Would you mind reuploading that? Sendspace has removed the file. Put it on a mega instead (shouldn't expire so quickly) https://mega.co.nz/#!eJd1TARD!IFHKj-xC1LfqLcym-j7KMChS6BzdOCBqMN2dcPYF06cHere are some instructions to build it yourself: First make sure you install the amd64 version of python, if you want a 64 bit build. The same process will work with python 32bit but will build a 32 bit moduleThen just grab the p2pool repo; https://github.com/forrestv/p2pool/archive/master.zipextract it and enter the p2pool/litecoin_scrypt directory Then to build your own enter the commands mentioned below in a windows command prompt Set up the environment variables for the Visual studio 2010 build tools (note that it is different for 2012/2013; VS110COMNTOOLS for 2012 VS120COMNTOOLS for 2013) SET VS90COMNTOOLS=%VS100COMNTOOLS%
then run python setup.py install
and it should build and install a 64 bit version of the module for you. > dumpbin /headers build\lib.win-amd64-2.7\ltc_scrypt.pyd

You need to get a destination address from your account at coinbase and send the coins there from blockchain.info (same way you'd send coins to someone). An address is that complicated-looking string of letters and numbers that starts with a 1. I'm not sure how to get that address exactly on coinbase, but there should be like a "receive bitcoins" or something similar-link on coinbase, where you'll get an address.

Does someone else got answer from bittrex? It seems that they are thinking about adding CON to their lists, all we need now is just little bit more activity.
I tweet to @richiela and @bittrex, also submitted a ticket and I have a response: Ryan Hentz (Bittrex) Jan 16, 09:08 Thanks for the request. Our policy is to not comment on whether we will launch coins but we mainly add coins due to community demand. We gauge demand based off of tweets, hash power, length of bitcointalk thread, volume on other exchanges, etc. Follow us on twitter @bittrexexchange and tweet about how much you like this coin and Bittrex. We respond to creative and insightful posts to help market your favorite coins and Bittrex. I'd also consider coming to our irc channel #bittrex on irc.freenode.net and do some guerrilla marketing. The traders there can help you gain exposure for your coin. Thanks, Ryan @ Bittrex Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/BittrexExchange Sooon baby, sooon I want to do a bit of stuff on the Blockchain and Wallet, can you help me with some bugtesting of a couple features? I have a fix to the IRC but I've seen it in other Coins where the IRC will crash when you type in a place you are not supposed to. I also have "use of minimal coinage" and want to test that as well. I have a private testnet running in which we can play around with and a client built to test with. Sure It'll be fun, I'll be glad if I can help. Also some good news are coming soon, I leak the public chat @C-CEX 2015-01-17 21:12:19 (GMT) "mudafudda: Got Paycon? elmanager: @mudafudda, yoo mudafudda: Big News coming soon #paycon elmanager: @mudafudda, youŕe back mudafudda: I been talking with investors elmanager: @mudafudda, ma men, ma dev, ma coin mudafudda: I will have Big News soon. So buy buy buy..." Yeah buying now...

Here is VTC price data from 2014-02-14 until today (2015-01-11) for some of the exchanges. Recent data is only from craptsy and bter because I haven't been keeping track of the server that the data has been accumulating on, but since I'm shutting it down I might as well share the data. Anyway craptsy alone accounts for most of the volume, so whatever. I hope someone finds it useful: https://www.sendspace.com/file/wb2vdh

<snip>
Not sure if anyone is actually merge mining it with vert tho, tbh.
Would've been a better option to switch MON to lyra2re first to test everything than switch VTC to it. MON was supposed to be a test coin for VTC. Having Monocle as a testing coin was the intention of the original vertcoin developers, vertcoin now has a new set of developers with different priorities and plans.

I guess maybe someone is planning to fork MON to lyra2re, or maybe they just plan to keep merge mining with Murray or execoin.
There's a lyra2re branch on github.. and its live on testnet. So if you want to test out merge mining with vertcoin (on testnet) you can. If the vertcoin guys manage to get consensus on their hardfork it can be merged (unless someone found issues during testing etc). Here's some gui binaries (mac, windows, linux): http://www.sendspace.com/filegroup/LIgbIdLYeeygLwq5WAwbvHTFA8bBJtfi

Seems bitmain removed the U3 from their page? Edit: found the page via google, says they're sold out. Wonder if they've discontinued the product..? Edit2: email from bitmain: "It may open sale again later, pay attention to our website for update."

Smells like a big pile of steaming bullshit to me Could be. There was an earlier announcement which said that Kraken would take over MtGOX and pay customers in bitcoin. This one is more limited and cautious, but it is still not clear what is certain and what is merely a wish of Kraken and/or the clients, that the trustee may concede or not. In particular, the statement that clients will be required to open an account at Kraken in order to receive the refunds seems to be just a wish... Does that mean, pay customers even the stolen amount? or just new amounts? I'd assume it is to pay whatever coins are still under the control of mtgox, anything else would be crazy. I'm baffled why'd they even want to get involved in the mtgox bankruptcy though... Seems like way more trouble than it is worth.
