All remaining coins have shipped during this week! Should be there soon.
Thank you - just received my last one. It's a fantastic coin.

The hologram-numbering is very well visible on this one - did you chance the process? I like it, think it's better this way!

Coin funded!

I haven't changed the process though :/

The design looks great, but have you contacted drawing author for permission to use his intellectual property?

I see you offer an option to fund it btc. When money got involved, wont this redditor ask for a "peace of a pie" ?

Please, take some time to read the rest of the thread as the issues has already been discussed before, for reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7jj0oa/im_donating_5057_btc_to_charitable_causes/dr6syg7/?context=3

The creator does not want any type of retribution for it.

This would be great if theymos had put a green light or somehow named you officially as the maker and distributor of collectible token because if not you are just selling and distributing an unofficial token of BCT. Maybe the next step for you is to talk to theymos personally so that you can officially affiliate the token to BCT. Also when looking at the medium article you provided the image of the Wizard King is created by South Park Digital Studios and my concern is have you asked their permission to use the image freely and with consent? Because we all know that the BCT community is strongly against plagiarism and that also includes copyright of images, we don't really want our community being associated with a stolen image for our official token.

Thanks for your comment!

I have PM'd theymos, hopefully he will reply with what he thinks.

Regarding the image, I think you got confused. South Park drawers were inspired by the original Bitcoin Wizard, not the other way around. So there are no possible claims, moreover the drawing "owner" does not accept donations nor retributions from it.

As MJ pointed out, a broader audience of the forum should help with the final coin. I have posted this in meta: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148694 lets continue there.

Those of us who ordered the 3 coin set waited well over a year for those 3 coins.....my question is, if you're working on this coin...how long will the people who won your auction, have to wait for the 10 coin 10 year set? Will you be finishing the one project before undertaking this one? This would have been a good idea for that set imo,  Undecided you still have 7 coins to go to finish that set.....

Also, what about the first initial and their last name instead of a screen name? Maybe make it an option...

The 10 coin set themes were decided before launching it, so it will be completed at the same, and finished this year.

As much as I love this idea, we need to pump the brakes a whole lot.  As a collector that owns plenty of CI coins, I also know the shipping and communication concerns that come along with the purchasing of CI's coins.  I'd like the OP to REALLY think about this and take into consideration that this could potentially be hundreds of coins to hundreds of users.....

Again, I love the idea, let's just pump the brakes..... Wink

Yes, you a right there were quite a lot of delays with recent releases. But I am working to ensure future ones go much smoothly. In this case, in case people opt for a coin with hologram, they are already made taking a complex and potentially delaying part out of the way.

Has Theymos Ok'd CI's design and such? I imagine not every user wants a loaded coin. Will they be offered unloaded as well? Thanks.

It will be made based on people's preferences, I have PM'd theymos, waiting on his reply.
12  Other / Meta / Bitcointalk 10 Year anniversary coin/token? on: May 29, 2019, 04:13:20 PM
Hello!

I am Crypto Imperator, maker of physical crypto coins.

I am posting here, as some time ago theymos opened the following thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111005.0
asking forum users about the possibility to create a custom coin for the forum 10th anniversary.

One user posted an idea I loved (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111005.msg51139449#msg51139449), using the famous reddit drawing of "Bitcoin, Magical Internet Money" : https://medium.com/@paulbars/magic-internet-money-how-a-reddit-ad-made-bitcoin-hit-1000-and-inspired-south-parks-art-b414ec7a5598

So I designed this:

And posted a thread in the collectibles section asking for feedback: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5148409.0

Following the advice, as this is a creation potentially all forum users may want/like it should be jointly discussed by the whole forum. (Pending theymos opinion)

My original idea, was to make something similar to my other releases, a funded silver coin (that means it has a private key under an hologram) and to etch each buyers username at the back. But as some have pointed out, maybe a "token" coin is more suited for the occasion.

If you have some time please post what you think about:

1) Funded (0.001BTC or so) / Not funded, in the second case the design for the back will be completely different (Ideas welcome)

2) Silver / Other metal

3) Engraving for whoever wants it / No engraving at all

Hope we can create something special for the forum!

I like your proposal. Do you mean each buyer, as in every person who signs up for this coin will be etched in the back of the coin..or just a single username ?

Also, I donít know much about this magic internet monies wizard, other then I believe he was drawn up by someone on Reddit..was this early BTC days?

My idea is that each buyer gets his coin with his username etched on it.

Here is some more info about the drawing, it dates back to 2013: https://medium.com/@paulbars/magic-internet-money-how-a-reddit-ad-made-bitcoin-hit-1000-and-inspired-south-parks-art-b414ec7a5598

Hello all!

I loved the idea proposed by @jackbauercsgo here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5111005.140

And designed this:

With the idea of etching each buyer username in the back.
(Ignore the arrows)

Thinking about 1Oz Silver and low denomination like 0.001 BTC

Let me know what you think!

19  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN][WTS]From Satoshi to the World Coin 9 left! on: May 09, 2019, 07:19:30 PM
OK.  As far as I know you haven't notified me of them shipping.  Have they shipped?  Communication is important.  And, given the endless delays, it is not acceptable to keep your customers guessing if they have shipped or assume they have.

This is indeed quite annoying... If you ship them in batches, you could at least tell here what numbers have shipped if youíre cba to send PMís.

Haven't got around to sending tracking, will do in the following hours.

Still no tracking sent.  Still no coins received.  Why?

Trackings sent, only 5 coins left to be shipped.
