Well, I am mining using the GUIminer, using deepbit, and the GUIminer interface shows that I have got about 64 MHash/s, but strangely, the deepbit interface, the website, says that my avg speed is 82 MHash/s.

How is this possible? Which is right?

I will so pool mining.

However, there are a lot of different pools I can join. Is there any difference?
Does it matter which I join?

So, I am totaly new to this, and would like to try out mining of bitcoins, so, I just dont know what method is best for me.

I have a Nvidia GTX 460, and an intel Core Quad procesor.
Nothing special :/

So, should I try mining solo? or pool mining? if pool mining, how to do it? which pool is best?

Also, how much bitcoin can I expect to make?

And, can I do it on windows 7 which is 64bit?
Or do I need linux?

Thanks.

15  Other / Beginners & Help / Where can I buy some very small amount of bitcoin with my paypal? on: July 03, 2011, 05:25:36 PM
Hello everyone,
I have been seeing bitcoins everywhere on the net for some time now and decided to check it out how it works.

So, now I just made an account at Mt Gox, and will use it as my eWallet for bitcoins.
Now I just need to get hold of some tiny amount, just so that I can practice transactions and stuff like that.

If you know any place where I could buy very small amounts of it, with PayPal, please tell me.

Thank you for your time
