Haven't visited Aeon pools in a while, are the ASICS back since the hash rate spiked so much ?? I also noticed the volume is so low on Bittrex I'm afraid AEON could be delisted  I'm going to buy some coins - as much as I have available funds, please do the same and support this great project and devs. If Bittex announces the delisting - it will be too late then ... bittrex is now a relatively small exchange, having fallen in activity as well as coinbase and poloniex from their regulatory preoccupations..many clients left. there are other small exchanges that allow to buy and sell aeon. furthermore soon AEON will be on BISQ ! 2019 begins well. https://www.reddit.com/r/Aeon/comments/aba795/aeon_on_bisq_happy_new_year_everybody/That's great news ! Just saw on CoinMarketCal this event added 26th of August : "The Dogethereum crew will livestream a demonstration of the bridge on September 5 at 10AM PDT. " Is this project still alive?? Maybe the devs don't care about answering in this forum  I didn't manage to import keys from the doge core wallet as per their guide, so does someone know if any exchange support this?? They also added on the calendar that the fork will be 30th September  |

I've updated to new wallet and sync was going pretty well, but it got stuck at one point and i had to restart it. Once I did it it seems that sync was done in 1 minute  Now it shows block height 965765 (same as minergate) and ChainRadar is on block 956525 I'm really confused, did I get somehow to sync with the old chain ?! MinerGate and ChainRadar are probably yet to upgrade their software. When I checked them just now, the top block heights were 963504 and 956525, respectively. aeonblocks.com is on the correct chain where the top height as of now is 965789, so you are likely on the correct chain. You can use the ‘status’ command to see if your daemon is fully synced or not. Yup,and I also just received my block reward. Thank you very much. |

@smooth. Yes we should without doubt innovate, but on the simplest areas of the project like a more efficient blockchain pruning, or a less power hungry proof of work algorithm, something.
Among the other reasons this is also why I love this coin I think it has the least power-hungry algo I've ever mined so far... |

@boomboombazooka. Yes I hope so. Aeon has been around longer than most other altcoins but the newer coins have 10x more value in marketcap only because they are marketing their coins well.
But if we look at Aeon, we have nothing. After the code rebase, it will be a Monero copy cat once again. I hope that will change as it develops.
And how is that wrong actually?? it has monero features but with "light" mining algorithm that makes it easier to mine on any device, and thus make the network stronger. However being so far behind xmr with the algo implementation I have a feeling that a huge dump is going to happen around the fork; those asic miners that are raping the coin right now will get rid of it as soon as it makes the changes |

wow. 4 etn. Great  then you can buy every 4 weeks a burger at mcdonald. a lot of fun with the phone. what did you pay for the mobile phone? Around 500 euros mate, I pre-ordered it and gave back my good old iPhone 6 and I received a discount of 150 euros  I did not buy ther S9 just to mine ETN with it tho I just needed an upgrade, cuz my iPhone was getting reaaaal slow, not to mention that app dev is focused mainly for Android phones, and iOS devices are put a bit in the background. That is a nice upgrade! I'll hang on to my S8+ for another year though. I'm trying to be sensible for once and not change my phone like I change my underwear. I was seriously tempted by the S9 though. Enjoy! But I really hate that feeling when you just got your brand new phone and can't get enough of playing with it, and then within couple of days - "Check The New S9 Coming Out Next Week" |

Still one pool finding (almost) all blocks ?!  I see most of the other pools without a single block for a week or more and miners leave come onnnnn people spread the hashrate a little bit please |

Haven't checked this thread for a while but I'm so happy that DOGE survived through so many turbulence and rough times, and I hope it will see the light as it deserves one day KUDOS to all the supporters and even more to the miners ! |
