Yeah it seems like I didn't read the whole thread, anyway I don't like reserves, you better set a higher price then setting a lower and putting a reserve.

but I also didn't see that I need to provide additional 1btc for funding, does it really necessary?
As it is going to be pretty hard for me to get another one btc, isn't it possible to have it shipped DIY?

if you have a reserve then why didn't you start the auction from that reserve?
I forfeit my bid as it doesn't hit the reserve anyway.
Next time if you want to set a reserve of 1.4btc then start the auction at 1.4btc, as if I win an auction I don't want to find out that i need to pay you more.
Because reserve is in $ and not in BTC, and by how the BTC price has been increasing lately it could be considered "Unfair", 1 BTC at the start of the auction could be 1050$ at the end. Terms were clear since the start, current reserve price equivalent is barely your 1.35 BTC Bid... That was put with the best of intentions, like the one (1) Coin per customer limit. Exactly, if you win at 1.15 you should have to increase your bid until it reaches 1050$ or coin will be re-auctioned.
sorry, it does not make sense to me, whats the point in bidding up to 1.4 to win the coin? so were bidding to pay the full amount  ha ha so if someone wins at 1BTC and one coin goes has a bidding battle up to 1.4, we both pay the same, cant you see why the community is a little riled in your auction guide. an auction should start at the minimum to cover all costs and go up, not the other way. The only objective of the "public reserve price" is to protect us from sudden changes on Bitcoin price, so if for example auction ends at 1.5 BTC just when price goes to 200$/BTC there is no a huge loss. But if it goes to 1000$/BTC then 1.1 BTC winning bid is enough... As you correctly say, its a bit pointless to battle until reaching the reserve BTC equivalent, but we thought that bidders would acknowledge that... |

I just wonder why you started at 1 coin if this is not enough to cover costs? just asking for clarity  To simplify: The minimum that you have to pay in order to win one of these coins is the equivalent of $1050.
