1  Economy / Goods / Re: selling lvl 109 runscape acc with over 91 mill items/cash on: July 30, 2011, 07:24:13 AM
What can you with the cash in the game?
With the cash (GP (Gold Pieces)) you are able to buy in game items such as fish or cake.

3btc without 91mill////10 btc with 91mill
What is the name of the character? I would like to look you up on the high scores.
2  Economy / Goods / Re: selling lvl 109 runscape acc with over 91 mill items/cash on: July 28, 2011, 09:10:59 PM
I'm really only wanting like 11 btc ,only because there's 91 mill on it

Therefore if I were to buy it without the 91 mil it would be considerably less?
Since that's about the amount I make in a single day I would rarther pay less for no noticeable loss.

An analogy for those who claim to have no math problems, but still have:

Imagine shooting from a rifle to a train fast passing by. My rifle is 10x slower than yours. So, while a train passes, on average, you will get 10x more hits on it than me. However, if my rifle can shoot only once a minute and there is fast (or short) train, you can hit it .. once or twice, while I may happen than I completely miss it.

Understand now?

That isn't maths. That is so crap example that has almost nothing to do with maths.

hmm, was thinking of selling my account too, but i thought that it wouldnt have any takers, let alone get anything worth all the time i spent on the acc

seems i was right  Grin

I was kidding, I would happily pay for a valuable account. I just hate making offers because they are always either too much or too little.

Someone, who is 10x faster than me, has 10x higher chance to score during fast found block. When we both hit the fast block, he gots about 10x more than me.

However, when I miss the block completely, my profit is not 10x lower than his. Its exactly *ZERO*.

Its like rounding to cents error, but you can earn only fractions of cent.

Sorry to say this, but have you ever tried to do maths before?
I'll make it simple.
You said "However, when I miss the block completely, my profit is not 10x lower than his. Its exactly *ZERO*. "
So, he has 10*your shares.
Your shares = 0
10*0=0.
Do we understand?
I think you may need to have another maths lesson with my year 1 teacher.

How much would you pay for a 10, 20 50 and 100 trillion Zimbabwe Dollars set?
I have a price in mind, what's your offer?

1.0001 BTC is my bid.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin MineField - 10%-2300% winings, fully automated, with cool technologies:) on: July 26, 2011, 06:02:25 PM
You mentioned creating new games, any ideas on what they are going to be like?
Another gambling game, or a "pay to play" game?
you seem to have some preferences or something in mind, I'd be happy to hear about it.

No preference at all.

Just did a little test of 0.05. Lets see how long it takes to get a pay back.
Hope it is fast.

Great pool!! Unlike other pools such as Deepbit this one allows suggestions. And from experience (over 5 suggestions given) they NEVER get ignored.
You can suggestions your own ideas and make this pool how you like it!!

The more people the better!!

See here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

A 5770 tops out at 240 with Phoenix and quite a bit of tweaking, the best poclbm rate is just over 200. If you're getting around 200 with your card, sounds about right to me.

Oh, good. The people with over 1GHash/s have multiple cards I assume?

No, why?
Should I? When running it I found no differance to when not running it.

I'll just answer all the questions chronologically.

How do you display how much of the GPU is used?
I use CCC which uses a very small ammount of GPU power. But I don't keep it running.
  • Quote
    MSI Afterburner can tell you

OP, try phoenix and see if it gets better.
I tried many differant miners and OpenCL was the best from my own tests, and from what other people have said.
    And yes, I tried Phoenix.
  • Quote
Yes, it can, but we need to know what method he is using.? ;p  It sounds like either it is just on the cpu or there is some other configuration issue at work here.
I already stated that I am using a GPU miner and proved it.

And are you certain its 100-200Khash and not Mhash?
It might have been Mhash, but even then that is a very low ammount for a top range computer is it not?
  • Quote
There are other things we should check, the most basic of which would be do you have all of the current blocks loaded? I.e have either the bitcoin client running and up to the current block or bitcoind running when you go to mine?
What does that even mean? ):
15  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A lil Issue on: July 05, 2011, 07:45:46 PM
What miner are you using?

Python OpenCL miner.
poclbm_py2exe_20110627

I have also setup Python and OpenCL
It also seems I have the same problem on all my operating systems, Windows 7, Linux Mint and Linux and another Linux based server OS.

I also run the absolute minimum to let the miner use 100% (roughly) of the GPU.

Sent a PM.
Can't wait for Google+.
Can't wait for your Minecraft thingy either, if that is going to be public info then I want in!!
17  Other / Beginners & Help / A lil Issue on: July 05, 2011, 06:58:05 PM
When looking into Bitcoins I decided to start, shortly after I heard about mining. So I thought since I have a top end computer I might as well try it.
My computer costed me over £600, I have an ATI 5770 Vapour-X, as well as a quad core AMD.
The thing that worries me is the fact that it is running at 100-200Khash/s on an OpenCL miner and from what I see this is very VERY low.

Also I know for a fact it is running on my graphics card due to the fact that when I run it my graphics card activity goes from 0%-100%....

Any help would be very nice!

EDIT:
I forgot to mention I was/am using Deepbit pay-per-share system.
