I haven't followed Gulden closely since the reward change, did any new development come for Gulden in 2021? Is Malcolm still with the team?
My friend and I sold out, both of us made a loss on this coin. We don't see how this coin will go places when they can't give attention to one coin but have two coins they must make work. I gave this coin a long time to prove itself but no drive from the people running the coin. I only see the community doing work which doesn't help because they have to use their own money. When I invest in other coins the leaders of those coins make it all happen and I can sit back and enjoy the ride as I have my own work to do. I made a lot of money off fluffy coin end of last year so selling this coin for a loss doesn't hurt. |

What about the money raised for the bitvavo funding going towards Rijk on condition he quits his job and makes his hobby Gulden, his job. It will be beautiful to have his talent on Gulden without other distractions.
My friend has purchased some Gulden, and more to come because of the cheap price.

You can't compare someone like Rijk who has a full time job to other founders who can work on their projects full time. Bitvavo listing will change the course for Gulden and with a higher stable price Rijk can quit his job and put effort into Gulden.
What price is needed for Rijk to quit his job and put 100% effort into Gulden? Don't quote me but from what I remember on slack when the reward change was discussed. +- €0.04c and the development team can be permanently on Gulden, including Rijk. https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/gulden/eur Current rate is 0.014, a stable price of 2.8 times more then current price and the outlook for Gulden changes drastically. I would like to see Rijk given the chance to go conferences, promote gulden on podcasts, popular youtube channels etc. I personally think €0.04c is not a unrealistic stable price, from my own experience working 48 hours a week it would be hard to compete with coins where the founders have the financial resources to work on their coins 24/7. Respect to Rijk for having full time employment and working on Gulden in his free time. |

Trying to convince one of my friends who is a early cardano adopter to buy some Gulden. At least 200k, crypto market is volatile and Gulden generally has a stable price.

Market is starting to feel the real pressure of the 160 reward rate. The drop can't come soon enough.
Reward change on the 1st July with a bitvavo listing will be a game changer. Head for the stars, not the moon. Block 1400000 is on the 1st July? Planning to buy another 50000 if that is true, thought we had more time. |

One more dump to 70 and I will have 200k Gulden I want for long term  . To Witness will it be better to put 200k into 1 Witness or split them into 2 or 3 witnesses for more earning potential? Guess who has slightly over 200k NLG!!! Will a 10 year old laptop be ok to witness with? Windows 7 and leave it running permanently. My friend will also be buying up 1 million NLG slowly when it goes under 2c. Both of us and few other contacts are in it for the long haul. |

Its good I made the effort to get signed up to bittrex, my 76sat purchases got removed and the price already recovered. Coins removed off exchange and working out my witness plan for next 2 years  |

Well the dev trough at 3c earns 85k in 2 months, at 6c it's 170k. I would expect that GAB to provide the remaining 30k for bitvavo.
42.5k a month is gg, at 6c 85k is super gg. I earn a good income for my age, slighly under 4k as a mechanical engineer, most of my friends are ranging from 2.5 to 3.5k a month. |

My 1 friend who purchased late last month is willing to buy over 1 million coins at 1c. Gulden will get some support at this price, also planning to buy more  So bad so so bad!!! We almost purchased more when the price went below 2c. Please whales dump one more time before the reward changes. Give a couple brothers a chance to get in low. You could get lucky with bitcoin prices collapsing and using fiat to buy at $1-2c Given the changes to the rewards, we will start picking up between €1.5-2.5c. |

The reward halving is going to help Gulden maintain a good price in the next bear market. Bitvavo will also help.
Both will (in theory) result in an increase of the price. First thing up is the reward reduction of around 25%. If the current demand remains the same, the price should in theory increase from the moment on this reward reduction takes place. The first reward halving is after that a couple years away from now, but definitely something to look forward to. Also I believe the demand for Gulden will steadily grow over the upcoming months/years. So I think the first reward reduction of around 25% will have a bigger impact than the market currently is showing. Is the reward reduction of 25% confirmed? |

I will donate once confirmation on the reward changes are in. I don't want to risk too much like the developers rightfully don't want to risk putting the blockchain in a vulnerable position.
