Hi BillyBurns, you can see stats here: http://eeeth.com/mpstats/

You can also view per app stats here: https://dicesites.com/moneypot

what is different about 2.0 of Moneypot.

Will casinos be able to offers games like Blackjack now or still just dice(type) only.

Short answer: A lot. We will be releasing more information on this in the coming days.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BetKing.io ICO - Bitcoin Gambling website on: November 30, 2016, 08:02:36 PM
To clear things up, of course there will be no escrow. It is not needed at all in this case. This is not a new untrusted player in the game.

That's all existing bankroll investors divested now and I just divested 5000 Bitcoin which is much more than I'm trying to raise here Wink

Smart decision. I think a lot of the people clamoring for escrow either are sig spammers or have no idea what BetKing is. Adding an escrow agent would be a negative in my opinion, there is no added value to having an escrow despite adding a third party risk and an unnecessary expense. If you think this ICO needs escrow, you probably do not know what BetKing is: in that case you shouldn't invest. Invest in what you know. Dean literally just let 5k BTC leave his site today (2.5x what he is trying to raise in this ICO).

Disclaimer: I will personally not be investing in this ICO, but I trust Dean.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BetKing.io ICO - Bitcoin Gambling website on: November 30, 2016, 06:05:27 PM
Why there's no escrow for this ICO?

You invest in the website, this website runs for year, and this project is hosted by the owner of website itself, therefore i guess no escrow needed maybe

I think it's also a coin
Quote
BetKing will create 100,000,000 tokens (100 million) to represent 100% shares of BetKing.

Escrow is the only protection against scam, so any ICO without escrow is just more risky.

But the difference here is that in the first place, a lot of people are investing in betking site previously with up to 4000 btc. So in this case, betking is quite confidence that he is able to rise a significant amount without any escrow as he already have proven that he has handle the btc well for yrs.

Well, there's no evidence for anything published in the ANN, so better safe than sorry.
Web archive has no copy before 2016, so there's no evidence the site was launched in 2013
https://web.archive.org/web/20130101000000*/http://betking.io
If you go to dicesites.com and press the date then you get the history:
Apr '13: pocketrocketscasino.eu
Jan '14: Invest in casino
Feb '14: Dice game
May '14: prcdice.eu domain
Jan '15: back to pocketrocketscasino.eu
Nov '15: betking.io domain

Sorry, but my confidence is very limited if there's no Escrow.
There're too many changes, and ambiguous information, ie. pocketrocketscasino.eu launched in Apr 2013 but first snapshot in webarchive is March 2014
https://web.archive.org/web/20140101000000*/http://pocketrocketscasino.eu

and first snapshot of dicesites.com is Nov 2014
https://web.archive.org/web/20141113082619/http://dicesites.com/

Without Escrow this ICO is just too risky (at least for me)

Dean's site has been a major player in the Bitcoin gambling sphere for a few years now. Right now Dean is holding thousands of BTC of customer funds without escrow. Escrow is absolutely not needed in this case.
144  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: DicePalace.com ® | Crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice Project | Licensed casino (soon) on: November 30, 2016, 05:40:28 AM
FEATURES:
-Registred gambling license from CostaRica (coming soon)
-100% Anonymous playing
How this two will work together i mean if you have to run your casino under gambling license you also have to have proper record of your players so how you gonna allow your players to play anonymously?

All other features you have listed are in almost every bitcoin casino these days and also 1% houseedge is in most of them. However good luck better you will have probably fair and highly secure platform.

TurboBet option = ≈300 bets per second
Are you sure your server gonna handle turbo/auto bet on this speed ? 300 bets per second sound too high to be handled.

Again, the license will be purchase if we can keep the anonymous side of our site.
300 bets per seconds is already a feature of bitsler.
Please also note that many other features are present and unique but are not listed above in order not to be copied before the release of our site.

Left you a negative. There are no gaming licenses (as I stated earlier) available in Costa Rica. And you cannot have a license and be anonymous, that ruins the whole point of having a license, and no jurisdiction would grant that.

Still waiting on answer as to when we can see v2.0?

The answer is 'Soon'.

It's being worked upon, but we're not going to rush it before it's ready.  Therefore giving any type of set date would just be foolish.

Yeah, I agree. Everybody would rather see a complete product instead of something rushed that will have a lot to work on even after the launch. Looking forward to the release though.

Ok, but this is two deadlines missed though...soon people are just going to assume nothing is ever going to happen

We set 1 deadline in the past, and we missed that due to changing our lead developer and rebuilding from scratch essentially. We will be live soon, I don't want to say an exact date to avoid missing a deadline again, but assuming all runs well... You won't even need to wait for 2017 to see 2.0. We will be announcing more on this in the near future. We appreciate everyone's patience with this.

Please refrain from discussing non MoneyPot sites on our thread. Negative trust will be left on accounts that promote foreign sites (from here on out).

What if it's just general discussion and not out of context? I understand what the user above said was pretty much advertising though but in general I'm sure there's loads of cases where other sites could be mentioned as a part of the discussion.

The user above could have made a gambling discussion thread instead.

Basically, just don't advertise non MoneyPot related sites in this thread, there is a time and place for everything Wink

Are you sure you will be licensed in Costa Rica? Because there are no gaming licenses in Costa Rica, the casinos that operate there are operating under normal business licenses. Big misconception.

Anyways, you are offering absolutely nothing unique in a already crowded industry, and probably (maybe not, but most likely) trying to raise at a ridiculous valuation (think: vDice, LIR, GBT etc etc etc).

They called it variance months ago when it stopped making a Profit, even before the strange jackpot wins.
Make what you want from it. http://eeeth.com/mpstats

Make what you want of this user's post history on MoneyPot's thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=827689;sa=showPosts

I love moneypot but it just seems that a lot of People here would defend anything that happens which is just insane

thinking of moving my investment here from betking but its funny that bets like this keep happening https://www.moneypot.com/bets/663449364

100 bits into a bitcoin?  and jackpots keep hitting.

how am i supposed to make money here?

Hi Ggddtt,

The house edge on the specific bet you mentioned is 1% (same as the house edge on Bet King). We routinely handle close to 3 million bets a day, some longshot bets are bound to hit due to the sheer quantity of them we handle.

Also, the user that hit that jackpot (public stats: https://www.moneypot.com/users/vinsin) is still net negative across the site.

153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] BetBase SHARES | Invest in Bitcoin gambling on: November 23, 2016, 05:26:29 PM
Disclaimer: I am a part owner of MoneyPot, which this product would be a competitor with.

That said, I would not do another project with Johnny. I gave him work a few months ago to build a site using MoneyPot's API (wagecoins.com), and not only did he completely whiff the timeline (a little over a week turned into multiple months), but he completely messed up one of the key features (rakeback function) to the point another developer had to be brought in.

I will ask David (the client in this case, owner of wagecoins) to leave a review here as well.

154  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎮🎮 Provably.io | Win an Xbox One | Premium Bitcoin Dice | Powered by MoneyPot 🎮🎮 on: November 19, 2016, 05:12:42 AM
I checked leader boards and I see that 1bigdaddy already wagered 5.62 BTC - so I guess XBOX will go to him.
This is the problem for me with 'top the leaderboards to win' type of promotions - only whales will get it and richer will get richer in the end.

I would love to see some other type of promos, not necessarily based on the idea that richer takes it all.

"rich get richer" they typically lose more, so not sure about that logic ;P
155  Economy / Gambling / Re: CAN YOU LIST LEGIT BITCOIN CASINO TO INVEST MY BITCOIN on: November 17, 2016, 02:52:46 AM
You shouldn't be investing in any bankroll, there is risk with all casino investments. There is a thing called variance. MoneyPot is still well into the positives for bankroll investors (we are actually just a little bit below what our EV is based on volume due to some recent big wins). You probably just invested at an unfortunate time (right before some of the recent big wins).

So very dishonest  http://imgur.com/a/OGvFH

Anyone investor who invested after April 28, 2016 is currently nursing a loss. That's over six months.

It may well not be your fault and real variance but you shouldn't try to dismiss this person like his loss was an anomaly. The site profits got 5 x decimated, and have not even begun to recover.

Actually, it was nonstop rising profit until mid July. And it is an anomaly, the expected value the past few months hasn't changed.
156  Economy / Gambling / Re: CAN YOU LIST LEGIT BITCOIN CASINO TO INVEST MY BITCOIN on: November 17, 2016, 12:48:18 AM
I invest in crypto-games and moneypot Smiley
Dont invest to moneypot..
I tried it. Dont receive profit because this is risk.

I got some Janus token on TVE.How much minimum funding require during the ICO for a successful launch?Any refund policy that you want to share with us?

I asked the same question. Bjorn said that while they don't have a set amount yet for what would be the minimum, it would most likely be around 50BTC
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest Bitcoin Winners 2016 on: November 16, 2016, 11:32:55 PM
The problem with these "LARGEST WINNERS" is that most are usually sometimes publicity attempts to make the site gain popularity. Most of these betters never come public and its impossible to know whether its the admit betting or an actual gambler.
You do realize that if it was found out that Moneypot's admins rigged the Dust Lottery hit, or that SafeDice's owners rigged the 128 BTC hit, or other crowdfunded large wins were rigged to win by the admins, 99% of investors would divest, right? Their entire business would be screwed and their long term profit site just died because the owner wanted some short term profit and advertising?

Here is a list of BIG wins that took place on www.bitcoinbetting.website, a blockchain based gambling game offering 0% house edge...
Seems to be more advertising your site than actually caring about this. Also, 1 BTC wins pretty much happen every day at large sites so it isn't impressive.

bitcoinvideocasino wins are almost certainly faked. Look at their biggest winner tabs. If anyone believes that they are paying out thousands of Bitcoin a year just off slot jackpots you probably believe that BetSoft also pays out massive slot jackpots (i.e. high chance you don't actually gamble and are in a signature campaign).

For the largest Bitcoin wins, Bet King will certainly have the largest plays. The only other site that used to have bets of those size (hundreds of Bitcoin at a time) was Just-Dice, which hasn't accepted Bitcoin bets in sometime.

SafeDice had one big win wipe out their entire bankroll, and MoneyPot has had several large winners over the past year. BitDice to my knowledge has not had any big winners (though they have had big losers) for a long time. I don't follow Crypto-Games that much but they recently had a big ETH winner.

There was an user who won 500+ on Bitdice in 2015.

Also it's an interesting point what you said about bitcoinvideocasino. The wins there seem to be quite large and now that I think of it I'm starting to question it a bit too. Would love to see some further proof. Investment based sites are and have to be so much more transparent which makes stuff easier to believe.

We're almost out of 2016 which is why I didn't mention that.. The OP is asking for the biggest winners of 2016 Wink

And I would be willing to bet a significant sum that the jackpots on bitcoinvideocasino are won by themselves as a way to promote their site. They are one of the smaller sites out there (usually ~10 players online at any given time betting pretty insignificant amounts), yet they claim to be paying out amounts that no one in the industry pays out on a single bet. Its ludicrous.
160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: November 16, 2016, 11:26:00 PM
I don't follow Waves very closely, but when is the token creation and exchange going to be live? I thought those features were supposed to go live sometime between August - October (and its now mid November).

Thank you.
