962  Economy / Economics / Re: If everyone used GOLD instead of paper money like the sheep we are and just igno on: January 25, 2016, 06:13:46 PM
If everyone used GOLD instead of paper money like the sheep we are and just ignore the banks and the gov they will be forced to use GOLD also the power is in our own hands and you don't have to carry a lot of it....
1/10 coin will buy the equivalent of $106 worth of goods in fact... the goods weigh more than the gold itself you cant expect to have everything in your own world some sacrifices need to be made to stabelize the economomy
Using cash is more portable and i don't like using gold instead of fiat, it is more complicated.
963  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is your dream for bitcoin? What will it become? on: January 25, 2016, 06:07:24 PM
I'd like to hear some opinions about bitcoin here, and please go into as much detail as you can.

Where is bitcoin going?

What will it become?
I have the dream that bitcoin will become one of the most used cryptocurrency in the world, pretty near like fiat(online)
964  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: doV is a scammer! on: January 23, 2016, 11:00:03 PM
This is disheartening--I'm considering being even more of a whore than I already am and looking for an avatar campaign, but I don't want to hand it over for free.  I don't want to get scammed.  Hopefully the owner straightens shit out.
This one (AV) was for 5 days, the BUCKS was for 7 days, it's not a big amount but the fact being scammed hurts.
Both of them haven't received negative trust from DT doV & SwagSociety.me
Yeah I totally hear you.  I was just checking out the other avatar campaigns and there don't seem to be any openings.  I'm actually happy with the Yobit sig campaign and I'm just looking to rent out my avatar, but I can't find any opportunities.  This is a part of BCT that fascinates me--the sig and avatar campaigns.  I've seen these nowhere else.
It was another one but the owner/manager at the end was spreading the wallet injected with malware and that topic was closed and he was negged, at the moment it's already one avatar campaign running but it's full.
965  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price is below 400$, What next? on: January 23, 2016, 10:48:25 PM
The price is going down. I expect it to reach below 350$.

What are your thoughts?

The price is below $400 and soon it will be back soon again to $400, if not this month i have a feeling that for sure it will happen in February.

967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is growing faster than Bitcoin on: January 23, 2016, 10:40:33 PM
There's another topic comparing the 2: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1260666.0

The subject here is that between 2014 and 2015, Paypal gained 16 millions new users (https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/mpp/about). There's no way to be sure as it's impossible to count how many users BTC has, but I believe it's more than BTC. Much more. So I'm asking why? And ultimately, what can be done to reverse this trend?

Since BTC is cheaper to use, I guess Paypal is more successful because it's better at making its users feel safe, without any dark cloud/block size issue above their heads.

I sincerely believe BTC's one hundred times better than Paypal because it's a currency, and unregulated, but something clearly has to change. I've been here long enough to remember guys writing that BTC would kill Paypal, it hasn't, and it doesn't look that it will.

Paypal is much more popular than bitcoin and paypal is almost accepted everywhere, protects the buyer rights etc, bitcoin is new and not always is good for the buyers.
968  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price coming down on: January 23, 2016, 10:38:10 PM
Btc price coming down probably people are selling btc to get money for holidays right ?
I think shop owners who accept bitcoin are selling btc from the christmas purchases from the past weeks.

If price come down then it's good for faucet owner Smiley

If the faucets owners buy bitcoin through fiat then it is the same, but the reward is less in bitcoin but the same value as before.
969  Economy / Digital goods / Re: giving 0.5$ bounty on: January 23, 2016, 10:37:11 PM
Thats an easy bounty. could someone please rip the youtube video to mp3 at the best quality as possible?

I can do that for free if none of the above users done that before this post, good luck.
970  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: doV is a scammer! on: January 23, 2016, 10:35:25 PM
This is a sign that every avatar campaign should put their funds in escrow, the last two avatar campaign(BUCKS and AV) scammed the users here.
971  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: January 23, 2016, 10:33:37 PM
It's not a bad time to buy bitcoins, but not the ideal time, i think that the price will be increased in few months.
972  Other / Meta / Re: Auto Posting on this forum on: January 23, 2016, 03:52:41 PM
I am starting a topic for sports events tips and instead of mannually posting the tip, I would like to automatically post on my topic as soon as I receive it- the more time pass the less valuable is the tip, so if I can share it quickly it's better.

I know this forum has no api however I would like to know if there is any way to post stuff automatically (not spam!)
What kind of stuff will be that, will you put them in a notepad file or how do you think. I can make a bot for you but need more details to know if I'm able to finish it.

975  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: January 16, 2016, 01:12:49 PM
Okay, I deposited $17 into my wallet. It's 2/3 (Pending)
Before I order the card I have a few questions Smiley
1: How do I add PayPal funds to the card? I know you need to add it via Bank or something but I'm not sure how.
2: How long is shipping to Australia via standard delivery?
3: Suppose I don't have a phone, (broken) what would I do?
Thanks.

977  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price fall I need to sell now on: January 16, 2016, 01:06:06 PM
The bitcoin price can do even more down but it will rise again in the following weeks or months and i don't think it's the right time to sell now.

A lot of people are saying that but I do not think this predicted rise will happen soon. It may happen at the end of this year but not now with all of these negative news
This is a problematic situation for the bitcoin community maybe the price will stay at this stage but i hope it will rise.
978  Economy / Exchanges / Re: E-coin question on: January 16, 2016, 12:57:39 PM
So I finally got the 0.05 BTC required to purchase a card.
Standard shipping to Australia, I'm just waiting for three confirmations before I can order it.
Is there any way I can find out the estimated delivery time? I'm not sure how long to wait for the card because I've never really bought a card online lol other than student edge and that took around a week
THe issues is a gibraltar bank so it should take 2-8 weeks to be delivered in Australia, so you basically want to choose the Standard Delivery option?

Damn, 2-8 weeks..
I'm choosing the standard delivery option for 0.048 BTC ($17)
I thought it gets delivered within like 2 weeks lol

This is what i found
    for EU countries it usually takes about 2 weeks or less;
for other countries it takes 2-8 weeks (sometimes even longer if the location remote. E.g. Morocco is known for prolonged delivery, it is almost always about 8-9 weeks).
979  Economy / Exchanges / Re: is Cryptsy about to fold over??? on: January 16, 2016, 12:56:14 PM
Thanks for suggestions. You confirmed that poloniex is a way to go as I hoped.
"Don't put all your eggs in one basket" i use poloniex too but use and another exchange don't risk everything on the success of one venture.
