141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 09, 2019, 01:31:35 AM
Probably the worst idea to sell your cheap tokens, at first you should manage better portfolio and protect from such losses. What would you get when you sell your altcoins in 90% loss?

You would get 10% which is better than zero, isn't it?

We cannot predict the future. Maybe BTC is thriving today, but tomorrow it will fall again or tomorrow shitcoin will have a price in the sky. Investing in cryptocurrencies is always dangerous. Someone will lose, some of them will be earned. What do you think ?

Those two events (BTC thriving or falling) don't have the same probability so it's unfair to present it as some sort of equivalency. And if BTC falls then alts most likely will fall too. Stick with the leader.

143  Economy / Gambling / Re: Private Bustadice + Bustabit Script (.6 BTC/600K Bits per Hour) on: November 02, 2019, 12:29:10 PM
It's crazy that there are still people who believe this "free money" stuff. A few years ago it used to be all kinds of cloud mining scams but those have died off. I hope gambling scripts will die off to but as long as there is greedy people they'll find something else to get scammed for.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to avoid amazon price "manipulations" (Black Friday) on: November 02, 2019, 12:15:42 PM
Most of the time when planning to buy something bigger than groceries I check which has a pretty active community and they figure out fake and real deals very quickly. It's also good for checking if the product is worth it. People will tell you right away that this $300 TV is not good for gaming and you should spend $100 more. That's hard to figure out from Amazon reviews which I think are not moderated at all. Often you seen a brand new seller with 100s of fake bought reviews.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to get BAB median? on: November 02, 2019, 11:50:45 AM
Actually, I found an algorithm that makes it possible to earn money, and only this will bring pleasure to the game, but not the loss of the entire deposit, when you bet on 1.1x with crash on 1x.

If you had found an algorithm you'd be rich already, not posting on the forum about it. That's the problem with all these gambling "bots", they don't work but are designed to fool other people. Next you'll be selling your magic algorithm, right?

If you're trying to crate a winning script for bustabit, give it up, it can't work its a luck-based game with a positive house edge meaning you will always inevitably lose. Any streaks that you're observing are based on probabilities meaning they're not predictable but "probable" to happen at some frequency and in the end house always wins. Just play and enjoy the game.

What are you doing, exactly? Becoming a bounty manager? Or screening the bounties somehow? How are you going to ensure the teams are "real"? You write a lot of words but it's unclear what you mean.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost All Winnings and in loss now :'( on: October 28, 2019, 07:40:39 PM
betted all remaining to recover loss

Never yolo a bet unless you can afford to lose it all. The only times I'll ever bet everything is when I have like $50 that was planning to gamble away.

Even better would be to quit while ahead but that's impossible for most people including myself.
150  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I correct with this interpretation of capital gains taxes? on: October 28, 2019, 01:19:07 PM
This is very true. While the US has some favorable capital gains tax rates, citizens in places like Canada, where 50% of the value of any capital gains are taxable, have to pay taxes on virtually every profitable Bitcoin sale no matter how small.

This means half the regular tax rate and there is no difference between short term and long term gains so it's generally more favorable for short term gains than in the US, which taxes short term gains at full rate. Long term gains are more complicated, if I remember well the long term rate can end up lower in Canada in income ranges somewhere between 40000 and 200000 and above 500000 due to differences in tax brackets. Provincial tax rates are often higher than state taxes tho... so the overall difference can vary slightly depending on where you live.

In the US people have to pay taxes on every gain too unless they're in the 0% bracket so not much difference here. Even at 0% they still need to file the 8949 and do the math just to show that they don't owe taxes.

My wallet shows different numbers tho

Of course. The scammer is the one who "multiplies" their bitcoins by scamming from other people. If you could "multiply" without scamming you would do that quietly.
153  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: CryptoPumpMe : Pump your crypto balance on: October 27, 2019, 01:56:20 PM
Maybe your mother is disgusting?

She's not a ponzi scammer tho

Let's stay on topic... you and the OP are disgusting scammers. There are no bitcoin "multipliers" they're all scams as your trust feedback shows.
154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best / Worst experience in crypto on: October 27, 2019, 03:55:33 AM
Best: mining a lot while the mining was good.

Worst: selling a lot while it was cheap. Not selling enough at the peak. Can't complain much tho. Got rid of my alts a while ago and I'm richer (in fiat) that I was 5 years ago and still have some BTCs to "HODL".
155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: delete account on: October 27, 2019, 03:43:47 AM
I'm guessing the OP made a spelling error, meant to make brokerchoices and missed the second "r", that's what it looks based on their e-mail address.

But there is a "brokerchoices" registered in 2018 so if it's not theirs then the OP cant register that anyway.
156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I correct with this interpretation of capital gains taxes? on: October 27, 2019, 03:12:17 AM
I do have the transaction history if I dig through those addresses on the blockchain though so it just depends on what would pass as qualifying paperwork for the IRS. I was worried that the recent changes to some of the crypto tax regulations would effect this but it does not seem to so that's good.

For the tax return you self-declare sale transactions - quantity, sale price, cost basis - see form 8949:

So technically you don't need submit additional paperwork during filing time, just make sure your numbers are accurate tho you'll need proof if you get audited... again talk to a professional about details. For example I've been told by a CPA that IRS auditors at their discretion can accept cost basis proof "reconstructed from alternative sources", which I think means if you have a blockchain tx, a corresponding bank transfer, and historic BTC price at that time - it might be enough.

By the way coinbase has reported everyone to IRS, including closed accounts, so i'd say you should contact coinbase and request them to give you what they gave to IRS about your account(s).
157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I correct with this interpretation of capital gains taxes? on: October 26, 2019, 10:35:48 AM
Ok that helps. So just to be clear both capital gains and income can determine which bracket I fall into? Additionally would these be gains that are realized? So if I have say 100k worth of bitcoin, but only take out 20k worth are my gains based on the total amount of bitcoin I have, or is it just on taxable events?

First, talk to an accountant. Second, yes, to the best of my knowledge only realized gains are taxed. If you sell $20k you pay 15% on the gains you realized from the $20k. For example if you aquired those bitcoins for $12k, you realized a $8k gain, so you'd pay $1200 in taxes. The neat thing is that you can pick and choose "which" bitcoins you're selling. So if you bought some very expensive ones you can say that you sold those and pay less in taxes now (but possible more later).
158  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: {Warning}: Phishing attempt Ledger Nano S/X on: October 26, 2019, 01:14:17 AM
I wonder what the actual danger is? Can the malware somehow bypass the PIN? I don't think so.

When I got my ledger the "apps" kind of worried me but its just an unfortunate name really, those apps are not like phone apps or anything, and cant have backdoors, can they?
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has alt season started? on: October 26, 2019, 01:07:24 AM
Arent you aware on the current news as of today? If not then you should read this up

And as a result Bitcoin is going up and alts are going down relative to Bitcoin, opposite of alt season. I think this is pretty much how it's going to be for the foreseable future. There is not so much money to go around as it was at the end of 2017 and investors are smarter after being burned. Only the major coins are going to see gains, Bitcoin getting 80%+ of the capital and the rest fight for leftovers.

Your Alexa does not display any data because you do not even have a couple of visitors a day on your website.
So many deposits and payouts but no users browsing it... You can now delete my post, but bro you're cheap, you must work harder on your skills.

One ponzi scammer giving advice to another ponzi scammer. You both are disgusting.
