1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Antminer E3 firmware blissz ? on: August 25, 2018, 05:56:15 PM
The problem with the blissz firm is the GPL license, hi/she blocked the threads here, and stoped the releseases of the firm, soo I think you don't have this option

Naw, because then y'all will get excited and I'll never unload the last batch of 2Pacs because everyone will want to wait for the new stuff. But I really want to unload the last batch of 2Pacs.

Where to buy them in europe and how many do you have left?

you can check in bitshopper
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: DIY FPGA Mining rig for any algorithm with fast ROI on: May 01, 2018, 11:45:58 AM
It's not for everyone, the price is expensive but I think this is the next step in mining

If we buy a Xilinx VCU1525 we have to buy anything more? Or it`s like a gpu you connect on PCI-E, install drivers and use your program you will launch?

Thanks

Yes, very simple, you just need to make sure you have enough USB ports on the motherboard, otherwise you can use a PCIe-USB adapter card.  Depends on how many FPGA cards you want to run.

@whitefire990

Question, for your software / hardware experience, is there a limit on the amount of devices? I know for windows, there's like a GPU limit, but since it's interacting through USB... wonder if it's possible to just dedicated 1 rig for the O/S and stack on all the FPGA through multiple PCIe-USB adapter card to consolidate... for example, instead of (2) 8 FPGA rig into a (1) 16 FPGA rig, or even (1) 20 FPGA rig. Wonder what's the limit, if the CPU will be bottleneck first or if the PCIE lanes all used up.

Another thing, do you have a team behind you (does project go on if something bad happens to yourself)? It sounds like you are solely doing everything on your own. Reason I'm asking is because as you mentioned, the initial investment is huge. Worst case scenario, lets say something happened to you and you are no longer able to continue, does the project stop? People would be stuck with very expensive hardware...

If I not remember bad you can use arront 40-50 USB devices per USB port on the computer.

The return of the FPGA wow, long time w/o seeing this for mining purposes.

I think this page is broken Sad, I send some Sucres, in the Block explorer apears, but in the site it doesn't...
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: March 10, 2018, 09:17:05 AM
Problem is: Due to legal constraints a housing for the PCB is a must to fulfill WEEE and EU electronics requirements.

just wondering...

how come that you can buy hundreds of pcb types, arduino's, raspberry pi's etc in an electronics shop/webshop that doesn't have any housing?

that stuff was imported too without any problems.
They don't import the PODs, they build it, then need to use the 'legality'...
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer V9 4TH on: February 27, 2018, 06:49:05 PM
I think the V9 appeals mostly to people who want to learn about mining, but don't want to invest thousands of dollars up-front. If I were just getting started, the V9 would be worth the money just so that I can make sure I know how everything works before purchasing a more efficient (expensive) miner. Besides, lots of people don't mind using these as glorified space heaters that earn a little money to offset the electricity. I have a neighbor using some D3s for that purpose specifically.

The problem is you need to buy in bulk...

Sorry to be negative but I see some having already 4 pods.

Wasn't the deal to spread it to as much as possible starting with a max of 1 pod to give 'everyone' a chance to get one?

I and several others fished behind the net serveral times on other hardware due to bulk buyers.

Any news for us euro people?
The problem I think is the shipping costs, for us the Europeans need to wait for bitshopper, we have hard to get those little babyes and by legalities we get a enclosed pod.

sorry with my very bad English.

Seriously who will buy such a crap?

Anyone who is for some reason looking at buying an s7 on ebay/amazon...that's about it.

Or someone that don't have 2k$ and need a heater space
9  Local / Primeros pasos y ayuda / Minería en testnet on: January 28, 2018, 09:26:23 PM
Disculpad, e instalado el último btc core, he sincronizado el blockchin de testnet, pero no logro ni que el BGFminr ni el CGminer se comuniquen con la cartera, ¿alguno sabe que debo de hacer?
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: January 11, 2018, 06:28:03 PM
Looking at prices online, most miners are ridiculously overpriced - people are selling miners which operate at a daily loss (I suspect to people who can't math well and don't understand mining). Old block erupters, for example, sell at $50 a piece and earn less than $1 per year. It's nuts.

Decent deals I've found are old S1s for around $100, things like that. A realistic price I've found that tends to balance this crazy demand with a decent roi is a machine that ends up costing about $1 per 2/GH/sec. ie, a $100 GH machine is about $50.

Maybe you could price it something like that?
One with brain, thanks, I see the world is soo crazy this days, I see the 2 pack at 200€, I think it's too high for a 2 months product that cost arround 60$
11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who likes pod miners? on: January 11, 2018, 06:10:22 PM
Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed by some of the sellers online charging 400% markups. I've talked to my friend Laura, beneficiary of the 2Pac seconds and hacked S7 sales, about doing direct sales on commission. She'd be handling Terminus sales to individuals once those are launched, plus I'd be setting aside a certain number of 2Pacs every week for small orders without crazy markup. Works out for everyone because y'all won't have to pay embarassingly high prices, she gets some extra income and I can keep focusing on making stuff instead of communicating with customers all day (the primary reason small sales were closed).

I don't have any good Terminus pictures handy but I definitely will post some before/when sales open.

I'm Interested in the Pods Smiley to Spain

looks pretty interesting. when would the ICO end?

No ICO here... more info https://sucremoneda.net/english.html

Hi SucreDev, after reboot I get this error "error: incorrect rpcuser or rpcpassword (authorization failed)", maybe the wrong user launching it...

Testing the next code in crontab
Code:
@reboot sucrd -daemon &

But, Do you need to start the masternode from te walled on the reboots?

Edited the crontab code

Hi SucreDev, thanks for your guide, I have some cuestions, you make a chrom job for the sentinel, but. What happens if the machine have a power off or a reboot?, I think the wallet doesn't start at boot, what do you think to put the 'sucrd -daemon' code in the '/etc/rc.local' script? will it work os is redundant?

Sorry with my very bad English.

Are you will be selling bare chips for DIY miners?
(I will also drop you email with some exact question on info@)

BTW: Good job with designs and sale!

In Ebay you have some chips from Israel
