And teach them how to prevent woman from getting pregnant after having three babies. By means of withdrawal or pills.
A pseudo-contraception method "withdrawal" is a fallacy and not effective. Don't spread misleading information.

For people who insist on birth control from government: if people don't like it, they can destroy this govt and birth rates will go higher even faster.
2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: August 30, 2017, 02:22:03 AM
Sadly and strange to see so many statists on this forum!

Population growth control is a stupid and dangerous idea, because:

1. Geniuses born randomly and constitute some fixed percent of population. More people in the country = more talents = better economy = better military and chances to survive global competition in long run.
If some fascist govt will sterilize all poor people and allow to procreate only prosperous, number of geniuses won't increase.

2. China have tried One Child Policy and refused it few years ago due to ageing and gender disparity.

You can always use VPN if your provider blocks something.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Musk has called the greatest threat to human civilization on: July 18, 2017, 01:09:05 AM
Seems than Elon Musk is a very smart libertarian, who offered an unusual idea how to hiddenly destroy U.S. government!

Lets assume US govt will accept his idea and restrict AI research. China and EU will take lead in the AI, then use it do disintegrate United States (main economic competitor for them). Damage to US economy will be so big that it likely will repeat USSR fate!
5  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [Dailybitcoins.org] Bitcoin faucet, sponsored by ads on: July 16, 2017, 01:27:52 AM
Are you going to pay out your users, since you didn't give them a chance to cashout?
Payments we have made a month ago still not confirmed. Bitcoin network is overloaded now and you need to add prohibitive transaction fee to make this transaction confirmed.
Wait/pray for SegWit activation which will make possible developing Lightning Network.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RSK (Rootstock) will burst Ethereum bubble on: June 14, 2017, 04:37:20 PM
So rootstock is only a smartcontract platform that uses 2-way peg. It means they will use BTC as a medium for transactions? How this 2-way peg resolve the scalability when BTC already has the problem?
Yes, RSK will use Bitcoin. RSK transactions will be performed on Rootstock's blockchain, so they won't bloat Bitcoin blockchain.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / RSK (Rootstock) will burst Ethereum bubble on: June 14, 2017, 03:56:27 AM
Ethereum investors who think ETH marketcap will soon overtake Bitcoin should learn about RSK and stop praying on Vitalik!

Rootstock (rsk.co) is smart contract platform, compatible with Ethereum, but uses 2-way peg to Bitcoin and offers better scalability.
It already has working testnet, which now available on easy to use MyEtherWallet. I think main net will be launched this year.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is now going to take the crown, the flippening on: June 14, 2017, 03:45:56 AM
I can't find much information about RSK. Is there an announcement thread in the forum? I fail to find it too. It is not on coinmarketcap means it is not available now, when will it?
http://www.rsk.co/

RSK is 2-way pegged to Bitcoin, therefore has no own token.

So what of the drugs that save lives and take decades and billions of dollars to develop? Where's the incentive for anyone or anything to take the long view and do all that work for zero return?
Not so long ago governments financed fundamental research. If we will kick out market fundamentalists from the power, a tax increase for the corporations will be enough to fund these developments.

Similarly there's no way I'd ever bother making a film or writing a book if entitled little shits decided my work had no value and just nicked it. I'll go and do something that will reward for me for my time.
For movies, music and books crowdfunding model can be used. You have some idea about good movie? People like it and want to watch, movie theaters want to make profit from showing it. Anyone will know that if requested amount won't be collected, there won't be this movie at all. So people who are interested in this film will gladly make a voluntary contribution to the film maker. Of course this model fill work if no state-enforced (=imposed by corporations) copyright exist.

I think it is time to show protest against greedy corporations and IP laws they have lobbied by stopping buying movies, music and software! You can download Torrents anonymously through credible VPN like Mullvad or AirVPN, corporations won't be able to stop you and drop their greed finally!
14  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VOTE * Do you believe in "Intellectual Property" laws? on: May 12, 2017, 01:11:34 AM
Corporations have lobbied IP laws to protect their monopolies and stiff real innovations!

You can incentivize creativity with another means - state funding, crowdfunding, donations, advertising, support etc.
15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Elon Musk told what is "metro" for cars on: May 07, 2017, 03:31:45 PM
IMHO our innovators should be focusing on improving public transport. This is why I prefer that people live in cities rather than suburbs. You can go around without having to use your car. In the better designed cities, it's even possible to just ride a bike or walk to work.
Totally agree! American city planning is full shit, suburbs waste a lot of energy and people spend many hours in traffic jams. You must learn from Europe how to build good cities!
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary figured out how to Trump revenge for the defeat. on: May 07, 2017, 12:15:18 AM
Hillary and Kim Jong Un are planning something but I believe Trump is always one step ahead of them. Those crooks will end up in jail.
You just understand how much it will cost to steal Kim Jong Un from North Korea and imprison him in the US?! NK have 25 million zombies ready to sacrifice life to free their supreme leader!
17  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary figured out how to Trump revenge for the defeat. on: May 06, 2017, 10:35:35 PM
I'll address the last point first because it's so critical. WE DONT NOT WANT CALIFORNIA TO SECEDE FROM THE UNION. They pretty much are the US GDP, our produce and tech products.
But if California votes for secession, you must accept it. Or join UK again to remove illegal secession precedent.

As a moderate/progressive, although the thought of dropping some of the less productive (economically and sociopolitically speaking) makes me salivate. But, in the interest of representing the entire constituency, we have to offer equal representation despite contribution. If we are a community of equals, let all voices ring at the same volume. Representing only one class of citizen, as least as far as political ideology is concern, breeds the path for taxation without representation. And as history has proven, shit gets burned down when we get there.
I didn't told to drop them. I mean let them go if they wish, the same as UK accepted US declaration of independence.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary figured out how to Trump revenge for the defeat. on: May 06, 2017, 08:47:14 PM
What you are right of course, but the fact is that if the electoral system will work as you say, a few cities will make the decision for all of America. It's not quite right. As a financial center like new York can solve the problems of farmers of Texas? Therefore, the vote of a simple majority does not reflect the mood in society.
More honest would be votes based on GDP share. In this case progressive areas, consisting mostly of Silicon Valley, New York and Boston and will decide all US politics and leave no place for insane morons, who impose stupid legislation on creative people who contribute mostly in US prosperity.

If Texas don't like, I think it can secede from the US, just like US seceded from the UK. According to the precedent legal system (common law) spirit, it must be absolutely legal.
19  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Hillary figured out how to Trump revenge for the defeat. on: May 06, 2017, 05:10:12 PM
if the election was conducted based on the popular votes, then the Republican voters in deep blue states such as California and Maryland would have come out to vote rather than sitting at home.
It is just your opinion. No one knows how it would be.

Not how the system is setup in america. For better or worse. And the democrats had many opportunities to attack the electoral college if they wanted and call for reforms. Lost twice because of it this century alone so they should. But they did nothing about it.
I said about legality, not that Trump is defacto president (you cannot do anything with it).
Honestly, Electoral College, as well as Congress, Senate, Supreme Court and other U.S. federal government institutions are absolutely illegal. America had to follow all legal procedures to secede from the United Kingdom, which it hadn't (just self-proclaimed), so U.S. govt no more legal than L/DNR in the Ukraine. Only because US have powerful military forces other countries acknowledge US govt as legal and count L/DNR "illegal separatists".

Imagine what we have achieved if 200 countries worked together as one body.
High concentration of resources in the single project is very bad idea. Have you ever heard about risk management?
