1  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much Bitcoin price Expected end of this year on: January 28, 2019, 03:58:50 PM
Depends if the market is still bear by eoy.. if it is the price might be where it is now. Some people think it will go bull on either v-good news in say mere months, or it will take >1y..

4  Other / Meta / Re: Give Legendary members some competition on: January 21, 2019, 02:59:38 PM
Hey before you continue reading this, I just one to point out to you that this topic is totally a joke don't take it that seriously.

These days, it looks like most Legendary members are a bit relax they don't tend to post much & most of their replies are just shot, one line and sometimes meaningless (no offends). And other times all they're interested in is DT1/DT2 aka trust system and scores

How about awaking their spirit by giving them a little challenge maybe it could be something like this.

1000Merit = Legendary
2000Merit = Diamond Legendary
3000merit = Silver Legendary
5000merit = Gold legendary

This ranks can be accompanied with some benefits or maybe just the bragging rights 😂

Maybe this will awaken them then we can differentiate those just enjoying the privilege of a early forum user and those with quality under their sleeves. Then they can get back to their old ways and maybe we learn one or two from the post they write.

Remember this is just a joke don't attack me please 😂

You forgot red, blue, yellow, ruby, sapphire, emerald, black/white, and whatever colors/gems from the pokemon games i can't remember lol Cheesy
5  Economy / Economics / Re: Will 2019 take us to Moon or Mars? on: January 11, 2019, 12:07:07 PM
Hard to say.. i have read conflicting views that 2019 is bear and it is now consolidating, but also read things like bakkt which is bull and could launch it to Jupiter lol
6  Other / Meta / Re: HOW do I get merit? on: January 11, 2019, 12:02:06 PM

You’ve got lots of merit how did you get it?

The 1000 that I got was just from being a Legendary member, like the 250 that you got. The 226 additional was just people being nice to me.  Grin

People are nice to people on here? xD
7  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it the end of cryptocurrency? on: November 27, 2018, 03:08:12 PM
No, why does everyone think it's all over when it's going down? it had a meteoric rise last year which was unsustainable and now it is correcting for that.. it is a highly speculative asset, but the tech is sound, and when it reaches new heights at a more manageable pace it will become less speculative, less manipulable, and more stable.
8  Other / Meta / Re: There are many smerit holdings but not readily given. Could we punish them? on: April 21, 2018, 02:07:52 PM
I agree that not much merit seems to be handed out now compared to when the system was first put in place, this thread notwithstanding, but punishing people for not giving out merit is insane.
9  Other / Meta / Re: What is the next level after Legendary on: April 19, 2018, 01:30:34 PM

11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin Mining 'Wastes Vast Amounts of Energy, Harms Environment' on: April 04, 2018, 08:54:06 AM
It wastes far less than current institutions and has the potential to do far more for it.

There is no way to secure the network without the work being done.. and no eth PoS stake etc. is not the answer: currently the only way to have a tamper proof blockchain is via PoW.
12  Other / Meta / Re: New new rank requirements on: April 01, 2018, 11:15:01 AM

13  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does it bother you if your wife earns more in a month than you ? on: March 31, 2018, 09:50:19 AM
No, it doesn't bother me at all -- and it's not because i'm a feminist, or because we live in a egalitarian society.. no, it doesn't bother me at all because i have no wife Wink
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: STEFAN MOLYNEUX IS AN IDIOT on: March 30, 2018, 09:53:53 AM
While Molyneux isn't always right on everything.. a lot of his videos do make you think about the way things are and why. Some of his videos are really quite interesting.

16  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is the best way to gain twitter followers after 5000+? on: March 28, 2018, 10:36:59 AM
You should naturally be getting some by that point, but in order to double you'd probably have to do something to either drive traffic there or tweet a lot of really good tweets/content consistently in order to become more popular.

19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump Tax on: March 24, 2018, 11:19:29 AM
it will hurt the US not china like some one else said "it will be business as usually for china" why does china need to sell the US again .....    asshole in charge just doesn't understand and trump is one of the worst business men, I've seen, an i'm not a business type.

If you're not a buisness type, then how can you reasonably judge someone to be one of the worst business men, I've seen. Traditionally, someone so bad at business wouldn't go from millionaire to billionaire and be able to sustain it, regardless of their starting point and associates.

This may be a mistake, but he has said that the US is getting a bad deal on almost all their trades while the other countries are getting good deals. If you're getting a bad deal and they're getting a good one, then to tip over the apple cart should theoretically hurt your trading partners more than you, and allow for a potentially more reasonable deal to form in the future (if you're the richest country in the world other countries are just going to want to or have to trade with you). Global trade and politics is complex and i don't think anyone can claim to know where the chips will fall, and if they do claim to, they're either lying and just guessing.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Buterin donated $ 2.4 million to research on aging on: March 23, 2018, 11:12:03 AM
This is great news. Buterin and the Pineapple fund have both donated to SENS. Amazing to see people donating to such a worthy and important cause as combating aging which effects everyone!
