561  Economy / Speculation / Re: CHOO CHOO! "Bitcoin payments are coming soon to Steam" on: April 21, 2016, 09:40:33 PM
When g2a implemented bitcoin there wasn't a huge increase of bitcoin price at that time, but if steam do this then bitcoin pay method will be available to millions of users which i think will buy bitcoins not only to spend but also to invest/hold.

Later this year:

Teens (without access to VISA or Mastercard) selling Steam items on the Steam Community market for BTC.

Bitcoin will be their first "bank account", so to speak. Way to onboard a generation. Smiley

This kid is already doing it: https://www.reddit.com/r/personalfinance/comments/3zeq86/16_year_old_making_2250month_need_suggestions/

This is why bitcoin has more advantages for the teens and for those who can't have bank/visa accounts/cards.
About that guy, it makes $2250 per month but the profit is somewhere 50% which is still great.

As far as i know g2a has implemented the payment method through bitcoin last year so this time steam, hope the price of bitcoin will be increased more, will it?

Definitely.

565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who coined the term "blockchain"? on: April 21, 2016, 08:24:01 PM
The term "blockchain" doesn't appear in the original Bitcoin paper. Who used the term for the first time, anyone knows?

I don't know exactly who, but i believe that the first one who used it should be Satoshi Nakamoto, about the definition i found this https://www.techopedia.com/definition/30246/blockchain

Thanks guys, unsure about fees   here is the transaction id f6485355bdafb8bc4c13bc4ce770ba449c11487a0ceb5bd01b72e411483a47a2-000
This transaction id is not recognized. maybe it is wrong? The end with "-000" is strange.

OP simply copied from his wallet, remove the -000 and you should get the correct ID.
Although in this case it doesn't work anyways.

If OP is talking about d47769ff46c9c429a3d5dba4fe2a24665f6d55e3f0903a320f533cd6bff47c44, this transaction has no fees and you have to expect a long wait before funds are confirmed or even a rejection.

All you can do now is wait.

If this is the OP's transaction which he is asking for then i have a feeling that his transaction will never get confirmed unless someone will push this transaction.

568  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy BTC now or wait for a lower price? on: April 20, 2016, 09:02:29 PM
Who has planned to buy bitcoins and haven't bought yet then it is not late to buy, the waiting time i think that will worth, most of us think that the price will be higher than it is now.

It all depends on what the investment plan of that person is. If he plans to buy for the short term, then I will advice that person to wait with buying. If he plans to buy for the long term, then I will advice that person to buy at the current price. All because I believe the long term will bring more than decent growth.

Well buying bitcoins for short terms i don't think that it is a potential to get any profit because the price changes so often, it can be profit if the amount is 10BTC+ when the price changes +$10 then there is a profit of $100 in a short period of time.
569  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to get the private key of an Electrum wallet adress? on: April 20, 2016, 08:58:17 PM
Hey,

Can anyone tell me how I find out the private key of an electrum wallet adress? All I could find so far was a private key for the whole wallet, any chance to find the one for a specific adress?

Thanks in advance

I don't use electrum but with a search on google i found this pic maybe you should try this. (instead of sweep, try export)

Your activity is 10 + 14 = 24.

You are still a newbie for the first two weeks.
Why bumping a thread ~3weeks old, anyway OP is now Jr.member with 42 activity not 24. Within three weeks OP can be member with 70 activity.
571  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Survey] What do you want from a new advertising network? on: April 20, 2016, 08:39:09 PM
Hello everyone

Title is self explanatory, What would you want from a new advertising network to start using it?

Thanks

What i would like to see from a new advertising network are better looking ads(not like regular ads), a slighlty higher rate, make levels so when reaching 1M impressions to unlock something new etc.
572  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: NEW APP FREE BITCOINS on: April 20, 2016, 08:32:52 PM
Paid apps to get bitcoin and i was afraid about what op promise in first post. Get rich get millions of bitcoin. I will suggest not to get involved in this possible scam.

Seems that nobody installed(bought) that app on google play store, i doubt it has something special rather than a rotator which is free by searching in google or micro earnings board.
573  Economy / Speculation / Re: if bittrex,yobit,poloniex,c-cex,etc scam? on: April 20, 2016, 08:29:37 PM
price bitcoin up or down?

Don't know what to say, people will lose lots of money so probably they will move to another exchange and a number of them will quit the trading, or quit the cryptocurrency world, i think the price will move up and down (balanced)
574  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHICH BITCOIN WALLET IS THE MOST GOOD AND CONVINENCY on: April 20, 2016, 08:13:08 PM
Electrum for me, lightweight and easy to use, also safer rather than blockchain.info which is sometimes down

I tried Coinbase.com, It simply just gives you a very small control over your account.

Coinbase does not give you the private key so you don't control your 'own' bitcoins, which means when coinbase is offline you can't move your bitcoins.

OP was online today but i think he didn't saw our replies here, I'm sending a pm to test the 30minutes trial for this tool. @alani123 there is no option for bitcoins, only credit/debit card and paypal.

577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: (Selling) 68.237914 ETH , Pushing Down. on: April 20, 2016, 07:48:38 PM
Buy
1ETH=0.01BTC

Who will sell his ethereum for -50% of the actual price? The current price in exchanges today where at 0.02 (currently 0.0195). OP have you tried to sell directly through the exchanges, the lowest today that i saw was 0.0188, today was/is not a good time to sell.
578  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fasten your seatbelts: now it begins... on: April 20, 2016, 07:45:11 PM
Looking at the altcoins exchange rate most of the graphs are red color which means that the exchange rate is falling down, while the bitcoin price is growing (green colors), hope this trending will not stop even after the halving.

580  Economy / Economics / Re: Are electric cars bad for the oil industry? on: April 20, 2016, 07:28:50 PM
Title.

So. Electric cars are gaining in popularity, therefore the popularity of gasoline will be going down. Won't the price go down, leaving the oil industry in trouble?

I don't think that will affect the oil price because of the trending of electric cars, most of the things today works with electricity and oil so it should take lots of years maybe one or two decades until it will affect the oil price.
