241  Local / India / Re: ICICI Bank closing accounts involved in bitcoin trading? on: February 16, 2018, 04:50:36 PM
It's not new, and not related to bitcoin. In FEMA rule you can't use your card directly to any exchange outside India for trading. You are lucky, they are just closing account, otherwise you did broke rules and Police can come to your home.
Do u mean sending money to fully compliant Japanese exchanges from India and receiving from them using SWIFT code is illegal?

Yes. Totally. Many banks have written it in fine print.

Can u provide some authentic link to substantiate your claim?

Search 'Victor Beckham' in Security Log: https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php ( http://archive.is/FhbCt )
- January 08, 2018, 11:34:38 PM - Victor Beckham - password changed
- December 26, 2017, 09:56:49 PM - Victor Beckham - password reset via email
Because of this^^, it appears legitimate to me, though I doubt this account will ever be recovered, like many others. Everyday we are witnessing so many complaints of stolen accounts. How does these thefts are taking place and what an account owner can do to prevent it in the first place? I understand, that BitcoinTalk DB is out in the public, but are not the passwords stored in hashed format?
244  Local / India / Re: How to sell BTC without Indian Exchanges on: January 21, 2018, 09:52:37 PM
I have traded two times from this site worth 0.05 Eth and Received funds in paytm wallet
there is no chat system where i can contact the seller on the chat
Without a chat system, how did u inform the buyer that u'll receive funds in PayTM and how did u communicate your PayTM wallet details to him/her?

Hello All friends,

What is the way to sell BTC without going through any indian exchange.

thanks.

U may buy & sell bitcoins online, i.e. using IMPS/NEFT/RTGS, with Indians within India on https://localbitcoins.com.

Not just online but you can also sell them for cash using localbitcoins and dealing with the users directly by meeting them.

Dont exchange Crypto for Cash. We have already seen many people to be in deep trouble for doing this. Exchange online to have a track of your transactions and pay proper tax on your profit. Play safe.

Banks suspending accounts of private limited companies appear to be serious issue. May I expect Benson, Sathvik & Mahin to comment on this regarding their respective companies?

Which block explorer allows to check for BTG balance on legacy bitcoin address?

https://btgexplorer.com is the one you want.

Is it the only block explorer to check legacy address balances?

Hey guys you think of lowering the cashout fees in the near future? 50k satoshis is to much for me right now...

Despite this, i love Bitdice, Definitely the fairest site online, Cheesy Cheesy Grin Grin

I don't think they should do that, cause 50k satoshi's is really a decent payout, i think it's more on other site's, plus they bear the feed for sending so I don't see they should reduce, yes you're right they are simply the best. Also for all a important update Bitcoin2x stands cancelled, so people do not post here asking Alex for those coins. I am very happy that it got cancelled.
I think he's talking about transaction fee(which atm is 50k sats),  minimum withdrawal amount is 2 mBTC. i mean they could improve the fee system a bit, allow users to input their own or have an options like low, medium or high fees.
I tried a transaction yesterday and it was asking for $7 alone for a regular transaction. it seems that the miners have abandoned bitcoin and they are all moving towards bitcoin cash and now there are a lot of unconfirmed transactions.
Yeah, there's a huge backlog of unconfirmed transactions on bitcoin network, i hope miners get back to bitcoin mining soon. tx fee is much higher today! i'm going to use LTC for few days i guess.

Use https://pushtx.btc.com/#/ and pay with Bitcoin Cash for faster confirmation. Wink
