Thanks IAlways Ask! I'm hoping it wasn't with MtGox as I believed they went bankrupt

Even if I can't find my bitcoin it has been a trip down memory lane going through all my old emails and scouring the old forums again.

Hey folks,
Back in 2012 I was mining on Slushpool. Apparently when I set up my account with Slushpool I added a address to my account (would make sense as a requirement when I created the account). Unfortunately, I do not know which type of wallet I had created/used at that time. I inadvertently hit the "payout" and the majority of my bitcoin was sent to the address which was listed in my payout address...yeah I know pretty darn dumb.

Question for the Old Timer Miners...Does anyone remember if Slushpool would have recommended a wallet to use back in 2012 and if so which one? Does anyone know which wallets were around in 2012 so I can narrow my search?
