1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't believe in digital money? Well... on: August 27, 2021, 09:11:17 AM
How often do you actually have cash? It's rare that I do! The next item on this list is money.

In my country paper money is used way more than you'd imagine. But I still buy Bitcoin, since I expect world to ... evolve. As simple as that.
There is a banknote in any country. There are still many blind people in the world, they also need to live.
my country's mobile payment is very convenient, I have no habits with banknotes. The thief will often steal people's banknotes. The mobile phone is in hand, the possibility of robbery is not very big.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will its price start being stabilized? on: August 27, 2021, 08:36:05 AM
Bitcoin's price is from the consensus. There is a price that has a friendly message bitcoin with a friendly buddy will rise. The price after the rise will experience the callback again.
The total supply and demand relationship between Bitcoin is related to the global market. It can hold globally (of course, your area is not banned).
When people no longer buy Bit coins, sell bitcoin, the price of Bitcoin will be smooth.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tesla going to accept BTC again soon? on: August 27, 2021, 03:02:25 AM
at first i was interested in things related to elon but now i don't really follow and even still not interested about what he does be it positive or negative about btc. because his statement is always changing all the time and can not be trusted completely.
the issue of whether elon and tesla will return to accepting bitcoin after the energy consumption problem is resolved I'm not sure if they will care or not. they seem to care about this but on a closer look I'm not sure about it. because Elon only cares about his world not with btc.
even if renewable energy solves the problem of mining this won't guarantee it will be friendly to btc, but it doesn't matter because elon is there or not I don't really care about that, although indeed with him he can at least have a good influence on btc because influencers like him have a lot of followers.
Many people are not trusted for Mask.
I have been concerned with Masque before, and his words have an impact on his supporters. I am in accordance with his pusher.
More and more people don't believe in Mask, but still pay more attention to the market.
No matter where he does not accept bitcoin, there has no effect on comparison. Bitcoin does not rely on someone to develop.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happen if US ban cryptocurrencies? on: August 19, 2021, 07:02:02 AM
Do you guys think one day USA may ban cryptocurrencies? If yes what would happen? I think it's not totally impossible and that would be a global crash on prices.
The United States will not prohibit bits. Bitcoin helps the United States to reduce inflation. They will not set Bitcoin to statutory currencies.
They still want to use the US dollar as a sign of the US dollar.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be taxed on: August 18, 2021, 01:22:22 AM
For the US Internal Revenue Service, this part of the income comes from Bitcoin assets and has been converted into non-Bitcoin assets, such as cash or goods and services.
The bitcoin assets you hold do not need to be taxed (at least for now), but as long as you use bitcoin to sell bitcoin or buy other things, there will be a tax return.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be more effective in the future on: August 17, 2021, 06:29:11 AM
This depends on whether the government prohibits bitcoin.
In the future, it will be more and more friendly. More and more people know Bitcoin. Understand the knowledge of Bitcoin. So Bitcoin will be more effective in the future.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The relationship between Bitcoin and human civilization on: August 17, 2021, 06:10:08 AM
Bitcoin is not a single single currency, but a global transfer system, this system is not controlled by anyone, fair objective, currency is actually the incentive mechanism for this system. Bitcoin is limited, you can store the value, Bitcoin is completely controlled by yourself, can avoid danger, bitcoin free circulation, objective neutral, is a real free currency and the world currency, Bitcoin brings a new society with a new society. Organize the form, subvert the original centralized power structure.
This kind of shock of thinking cognition is like a Newton discovered that there is a gravitational force, and Columbus discovered the new mainland.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I wish i knew about Bitcoin before now on: August 16, 2021, 09:23:18 AM
You know now not to be late. The value of Bitcoin is not only the value of Bitcoin is not only the future. Everyone wants to pay attention to Bitcoin before. Why not believe in Bitcoin before? But the time has passed, you can't change anything.
What you can do is to grasp the opportunity. Don't let the opportunity escape.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will make Canada a superpower? on: August 16, 2021, 02:38:06 AM
We already have a topic for this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354689
Thank you for your pointing.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin will make Canada a superpower? on: August 16, 2021, 02:12:13 AM
Michael Saylor says "Bitcoin is Canada's hope"

Quote
Quebec, Canada alone has enough 𝘂𝗻𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 hydroelectric power to operate the entire Bitcoin Network. Yeah, the entire thing.

Canada as a whole has 400 TWh of hydroelectric capacity.
https://twitter.com/michael_saylor/status/1426805190296997894?s=20

Will Quebec become the most advanced province/region in the world?

Due to political reasons in the United States. Canada allows Bitcoin to be used as a reserve currency for mining. Canada has faintly surpassed the trend of the United States to become a superpower. (However, the Canadian government is very strict, and the government may also take other actions.)

edit:Sorry, I saw a similar topic. I didn't pay attention.https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5354689.0
11  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the nature of currency? on: August 14, 2021, 08:25:48 AM
I beg to disagree that the nature or essence of currency is consensus, at least not until Bitcoin came. It may be so in a small and primitive community but it cannot be in an advanced and large society.

The fiat currency is made up of a lot of policies, decisions, changes, impositions, etc which are not out of consensus. Of course it could be argued that it is hard to gather the opinions and ideas of everybody and that the very reason why there is a government is that it would act and decide on behalf of the larger population.

However, this is not really the case about fiat. The decisions of the few persons who decide about the direction of the currency are not really reflective of the people's voices and sentiment. So everything is merely imposed on the citizenry whether they like or not.
The essence of money is value it.
The currency is considered to be the main exercise of three functions: value scale, exchange medium, value storage. Now people think that the core of the currency is trust. Since trust, it slowly formed a consensus.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 14, 2021, 07:53:13 AM
In encrypted currency, if you are a reasonable person, you will definitely understand that Bitcoin is the only encrypted asset that can be used as a guarantee. Other encrypted assets may also capture, but most of them still have a lot of risks.
For other mainstream encrypted currencies, you may take many years to prove that you can use more people as a safe port.
If Bitcoin is really a "risk opening" asset, its income will be separated from other encrypted assets.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency bad for the environment? on: August 14, 2021, 07:32:21 AM
something important that is always overlooked when people talk about energy consumption and environment is that the amount of energy consumed is not important at all, WHAT that energy is being used FOR is important.

when we have a very useful decentralized currency that is working 24/7 for the whole world, then the amount of energy that it takes to secure this network is negligible no matter how much it is.
at the same time when we have thousands of useless altcoins (that is the cryptocurrencies) that have no purpose and are only pumped and dumped then even a single electron being spent for them is wasteful.

to answer the main question here, yes altcoins are bad for environment.
We can't stop the release of the cottage, even if the Shanzhai coin is contaminated with environmental pollution, we can't do something.
If you want to stop the cottages, then Bitcoin will also be affected.
Some of the impact of some mountain treascoin will involve Bitcoin, allowing Bitcoin to bear public opinion.
Because it is said that the encrypted currency will think of Bitcoin, it will not think of the useless cottage coins.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Becoming wealthy and social responsibility on: August 13, 2021, 08:42:10 AM
Everyone wants to have more money, and the rich is not obliged to help the poor. The poor can only make money through their own way and slowly reduce the gap.
But everyone is very friendly. If others need help, we will help it. Even the donation will also participate. This is rare because of our daily lives.
If you let you help others every day, let you donate money every day to others, will you agree?
If you don't agree, is this the performance of no social responsibility?
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Can developing countries follow El Salvador use Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2021, 08:30:41 AM
For some small countries, they use the encrypted currency to get rid of some major powers. Because they use the encrypted currency, they get rid of the big country, and the big country may launch a war.
If they want to use encrypted currency as a legal currency, they need to consider a lot.
Developing countries hopes to release the statutory currency of their own country, and now because of the fluctuations of Bitcoin, it will not think that Bitcoin acts as a legal currency.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? Will Bitcoin be traded in all countries in 2025? on: August 12, 2021, 09:52:22 AM
Bitcoin itself can be paid globally. But there are still many countries prohibiting excavation of Bitcoin, prohibiting bitcoin. But you can still pay with others.
it is best not to trade from prohibited countries.

Now, although many countries set Bitcoin to statutory currency, now not all people know Bitcoin.
Bitcoin still needs to develop a few years.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in China: What’s going on in the crypto community on: August 12, 2021, 09:27:54 AM
Some things we know are articles released through online media. But if anyone verifies the media is true.
What I know is just through the media, but many media will say that China's poor speech is poor. How do they know? China's media should not have bad statements in China.
Now, China has banned mining, miners have been looking for enough power and low power.
I saw this news will look at both sides, because there will be a good side of a bad side.
We should learn a good aspect.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of the altcoins projects are empty shells? on: August 11, 2021, 07:18:32 AM
Now the memecoin, the number of empty shells is countless. We can only be careful, don't be deceived.
Because now everyone looks at the development of Bitcoin, many of the development of Mountain Coin, want to divide a piece of cake.
Everyone can release coins, there are many scammers to enter.
Because of the epidemic, many people choose to enter the encrypted currency to make money. Mode coins also have a lot of hype. Many projects are a team packaging, and there is no experience.
Be sure to understand the project team before investing, check if there is experience. It is recommended that novices do not invest MeMecoin, which is very risky.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 11, 2021, 06:45:15 AM
The value of encrypted currency may be higher than the value of gold, but I don't mean all encrypted currencies.
Everyone has their own investment habits, and some people like to invest in gold, this kind of stable asset.
Because of the fluctuations of encrypted currency, everyone sees objective profits to choose investment encrypted currencies.
But now the type of cortex is constantly, not all encrypted currency is suitable for investment, pay attention to prevent fraud.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still have thoughts of picking Gold over Bitcoin, read this. on: August 11, 2021, 06:15:00 AM
Gold is a physical currency from ancient ancient times. Gold is now a global general currency, and everyone will choose one of the investments.
Now investment gold has no investment Bitcoin is because of the popularity of bitcoin, there is no stage that knows the world. For gold is a household name.
Bitcoin is not globally used because some countries are not allowed to use Bitcoin.
Investment gold is because it is stable, there is no risk, and bitcoin is a big risk, and it is necessary to understand the encrypted currency before investment.

However, Bitcoin is also advantageous:
  • Gold is controlled, you can't bring it freely, Bitcoin is not controlled, and there is no country in the chain address.
  • Bitcoin cannot fake, gold verification is too much trouble.
  • Bitcoin is easy to carry, the unit is minimum is 8 digits after the decimal point, Cong.

Investment gold is also very good, it is more stable, it may just lack the adventure.
If the funds are sufficient, you can invest two.
