Sorry for ignorance, but regarding revenew from exchange, will get 0,001% share everyone with an account registered on exchange website or it is joined solely to share coin holding? Also do you have to hold your share coin on exchange?
It bases solely on the FeeShare holding, not the ShareCoin. And FeeShare can only be purchased by ShareCoin |

It says distribution will end of 5th of May. I haven't as yet received the coins so how do I check that I am not disqualified? I am a legitimate member of Bitcoin Talk and also want to make a blog post on it too and help the coin. No, the list only showed the applied accounts, it doesn't mean those accounts are qualified. If you applied multiple times using different accounts, none of your accounts will receive any coins. |

Wow... This looks very nice. Since the owner of the exchange will be the coin owners, how do you intend to share the profits among them? Or loss for that matter.
I'll share the revenue, not the profit. The details about fee shares will be published along with the exchange launch. But basically, it works like this: There are total of 100,000 FeeShare which correspond to 100% fees from the exchange. Holding 1 FeeShare in the exchange will give you 0.001% from the exchange. FeeShare can only be purchased directly from the exchange with ShareCoin. But a market of FeeShare/Bitcoin will be opened so people can trade their purchased FeeShares freely.  What I meant is Holding 1 FeeShare will give you 0.001% of the revenues from the exchange. I don't really understand your question, can you clarify? |

I have a good news. The development of ShareCoin's exchange is going very well. We can possibly launch the exchange this week.

Just a question: are the underlying transactions in the db guaranteed to be atomic? If you're using MySQL, are you using prepared statements? We are caching all queries and pages to the max to archieve the best render time. The Database server will run seperately on Amazon RDS, it is only accessible through the backend server. The coin daemons will run on a private server which can only be accessed from the backend server, too. Well, you're the dev. The reason why I'm asking is that non-atomic transactions invite race conditions, which have been exploited by thieving hackers at least once to rob at least one exchange of a lotta BTC. Two of my own BTC went down with one of those exchanges, as the dev gave up and ran. I'm passing this along because I want your project to succeed, and not to be destroyed. To be honest, it's not that easy to hack an exchange. If it's easy, everybody would make a living by hacking websites. And if a hacker has enough skills to hack into an exchange, he won't bother looking at these altcoin exchanges, he will target for other big websites. 2 main reasons exchanges reported as hacked: 1. The owner is lying, they just want to steal your coin. 2. The owner is too stupid. |

Could you let us know which accounts were qualified and which were not? By puting my account id number on your website I can see, that the countdown is on. Does that mean one is qualified? The same question with yours?? The list of qualified account will be released on May 2 before coins are sent. All qualified and disqualified accounts are published. When the coin releases. He will start the ShareCoin movement @ 1 satoshi on the exchange. Don't ask which one because IDK.. From there it is up to us to keep it moving What do you think - will bitcoins go to the dev's wallet? If yes - it means that dev just sold premine. If no - where will bitcoins be send? This is very important question. Can dev explain how the Share coins will be sold for first time and where the obtained bitcoins will go to?
I already explained on the original post, I'll quote it here again for you: All BTC generated from multipool is used to buy ShareCoins on exchanges. Those ShareCoins will be shared proportionally to miners.
The first trade will be done manually. I'll start with 1 satoshi on the exchanges and move the price up gradually.
Later trades are automated.
All occured trades and open orders are published on the homepage. |

I've just checked the log of the app. There is only 525 qualified accounts right now.
Members who used cloned accounts to apply will not receive any ShareCoin to any of their accounts.
Where is the log of the app? That is just an estimated number. The final list of qualified and disqualified accounts will be published before the distribution. hi, dev, am I one of the 525 qualified accounts? Thanks.
Actually there are over 1,000 qualified accounts now. If you didn't try to apply multiple times with different accounts, you are qualified. If you tried to cheat, just remove the signature from your clone accounts and keep it on only one account. By doing this, you still have a chance to get free ShareCoin. |

Anyone has an idea if I get a share if I simply put "sharecoin" in my signature?
I wanted to change it to something meaningful already, but I'm afraid that will **** with my application.
Any thoughts on that?
You can change the signature to anything you like, just make sure that it has the word "ShareCoin" in it |
