quote: We are a group of masters and Ph.Ds working in Computer Science and Electrical Enginnering majors, who have experience in cryptocurrency for 1-2 years in terms of mining.
I hope you guys will bring some innovations in the coin in the short term.
Gonna get solo some blocks are launch.
The reward structure we planned is Innovative , we want to be different and about mining , as the initial block reward is low , we can prevent Big SOLO Miners .... Our idea was the More you mine the Better is your reward Yes, I get it, i just like the feeling of solo, because i am a small miner. Maybe I will rent some of the hash at the end of PoW. The other day i saw the cellphones and tablets are flexible, i found a youtube link here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKG7XRsG9KQI hope you can get a real coin which can be flexible

All of them are very good advice, although I don't fully support #6 because I can make money from Altcoin trading.

For face to face transactions, confirmation time is one hurdle that i can think about.

Really? I think the number of nodes doesn't equal the number of coins they hold. If any major country have the capability to control Bitcoin, which has a capital of less than 10 Billion dollars

I am glad to see Apple accept Bitcoin, it is the largest company in the world and other companies will follow it hopefully.

I expect in a few years (2017-2018), it can reach the level.

You can try your luck, but mining bitcoin with a USB is difficult.

Sell the rig for $30 and buy 0.05BTC with that - that's more than the hardware could ever mine.
I think the rig worth much more then $30 just not worth for mining.. Well I live in the Los Angeles area and if I asked more than $30 for that rig it wouldn't even get a lowball offer. Obviously the value will vary based on region. If the OP doesn't need the machine best bet would to sell it and buy BTC directly given the current fiat price drop. If sold only as a mining rig, sure, but this is a good PC which gamers would pay a few hundred dollars for. Even games need a good GPU, the current GPU is too bad, it is even worse than the integrated GPU of a new I5 or I7
