161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If United states legalize Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2018, 01:59:39 PM
Will China, India and other countries follow the same path?
Each and every country have different perspectives and they take economic decisions based on their country's geo political situations. But if US takes such a decision, then it might make other countries to reconsider their decision and it might also be an eye opener for other countries. But its hard for US to expect to legalize bitcoin.
162  Other / Off-topic / Re: Give a man a fish or teach him how to fish on: April 29, 2018, 01:52:35 PM
Yes just totally relying on others opinion would not be helpful all the time.It would be like taking risks blindly.Spending time to learn about the basics of cryptos, their price histories and the future developments in the crypto industry only would help anyone to sustain in this new industry for a long time.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True BTC believers on: April 29, 2018, 01:48:39 PM
Investors who actually even don't know about the basic functioning of bitcoin and its potential contribute nothing to bitcoin.Whenever the price rises, they would buy bitcoins and when they see a price dip, they would just fly away in the same speed as they entered.

Its due to true BTC believers that it has survived despite such huge price falls and critical conditions.
164  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The wave of cutting tax for Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency in Europe on: April 29, 2018, 01:44:40 PM
That's really a great move by france.I think that its time for the world nations to realize that they neither could avoid cryptos and nor could levy heavy taxes like 45%.

Its an innovative technology and if they regulate it and levy moderate taxes, then it would be a new and big source of income for them.

More european countries are likely to turn friendly towards cryptos and they too could move as france did.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lost my myetherwallet password on: April 29, 2018, 07:04:20 AM
Thanks a lot guys.I have found it in keystore(UTC/Json).Just to move it and sell.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: April 29, 2018, 06:08:43 AM
So many countries now were prohibiting the use of virtual cryptocurrencies. And to think that many unemployed individuals were beginning to uplift their way of living because of their dealings with cryptocurrencies. Banks doesn't expressly say why it is banning the use of Bitcoin.
What do you think is the reason behind this?
Governments are afraid of losing their tax revenues as they would not be able to trace the bitcoin transactions. So they are keen to ban cryptos.Banks have started to suffer losses in revenues which they got from transactions and remittances. Also they fear that in future people would totally avoid depositing in banks and would just buy bitcoins which would be a huge loss for them.So they ban the accounts elated to crypto trading.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Lost my myetherwallet password on: April 29, 2018, 06:00:01 AM
Hi recently i have received around 1000 shipchain tokens in my myetherwallet as a reward for participating in their signature campaign after three months. But the sad thing is that i have forgot my myetherwallet password in which tokens are now sent.I have searched my laptop, pendrive, etc but no use.As we all know that most of the ICOs fail and the tokens remain useless,i was a little bit careless about storing the password and private key safely.I think that tokens are now almost $80 worth.

Have any one come across with such a situation?
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you forget your bitcoin wallet password? on: April 29, 2018, 05:52:58 AM
it is perfectly. but where are the guarantees that these guys will not be able to recover your password and just do not steal your money? I think there is only one option: always write down your password.

I used it last week, actually, some people maybe had confusion that bad guys have the chance to steal their wallet money when the software decrypt the password, but that software can operate without a network so that user can protect their’ confidentiality, and it doesn’t upload any of your information, without giving them any opportunity to steal your money.

Nice try trying to lure bitcoin newbies into getting some private info and potentially stealing other wallet credentials. Even if such an application operates offline, it can still potentiall store the data it gathered somewhere without you noticing, and upload it once the machine is connected to the internet. If you lost your privkey, that's it. No amount of computing power today can brute-force it. Even wallet passwords is a hard feat and it wouldn't be viable to guess it for, let's say even a quad-core CPU which most PCs and laptops have. Do not fal for this, please.
Yes its very risky to use such services. It would be always better to store your password safely either in a pendrive or manually written in a paper.Recently i lost my myetherwallet password and i'm totally upset about it as i have some tokens saved in it
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is the most dominant? on: April 27, 2018, 11:41:34 PM
Why bitcoin is the most dominant among all crytocurrencies?
Is it because it is the first crytocurrency?
Is it because of its popularity?
Is it because of its value?
Please enlighten me.
It's the most dominant currency because of its sustainability for such a long period of time despite the critical situations it has faced over the past years.
170  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Roger Ver to be sued for defrauding bitcoin newbies. on: April 27, 2018, 11:26:45 PM
The way BCH is displayed as bitcoin in bitcoin.con is definitely misleading. He should be ashamed to do this and deserves for a lawsuit to be filled against him.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Relief In Crypto Taxation: France Brings Crypto Taxes Down To 19% on: April 27, 2018, 11:22:33 PM
That would really be a great relief for crypto users in France.Earlier tax of 45 percent means that almost crypto users had been paying almost half of their earnings.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you hear about Bitcoin (From Ponzi to Cryptocurrency) on: April 27, 2018, 11:18:19 PM
Actually bitcoin was introduced to me in 2016 by my friend when I was working in Dubai. He said that we could send money to our home country even without any banks or exchanges at very low fee. That was the reason for which I started using bitcoin first.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your opinion about journalists talking about Bitcoin but are not Hodlers? on: April 27, 2018, 11:10:51 PM
Journalists don't deliver truth nowadays. They just want to give sensational news without bothering whether it is true or not.
174  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC will always recover beyond its previous peak on: April 22, 2018, 01:13:29 PM
Bitcoin is in a cycle which most investors dismiss and will always recover beyond its previous peak.
Bitcoin historical crashes:

2011: Bitcoin fell 94%
2013: Bitcoin fell 87%
2014: Bitcoin fell 83%
2018: Bitcoin fell 70%

As you can see more MarketCap - less fell!
What do you think about it?

Bitcoin price falling down very highly and soon recovering to reach new ATH is a routine phenomenon taking place in bitcoin.Whatever FUD makes its price fall, soon it recovers by any way.
175  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance on: April 22, 2018, 01:07:47 PM
Bitcoin dominance has lessened to some extent due to the large number of altcoins entering the market. But still, bitcoin remains to be the single largest dominating coin.
176  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next bull run predictions on: April 22, 2018, 01:03:50 PM
My prediction is that it will be a great move even if bitcoin price crosses 10,000 dollars.I think that it would be very hard for bitcoin to cross its previous ATH price of almost 20,000 dollars.
177  Economy / Economics / Re: The EU wants transparency on Cryptocurrencies on: April 22, 2018, 10:12:22 AM
Stumbled upon this article today.

http://www.europarl.europa.eu/news/en/headlines/security/20180404STO00913/plenary-vote-stricter-eu-rules-on-money-laundering-and-terrorism-financing

According to the European Parliament, in order to fight money laundering and terrorism financing, they proposed a new legislation to regulate cryptocurrencies. Quoting from the article:

Quote
The new legislation would also require virtual currency exchange platforms and custodian wallet providers to exercise due diligence and end the anonymity associated with such exchanges. “Now we say that platform providers and those who keep bitcoins in their wallet need to know their customers just as banks do. It is quite revolutionary,” explains Sargentini.

In simple words, they actually want wallet providers to require more information from us, similar to banks.

What are your thoughts on this? Could this ever happen?
Yes this might happen if the government pressurise the wallet providers, then they would have no other option than asking KYC details from the customers and this would bring an end to anonymity completely.
178  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think capital controls in China will impact bitcoin price? on: April 22, 2018, 10:01:27 AM
I am sick of looking at cryptocurrencies being so dependent on some gov's regulations or limitations. It is not supposed to be this way.
The article is about the limit of $50k per year allowed to be moved somewhere else from the country by each Chinese citizen without it being considered suspicious. I think it is pretty fair, because those who have more really should explain how the hell did they get it. It is justified by security measures as well as the stability of national economy.
As for the hypothesis about Chinese using btc more in the future for transferring their money - well, it is very plausible and might first have positive impact on the price and then a really negative one when Chinese gov figures this out and suggests keeping track of btc funds and perhaps makes taxes for big btc users.
Absolutely prices may Spark at first but then later when the government have other intentions and start tracing the huge volume transns, then the price may start falling down.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks Won't Make You Rich on: April 22, 2018, 09:56:40 AM
It's only the banks which earn profits by lending our invested money as loans for interests. The only benefit which we could get is that our investment remains safe but not safe from deflation.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Currency Always Fails on: April 22, 2018, 08:20:59 AM
Yes.Fiat currency is vulnerable to deflation as it is nowadays printed infinitely and not based on the volume of gold which they hold.A lso if the government suddenly wants to devalue the fiat currency by demonitising as it was done in India, fiat currency would just fail leaving its holders in a misery.
