1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW / Josh Garza discussion Paycoin XPY xpy.io ION ionomy. ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: November 09, 2023, 12:57:45 PM
I've been defrauded by this sh!t and I've followed this thread for the longest time I can remember since getting caught up with hashlets as I wouldn't invest on higher costing REAL miners then. I just had some thoughts on the current new run of Josh AKA Jaden's new con...

I think what is being missed is Josh found a new financier in his time in jail and worked out a new plan, reverting to his first scam of his earlier "Great Auk Wireless.", obviously, he strung Uncle Stu into it, and he's paying a dear price for his capriciousness. However, this time, he's found a new investor, maybe during his economic crimes jail times, which is not the same ar$e pounding jail time we all expected it to be.

Here's my theory: the financier is dodgy and well-connected in political circles, as all of them are. As is the opposing financiers, who found a weak link to kill the financier who was funding this sociopath idiot. This got the AG Paxton in trouble (with the connections of the opposers), and while it passed the impeachment, the new players have been exposed, which should indicate how thick the crime our Homero is playing. Read this https://www.texastribune.org/2023/11/08/nate-paul-indictment-ken-paxton/. Is Nate Paul his actual financier, or are there more dodgier ones hiding who caused the impeachment? Things to think about...

My take is, the pattern is similar, and I have seen that he's probably moved to new play as usual under simpliunlimited.com:

However, the things that got me thinking are the following
  • 1. Use influencers and fund them to get the product popular.
  • 2. This needs deep funding, which is not seen in the case of his previous scam. He just rode the wave at its peak and then took it from there.
  • 3. There was a coordinated attempt at bolstering and guiding this venture based on the fraudulent scheme our sociopath forever con had in mind that the financier (whom I suspect is a fraud con mafia sort person themselves finding means to launder and fuel more growth thru other conmen).
  • 4. Using criminal lawyers for cease and desist emails (incorrect representation, as I saw in one of the YouTube videos by RVmiles) is probably a huge indicator. Most investors don't have criminal lawyers on payroll, only the wrong/mafia ones do, and extending them to their clients is normal. Can someone check on Cynthia Orr or whoever replied to that email from the rvmiles video? https://youtu.be/O7wJymmD3NQ?si=rjxkb1f4HaJUBWpb&t=933

I hope my inputs bring some more insight into this sociopath, who should have been banned from any business leadership role in whatsoever form, not sure if it is the legal system at fault or just the ability of a sociopath con to continue his/her con using different platforms. I'll keep tracking and will share what I think here as always.

p.s: I wrote off my losses of a few hundred of $$, knowing it would be hard to see them back, and hey, what interest? What would it mean today if I had invested those in legit crypto? It would have been 10/100k's, really. Oh, yeah, I did recoup it as well, but I want that guy seeing the real prison life. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Hey samiam666, where are you? You said we made the SEC investigations up. Are you afraid to post here now, because everyone can see what a stupid fucking asshole you are?

It might seem samiam666 was either Carlos himself practising here or someone training Carlos to play dumbshit in SEC investigation using this thread, therein invoking the 5th automatically. But what the dumbshit TIT fucker doesn't know is that once court is involved, he will go to can to repeat that shit drama.

Is anything ever going to happen with this? I am starting to wonder if there is or ever was a criminal investigation going on. Starting to look like Josh is just going to skip away Scott-free(aside from a few civil suits which he can just completely ignore).

nothing in the news so far regarding criminal charges. garza is missing in action too...

Soon TM

But seriously, with the amount of lies this guy has told and scams he has run, it would be a miracle if nothing came of it.   There are quite a few alphabet agencies with their name on his list if I had to guess.
Stuart will never see a day in jail, neither will HJG. You are all living in a fantasy world.

hey asshole, you forgot the "doesn't deserve a reply" and some other bullshit about "merit" (boy scout badges ?, lol)
My apology shitwad. Your response does not merit a reply.
Making this a bit better readable, considering the trouble samiam goes through, following english...

Can anyone verify if he is in Harker Heights, Texas?
I can! (but I wont) Today is "Independence Day". Free from England's oppression only to create our own. We are free to torment and hound people? No repercussions? Chase them, attack them anonymously? Is this the country we've aspired to be? A place where the DHS can look into everything we write. Every email we send? You think the things you say are FREE SPEECH?!

This is the USA! NOTHING is free.

Wow. Just. Wow.

You stole millions of dollars from people, intentionally misleading them into believing that XPY was something other than just a proof-of-stake clone coin, repeating over and over again promise after promise of major brand collaborations and even telling your Indian friend-with-banking-difficulties that Cantor Fitzgerald were going to launch their own exchange with XPY as a base currency, encouraging more money to be 'invested' and then . . .it all turned out to be the lies we knew they were.

To complain that the people you ripped off and those in the cryptocurrency field who despise fraudsters who perpetrate these scams and further damage a burgeoning industry, are 'opressing', 'tormenting' and 'hounding' you while you run about the place living large and posting 'golly-gee we're so awesome!' social media updates persistently, is just monumentally outrageous an insult to your victims.

Your arrogant stupidity is breathtaking.

What I think is more funny is nobody believes in Garza anymore not even his direhards... Garza is so dumb coming here as samiam666 pretending he's not and trying to defend his alter ego as some benevolent being. haha what a dick, sorry I meant what a brilliant "cock" Smiley.

Cup his balls and give him your money

haha that cracked me up. But he doesn't need money, he actually needs dick now. Looking for as to when he gets some brother love in the pound!!

Is Josh Garza still AWOL?

Apparently MrCEO recently posted this after a 4-day absence:

at this point I'm not sure any post is real from Mister CEO or anyone related to this fiasco

^You spoke my mind!! Given the nature of verbal diarrhea "Reak" suffers from, this doesn't look like him, rather some of his paid shill admin must have logged in to pretend he's around.

Gawtards have learned nothing

Is scrypt.cc back?

Yep but the payouts are more than halved because they had to move to their "back up data center"  Cheesy  so where the ROI was 2 months its like 5+ months.  The ponzi is breathing its last breaths they'll try and suck a few more in before it goes tits up.

I'm thinking that this surely seems like where Ganza is these days:

2. Vik has vetted them that they are not a Ponzi
3. Get VIP shares, get rich

Sometimes, I wonder if this GAW saga is still being orchestrated, and all this drama around back-stabbing, TeamXPY et al is just a diversion while the cogs keep turning to produce a far larger scam. I just can't get to trust any of the employee of GAW saga, ex or not.

An elaborate scam...

The best part of the OP on that thread is the last edit info by MrCEO lmao, "CPIGROUP posted 16 days ago , last edited by MrCEO 5 days ago"

The CPIG posting account is clearly just another account of MrCEO aka Homero aka Garbozo the Clown. Same typos, using fee instead of free etc.

The "posted", "last edited" is all whack out of order all across board at HT, it's meaningless to even go by it. Go check the messaih's user page - says he was online last 11 months ago...

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Minera] Your next mining dashboard is here. on: June 09, 2014, 03:52:15 AM
There are some issues with the feature of dynamically selecting a pool. Basically I switched pools the other day, and I did it from the dashboard instead of changing the order in the pool in the settings and restarting.

The first issue was that I had to click the "Select This" button twice. The first time didn't seem to do anything. Or at least it didn't show any differences in the pool selection in the dashboard.

The second issue is that last night the pool that I dynamically selected must have had a connectivity problem. When I woke up this morning, the rig had switched back to the first pool in my settings, not the one that I had dynamically selected.

Already reported the first issue in the thread, I confirm it's really difficult to select a new pool.

The second issue... I don't think it's really an issue, I think it's the default behavior, and I find it better to be like this Smiley But it would be nice if we could opt for what we want.

The first one I have to reproduce that (Browser? Can you look at the cpuminer log when you click to see if something happens?)

The second one is simple, the problem is: I don't overwrite the settings when switching a pool from the dashboard, it's completely on-the-fly and not permanent, it just sends the command to cpuminer without saving anything. But of course, if you prefer and you think it's better I can easily add the save too.

For who asked /minera-latest-img-zip]Latest Minera image for RPi is here

(Or just click my signature and scroll down the page)

EDIT: As understood from the minerd code, the pool 0 (main pool) will be automatically switched back to if there is any connectivity issue with the dynamically switched pool. Can you check if there was any connectivity issue with the switched pool?

I actually went back after I took that picture and slid a little heatshrink over the resistor/wire to insulate it better.  I'd highly recommend doing this if you go that route as it will prevent any accidental shorts against the inside heatsink.  Also, just for reference the resistors I used were mostly 39 Ohms.  I may have had a couple 45Ohm in the mix, but it lowers the fan speed enough that it still blows a good amount of air but isn't as annoyingly loud as the straight 12v.

Heatshrink is a good idea to insulate that hazard waiting to happen, I had thought of placing a heatshrink on the axial resistor (VMOD3) but decided against for now.

As for the fan ripping away, I have stowed them miners away in a ventilated cabinet which takes away some of the noise. Power wise there's not a lot saving from the slower fan, so since the noise factor is reduced, I don't mind them running full speed for now. I was planning to put a 39ohm too after seeing yours but a 1/2w with the heatshrink, but I guess I will let the fan blow full speed until I figure a heatsink for the MOSFET's. I dug out some TO-220 sleek heatsinks, will see if it will work, or will order some like chanbergs (saw some on Amazon sold by cosmos in a bag of 20s).

BTW, did you use adhesive thermal paste or thermal pad to stick the modded heatsinks over the MOSFETs?

I actually just used a very small dab of Arctive Ceramique and let it set.  Once it's been run through a cycle of hot/cold it seems to hold very good.  I have the same Ceramique that has been holding a heatsink on the cpu of a lan card for years, the lan card stands vertical and even without glue the Ceramique holds the heatsink on it.

Arctic Ceramic twin tube adhesive was what I was eyeing too :-) Thanks for sharing the info!
