouldn't mind getting it confirmed prior to your estimation if it's fairly easy and risk free 

2. You say chances are it'll confirm on Sunday, almost a week from sending point. I'll assume it's your familiarity with current traffic, but what makes you know this?

Side note I'll be checking out the electrum wallet after this pain transaction is sorted.

Very much a BTC noob, using blockchain.com regular web wallet - with no replace by fees options available. I'm aware the fee could be higher, but I've had nil issues for almost a year always paying regular fees as suggessted by the wallet. Every other tx. via this wallet completed in max. 1 hour, regardless of fees.

Tried BTCNitro and viaBTC.com on the hour accelerators to nil effect. viaBTC wants circa $200 for premium paid acceleration, nope lol.

Am i correct in thinking it's just a matter of waiting this out now?

And in future I'll transfer my wallet to bitcoin core to allow for more advanced options, as per the stickies.
