2 days ago, I sent coins from wallet (version 1.0.1 windows wallet) to bittrex, and the coins seem to have gotten lost in transit. I have searched the block explorer a number of ways, and find no trace of the transaction. I have tried these: [1] search via transaction ID [2] search via address (sending) [3] search via address (destination) as far as the block explorer is concerned, my originating address still contains the coins (it is still reflected as positive balance) I'm doing a re-download of the blockchain right now, hopefuly this fixes it, but i won't know until download is finished in 1+ days Meantime, I would like to ask for help recovering the coins -- any ideas and suggestions how to proceed? Much thanks in advance!

Because rewards are low, its legit ? Hell all coins are scams at worst, PnD's at best, so... why not?

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know you should keep your eyes open concerning Carsen's new Coin "CK", he's now totally nuts, a big premine and a 1 % per block auto-donation to his wallet address for every mined block. if you've got burned by one of his many bad clones, the last one was Onyx, don't invest too much in this one as he'll most likely dump everything as soon as it hits another exchanges. Read more here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=701484.0He's deleting my posts in his thread (of course its a self-moderated topic), so i've started this one here. I'm not really surprised. From what I gather, Carsen just likes launching cryptos. Tries out different iterations process. And doesn't take any of his own coins seriously, so none of us should either.

Guys, u should be doing this anyway: underclock, undervolt, find your best ratio for
coin yield ------------ watts usage
for ur mining rigs. in simple terms, make ur miner profitable. Else if its not profitable, for ex. u've already optimized and still no profits? then stop mining
moreover, at any time if it makes more sense to buy the coin than mine it, then buy it by all means. u support the coin price to go up therefore letting u sell at higher price and then u gain profit thru trading. coz mining at a loss, means u basically rely on trading gains anyway. savvy?
i think this is the best way to make profits. forget about asking claymore to decrease commission, it wont help in the long run. its just like asking pool to cut their pool fee, or exchange to cut their trading commissions -- short term solutions that wont mean squat in the long term. i hope this is clear enough, no need to elab further
cheers!

Hi Claymore, THanks for the update. FIne work. Its great that u can regularly improve the efficiency and therefore profitability of ur miner. Its my misfortune to live in a place where power costs 0.30 per KWH, which yields no profits for XMR mining
2020 h/s @ 550w gives me less than 2 usd profit per day at current difficulty and market price
I guess everybody else who is mining XMR has lower electricity cost than I do, or, has better efficiency than I do, or both.
But in case there are among you who don't have idea re ur miner's profitability, I strongly urge u to find out. It might actualy be more economically sensible for u to buy XMR than mine/sell it. XD
(to elaborate: if u r mining at a loss, then presumably u are mining to hold and sell at a later date when price improves, thereby delivering profit to ur mining operation. but u can simply buy XMR and hold that instead of mining it. in so doing, u provide buy pressure on the coin which can actually cause the price to increase)
Cheers!

yes they are. coz they have the power to do so. and coz nobody holds them accountable to their actions.
for this reason, careful of riding along pumps and dumps

Thank you! I do appreciate your support! I will keep everyone updated! You can always chat with me via Skype or IRC as well Hey Carsen, we don't all get a chance to re-do, so I hope u take this "chance" seriously and make the most of it. Its been mentioned already how u can keep this coin alive. Do follow those suggestions. Namely, stay visible in-forum, don't dump the premine when FUD comes in, keep OP updated, all the good stuff. Speaking for myself, I'll be gauging how serious u r about redeeming ur rep by 1 factor: how long u stick it out with his coin. And keep it alive, obviously. Anyway, I find myself buying into 1 of ur coins (again), as if my bagholdings for DRM, TECH, NEB, and a bunch of other coins that I credit u for (XHC? ISIS? who knows what else? only u, to be sure). Yet I like a good story of success and redemption -- Rocky, anyone? So, best of luck to u! Now, don't squander the opportunity to make good.

Is there problem with Bittrex or with windows wallet? I downloaded this wallet : https://github.com/uro-/uro/releases/download/v1.0.0.1/Windows-Uro-Qt-v1.0.0.1.zip I send my coins bought from bittrex to my address. It doesnt arrive. I check the block explorer http://cryptexplorer.com/chain/Uro and it tells me that my address is not seen on network. Meantime, on Bittrex my withdrawal shows as : Completed I have written Bittrex support, no answer yet, so I wana try and ask about the wallet I downloaded -- did I use wrong wallet, maybe? getinfo shows: { "version" : 1000001, "protocolversion" : 70012, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 24608, "timeoffset" : 17, "connections" : 8, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 5490.88168062, "testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1404548062, "keypoolsize" : 100, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00001000, "unlocked_until" : 0, "errors" : "" } My address is UTuSQYN56MSrAQGYbRw14TgHzRsTstHkPD. My transaction ID accdg to bittrex is 6304984e4c50e955206b25d894f3e70e57662ab86fc176900b1367529417ae1b . Would really appreciate any help / suggestions on this matter. Thanks in advance same thing happened to me last night however the coins finally came after 40 minutes or so. Bittrex showed transaction as completed after 15 minutes however coins took another 30 minutes to arrive...I hope this helps, just wait an hour or so and report back, you should receive them eventually. Hi, choppy, thanks for the reply. I finally received my coins. It arrived minutes after I left my desk for some errands. It was just odd coz -- even though Bittrex already reported a status of "completed", my wallet didn't even show signs that there is a transaction at all. I was expecting that it would at least show up as "unconfirmed" which is what I've gotten used to with other coins. Anyway, I foresee how future transfers can cause anxiety on both parties to a transaction, given that network difficulty is only bound to get higher when July 9 comes around. Just a suggestion: It would be nice if somthing could be done to remove or shorten that span of time when the coins are transiting thru limbo and both sides to a transaction are anxiously waiting for the coins to arrive. Again, thanks Choppy for the reassuring post

Checking out http://isis.coinzone.info/RichList I see that... the top guy owns 60% of current money supply which is.. "moneysupply" : 585080.00000000 as of this writing. Is this something the rest of us need to worry about? I think this is the mining pool That makes sense thanks!

Millions of people get same so-called 'great idea' every day, there is no point of arguing who got first, it's the point of who makes it happen. We will see Like dev said, we shall see. I'll be watching this one. If dev legit, I wish him luck. If dev only intends to defraud, then I hope a flock of pigeons take a dump on him. Cheers!

First 400 Blocks Contain 1 AERO
Why do you shithead devs always stick this in at the last moment before a launch? If you said this days ago people wouldn't be waiting for your shit launch that already failed once today.
And this is why cryptoland is a harsh master ruled by scammy coin devs hahaha on the bright side, i can forget all about this coin for the next 10 hrs LOL Foolish me, it didn't take 10 hrs to go thru the first 400 blocks after all XD

It most likely is a carsen kock coin.
Another worthless shitcoin with a name like firecoin to get the newbies. Why firecoin? Why not TamponCoin or JockStrapCoin? How about "CanILaunchAnotherShitCoinAndMakeAFewBTCAgainCoin"
Wow! FireCoin!
Good coin
I'll mine this
Such innovation
Then the dev posts:
Come on guys lets spread that hash around.
WE have big plans just wait
blah blah blah
The same scammy pools show up
shitdev gives the exchanges a big chunk of his pre/instamine to get listed that day.
20 btc worth of trades after the initial pump and the coin fades away and the shitdev disappears, creates a new account, and does it all over again.
shitdev pockets maybe 5 btc and thinks he's a big time player.
Do that enough times and you just might be.
There are enough fools on this board to fall for it over and over again.
The people mining these shitcoins rarely make any profit. And when you point out instamine or anything like that they get all defensive because they were lucky enough to get in on the instamine and they want so badly for the shit not to stink. But it still does. So after spending a bunch of cash on mining hardware that hasn't returned the profit they were supposed to make according to that nifty online mining calculator, they jump from one new coin launch to the next hoping to be in on the next best thing.
That's the whole CK experience right there. Noobs will learn once they get burned a few times. Its just sad those who lose more than they can afford to, in the process. I swear one of these days, sombody is gona put a high velocity beauty mark on CK's forehead. Pissing on people's finances for shits and giggles -- its not conducive to a long and healthy life. Just saying.
