Wasn't going to post, because the price is too high for me; however, I had to say something..... Dude, that chest is nice.

How much for the chest without the coins?   Smiley

am i only one who think its overpriced? it doesnt seem to be big and doesnt seem to take some skills to make

You're not.  I am sure many people think they are overpriced.  In fact, all art is overpriced to those that don't buy it and priced just right for those that do buy it.  And, it's considered priced low for those that sell it for a profit later or actually enjoy it on the wall.

Personally, I thought overpriced at first until I realized they are limited and hand made.  If the seller mass produced, then I wouldn't have bought any.
I keep this in mind....  How many people have something to show for their bitcoins (other than possible profit)?  This is why I have shirts, sweaters, Casascius coins, mining gear, stickers, robots, paintings, posters, magazines, and even a neon light all specifically bitcoin related.   So, having something to show for your bitcoin is as important as bitcoin itself.  I think it brings value to bitcoin.
1044  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC on May 6, 2015 on: April 26, 2015, 06:43:46 AM
Didn't realize I said something complicated.

To lay it up....

You pay me $220,000 today.  I then sell you 1000BTC on May 6th for $1000.
PS.  You don't need to sign anything.  But, if you want, I would be happy to pay for the attorney.

I do not understand paying $221,000 for 1000 BTC at a rate of $221 USD/BTC when that bears zero relation to my OP terms or any conceivable rate of decline in BTC market price between now and May 6 2015. Someone with $221,000 to flush down the toilet could buy that much BTC right now.

Do you wish to delete your posts or shall I?

A contract NOW to buy BTC at $1 in the future is to guarentee you the price.   Yes, you could buy it for $220k now.  But, what happens if price goes to $300 by May 6th.  In this case, you have the option to still buy them for $1 each.   So, it's not flushing $220k down the toilet if BTC actually goes up.

So, you don't want a contract or option.  if the price goes to $1 per bitcoin by that date, you could then buy 1000btc for $1000 at that time just like you could buy 1000btc for $220k now (not really since it would be closer to $230k).

Your post was unclear, so I tried to clarify what you're asking to do.

Sure, you can delete my posts, but that would make your thread more unclear again.
1045  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] BTC on May 6, 2015 on: April 26, 2015, 04:08:26 AM
Ok.

I would agree to sell you a contract (option) to purchase 1000BTC on May 6th @ $1 each for the price of $220k

I do not sign contracts that have numbers or words in them which only my counterparty and competent lawyers (who I cannot afford) understand.

Just want to be clear.

You want to pay $1000 now to get 1000BTC if the price hits $1 on May 6th?
If so, I will happily sign that contract.

Or, you want to pay $1000 for 1000BTC on May 6th if the price hits $1 for 1BTC.

Or, you want to find a contract (option) to purchase 1000BTC at $1 each on May 6th.
- In this case, I would also be willing to sign such a contract; however, my price would be $225k.  Let me know if you need my bank information.

I wonder who will take the first sculpture -BITCOIN PEAKS 01-?

What's the shipping cost gonna be for it?
The glass case is part of the deal?
1049  Economy / Collectibles / Re: - BITCOIN PEAKS -modern art for bitcoins on: April 23, 2015, 03:20:30 PM
I would buy it, but the price is too steep for me. Good luck with the sales!

Funny you should say that as I thought the same thing when I first saw the work.
When I realized they were one of a kind (not simply copy after copy), it changed my mind.

So, I got two of his works.
Of course the delay in shipping (distance wise) lifted my anticipation.

I am happy with the two paintings I received.

I have to say that I didn't like it at first.

When I scrolled through the pictures to see it was basically 3D (depth), I then really liked it.
Also, like the glass display case as well.

Very nice job!
1051  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: April 16, 2015, 11:36:35 PM

Yeah, Apple screwed up our AppStore submission. We had to pull it because the updated version would lock up user's bitcoins and prevent them from spending. We found the problem, though, and should have a fixed one soon.

Good thing I have it on android and only used the iOS version as a watch.  Smiley
Thanks for the response.
1052  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium Bitcoin Wallet on: April 16, 2015, 06:52:00 PM
Did anyone notice that it disappeared from the iOS app store a few days ago?
And, the app itself does sync, but you can't send bitcoins from it.  (issue started when the app disappeared)
1053  Economy / Auctions / Re: Casascius 0.5 BTC Silver Series-2 physical bitcoin: NO RESERVE, 30-DAY AUCTION on: April 02, 2015, 08:25:07 PM
I think it was a mistake to make it a .1 increment instead of a .05 or .01

9.9 was mine as well; however, I am sure I would have simply extended the auction for a while with .01 bids.

Oh well. congrats.

Sad moment when you can't snipe an auction.
