101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 27, 2020, 04:54:14 PM
Its really appreciative thing to do such task, I have attended many of the Blockchain events in my city and the first few ones went above my head all the way, I didnt understand any of it but then I too started studying about the technology and it really fascinated me. I have then conducted seminars recently for a project am working with and it really is a tough task to do.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: January 27, 2020, 02:22:10 PM
I feel Binance played a nice game with all of the projects which jumped from other blockchains to Binance DEX. BNB got a nice pump from that and many community started using the DEX. Recently I saw Bet token from Earnbet.io shifting from BinanceChain to Wax Blockchain, I dont know the details of it but it looks like they had difference of opinion.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: January 26, 2020, 05:26:36 PM
I am not a big time gambler. I just gamble for fun and I share everything as it is with my family and close friends. I dont feel any stress on disclosing my gains or loses. Rarely I got big gains and I shared them with my family, They always made me cautious that I may lose big some day and I know the risks so I dont gamble any bigger amount. Betting for fun is more good than bad in my opinion.
104  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: January 26, 2020, 01:03:38 PM
Facebook might enter and it will not even be a competition. Libra is something that is backed up by the fiat. If we will be talking about crypto currencies, bitcoin and altcoin will still be the thing. In terms of usage, obviously fiats will be the winner since cryptos still has a little place in this world right now.
Facebook has a lot of obstacles to over come to come up with their coin and if they get the license then people will be flooding into the coin because you can trust them as a stable currency and they will be transparent unlike other stable coins we have right now, fiat still rules the finance sector and you need fiat to invest in bitcoin or any crypto.

I dont think Libra or facebook even needs a mention on the discussion of domination of crypto market. It will take at least 5 to 10 years for Facebook to develop and make people adopt libra if they are allowed to.

My vote will be for USD until the age of crypto being used for all of the transactions. Then it will be either BTC or the one which will be used for cross border transactions.
105  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 26, 2020, 10:03:39 AM
The status of reserve bank is same as before, they are not going to allow crypto as a legal tender but they know that it cannot be banned. They have understood that with banning banks to transact with exchanges, they are losing more on taxes. We may see a positive outcome from court soon and exchanges will be back with bank transactions.

107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fraud victim,75, loses £11k in life savings! Secure your BTC just now! on: January 26, 2020, 04:01:54 AM
I dont know why people connect these scams with cryptocurrencies.? There are lots of scams like these everywhere where people fall for their greed and invest their money to make it double or something like that. Buying a hardware wallet is suggested but if you are going to invest by your own then what is the use of it.?
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Investing in Alts instead of Bitcoin for far greater returns (or losses) on: January 25, 2020, 05:05:57 PM
Investing alts is not always profitable and if you are planning to hold for a longer time then it is never a good idea. Holding more than 80% of your portfolio in Bitcoin is always preferred. Alts may give you a higher profit but dont forget that it can go down anytime and you will never get back your investment.
109  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 25, 2020, 03:43:51 PM
Whale Alert is the best way to get the latest update on a large amount transfer. They tweet about most of the top alts too. They even have their API's if you are a developer and creating your own bots.  Wink
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub launches payments in stablecoin Tether on: January 25, 2020, 02:53:01 PM
I think its a great thing for Pornhub to take this step, It will definitely increase the premium users for the site as it is easier for any countrymen to access premium contents without having issue of credit card scams or skimming. Also it will be easier to buy USDT as most of the exchanges will have it. More websites should start this by understanding the value of crypto.
111  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin bank, Necessary? on: January 25, 2020, 01:50:57 PM
Your poll answers your question correctly. There is no point in your argument and logic unless you are a hacker and wants to hack more than what a normal person holds. We are the community who wants our money to be decentralized and want to have our money in our pockets and freedom to spend them anywhere in the world.
112  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 24, 2020, 04:52:57 PM
It looks like there is an alt season and most of the top alts may get good growth until Bitcoin is in accumulating zone. The market is still volatile but BTC needs to stay above a support zone and should move sideways so that alts get their investment. There are many top alts like Dash, which got good increase in the past 30 days and we may see more of this in 2020.
113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Monday Is the Best Day to Buy Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 04:00:32 PM
More than coincidence I think it might be the weekly closing of BTC and gaining more once it is closed. I think the weekends are the best days to buy bitcoin if you study that chart completely because that is when people might be more concentrated on trading and invest more. Personally, I dont feel this might be useful for a trader to invest in any way and just a display of data.
114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is stopping the US Government from outright BANNING Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 03:10:51 PM
Only a dictatorship could ban crypto completely and make their own coin or just never use them. In a world of democracy it is highly impossible to ban something and stop people from using it. Also is there any strong reason to outright ban bitcoin..? People will ask questions and then they have to think of ways to regulate it.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BNB the Next Bitcoin? on: January 24, 2020, 01:49:30 PM
Comparing BNB to Bitcoin is too exaggeration. BNB is a great creation, use case is also sustainable and has future. Binance is doing great as an exchange at this moment and adding new features like staking and lending. But IEO's are falling in its popularity and they need to bring up something different.
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: January 23, 2020, 05:33:33 PM
After reaching a peak Bitcoin dominance is getting dipped day by day and it is at 65.8% now and even BTC is falling from its support of 8400$ which is not so good sign for alts. BTC needs to move steadily or at least sideways for sometime in order for alts to get a good volume inflow. BTC fluctuations at this moment might be common because of halving effect. We may see altcoins pumping again once BTC gets stabilized.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin's price is disappointing!!! on: January 23, 2020, 05:01:05 PM
Its hard to choose an altcoin for investments these days. Most of them just fluctuate allot with Bitcoin and when Bitcoin gets dumped, alt will bleed and even when it pumps alts will bleed. If you are holding alts for longer time then its harder than ever to keep holding them. The only way is to hope alts will get back to their previous high and people could sell them.
118  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 23, 2020, 03:34:46 PM
I think its a great initiative and if someone does that here in my city then I would definitely opt for paying through BTC. It may be a dumb thought to spend Bitcoin at this moment for these things but I would do it just to keep the seller's faith on crypto and should be creating more awareness about this.

P. S. The government wont like this if you dont pay service tax on the money you get by selling your stuff. Read about it and be cautious.
119  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Okay. Charge tax on bitcoin. Is this fair policy? on: January 23, 2020, 02:25:51 AM
Taxing on incomes is common in every country, the percentage might be different but the taxation system should be like that. Whatever profit you gain on bitcoin trading and convert it to fiat, 20% tax on that is a normal percentage to ask. There are countries which accept this already which is again an indirect way of regulation.
120  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do cryptocurrencies diversify each other? on: January 22, 2020, 05:21:12 PM
I think its a good strategy to diversify your investments but anything which you feel too much is actually not good, so too many alt in your portfolio will just make bigger fluctuations. Holding more than 70% of your money in Bitcoin is suggestible, then hold higher percentage in top alts like ETH or XRP or projects which you think will boom in the future. What people do is hold alts more than 70% of their portfolio, which is too much risky.
