21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you most interested in learning about? on: November 13, 2018, 04:46:07 PM
Per the options given, I am much iunterested in learning how to run a full node. Over the few months, a friend introduced me to these upcoming masternodes and I realize its worth running a node. These nodes seems to make people better as far as crypto is concern. I think I will have to do more research on these nodes pertaining to  how they work.

23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of ethereum on: October 25, 2018, 10:52:14 PM
The fear is not only attributed towards ethereum only but altcoins as well. Infact the whole cryptomarket. The market is really facing a harsh time in that most altcoins are down including ethereum. Thou fear there is fear in some of us, the current cryptomarket is just a normal thing and with time, the bull run will happen and all fears will be wiped away.
24  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: October 25, 2018, 10:45:10 PM
Well, those i introduced to crypto accepted it in good faith but then they have all back off from crypto after a period of few weeks. Right now, at the mention of crypto to them, then they start nagging and make all sort of unnecessary noise. The bottom line is, after going through a little bit of stress, they gave up on crypto. I am pretty sure by the time they might be willing to make a u -turn into crypto, it will be too late for them.
25  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin prices remain the same until next year, will it be good for the crypt on: October 25, 2018, 10:36:42 PM
Well, I don't see bitcoin remaining the same effective from next year. We should expect some changes in the value of bitcoin. As to whether the current situation of bitcoin will be good or bad for crypto next year, it is only future which can tell. But per my perspective and opinion, I think it won't be good for crypto since there will be influx of more scam projects which will be ruining our blockchain technology. This shouldn't happen hence we should hope for the best for bitcoin.
26  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto capable of making the world go digital? on: October 25, 2018, 10:31:19 PM
Blockchain technology has already gone far and thou being criticised and flaunted by some countries, it can be said that most people are currently utilizing blockchain technology. That is to say we are in a world of digital era and this has not made the world completely reliance on digital system.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: October 25, 2018, 06:38:37 AM
Wow! $10,000 is a lot of money especially converting it to fiat currency in my country. Well, I will get this money split into three. I will use the first portion to invest in altcoins like, cht, ripple, and the almighty btc. The second portion of the money will be invested in something outside crypto. The last portion will converted to fiat and saved in the bank.
28  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency Market Could Hit $1 Trillion This Year on: October 25, 2018, 06:33:48 AM
Anything is possible in cryptocurrency but I doubt with this prediction. Cryptocurrency can spring up but not to the figures mentioned in your suggestion. ($1 trillion). Right now, what we should hope for is people diverting their funds from the traditional market to the crypto market. There we shall see a significant improvement in the crypto market. If not, your prediction will be some sort of illusions.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: Please, we should not totally eliminate fiat currency on: October 25, 2018, 06:28:41 AM
My brethren, people on various cryptocurrency platforms suggesting for fiat to be eliminated does not mean it is going to happen somewhere in the future. Eliminating fiat currency to be replaced with what? This is not going to be possible. It is just opinions that people are sharing. What we should focus on right now is how make crypto even much better and not to think of eliminating fiat currency.
30  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any chance of having one global currency? on: October 25, 2018, 06:22:17 AM
I don't see the emergence of a global currency in the future. We are in a world where some countries are seeking for supremacy. This quest will make it difficult for the success of a global currency. The bottom line is, who rules over the currency? Agreeing over a common consensus won't happen thereby making the emergence of a global currency a failure.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I am surprised !!! I am confused what is happening right now. on: October 24, 2018, 09:32:53 AM
The crypto market at this point in time requires patient and a sense of commitment and patriotism from us in the crypto world. It is high time we help protect the blockchain technology to help sustain cryptocurrency. The current situation in the crypto market is heart breaking but that should not deter us from protecting it. What is happening right now is a normal thing in crypto because, crypto has an affinity for volatility. So it is best we protect cryptocurrency and hope that the crypto market will revive again for the subsequent years ahead if not this year.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin do you invest in and do you trust the most? on: October 24, 2018, 09:26:28 AM
Well, I am currently not investing in any altcoin, however, I have one altcoin aside ethereum in mind which I think it is worth investing in. I am recommending this altcoin because, this altcoin is performing even better in our current crypto market. Counting house is the altcoin I am talking about. If it has not come to stay, it will stay for a long period of time.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it the start of the bullrun already? on: October 24, 2018, 09:22:18 AM
The current situation of the market is sort of playing a hide and seek event. The market tries to revive a bit then at a point in time, it begins to decline. This has been going on for some time now till date which is making the bull run sort of a doubt. But then who knows, it could be that the crypto market wants to get started. Patient is key here. Let's give the market some time and I am sure everything will be alright.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: End of ethereum? on: October 24, 2018, 09:17:41 AM
The fact that ethereum is struggling does not mean it is the end of ethereum. Every business has its ups and down so too does ethereum. Ethereum is in hard times now and this will not be forever. It will at all cost revive and attain the required height we are all expecting. Let's all help maintain the blockchain technology to help sustain ethereum, bitcoin and all other valuable altcoins.
35  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: October 15, 2018, 01:39:06 PM
My brethren, are you sure people will choose ethereum over bitcoin? I don't buy your idea. It will always be the other way round. People will always choose bitcoin ahead of ethereum because, bitcoin really thrives well in the crypto market and again, bitcoin has a higher value than ethereum. The small amount you have, you are earning much in dollar equivalence.
36  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: October 15, 2018, 01:34:24 PM
A lot of things will happen ranging from positive to negative stuffs with the negative stuffs doing more harm than good. Well, if all countries convert to cryptocurrency, all trading and transactions will be done with ease and faster. The only problem will be trust among parties on the blockchain. What I am trying to mean is the issue of scammimg others. Once this issue can be sorted and prevented, I think all countries converting to cryptocurrency will go a long way to help the economy of most countries.
37  Economy / Economics / Re: What can be done to make bitcoin stable? on: October 15, 2018, 01:28:27 PM
Bitcoin can become stable if more investors channel their funds from the traditional trading platforms to the crypto world. Tentatively, it seems more people have their funds in the traditional trading platforms than the crypto trading platforms and this I think constantly fluctuates the price of bitcoin. In an instance where we have more people channeling their funds to the crypto world, I think bitcoin will perform well and would be stable.
38  Economy / Economics / Re: Sick and tired of the cryptocurrency bullshit!!! on: October 15, 2018, 01:21:47 PM
I think you should endure the hard times within the crypto market. Crypto really needs time to recover. Moreover, there is time for everything. A time to enjoy and a time to feel frustrated. Last year, the market was good so we were enjoying(except those who entered crypto later this year). I think now that the market has been bad, we should endure and rather think about ways of making crypto great and strong and then hope that, the market will return to normal.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Africa be a good place for crypto? on: October 15, 2018, 01:16:29 PM
Africa as a good place for crypto? Yes it would. Africa is a continent where some countries are ready to embrace good things. Ofcourse, banks are there to oppose certain things which are likely to pose their businesses to threat. Once africans realize crypto will fetch them money, they will quickly embrace it and work into crypto. However, in an instance where the money is keeping them to wait longer, trust me they will back off. Crypto will be good in Africa but the issue of patient can be a challenge.
