Has this ever been done before? Wouldn't it make more sense to just destroy the cards that didn't make it into the Series 1 packs? I get why they would want those cards to be distributed, but to me, it's part of the history of Series 1. A production error meant certain cards never made it into the packs and that should remain as is. Someone had the idea of inserting the missing S1 meta-rare cards into S2 and call them "retro meta-rares" I like that idea

This maybe the last diamond that we will see come up for sale for a long time, no more on feebay And it's card #21, very symbolic number in the bitcoin community Good rainbow starter kit I'll be following this auction.

Yes I read that, I will have to dig mine out and have a go. Any funds I had have already been recovered, but it would be cool to have it working again, I did like using the KeepKey as a HW wallet

I don't know about specific issues . Despite I have taken some during the years, I am not fan of hardware wallet. Here I am selling as collectible (sealed/wrapped). It was a long time ago, and I do have the coolest paper weight now https://github.com/keepkey/keepkey-updater/issues/14

After the last firmware update it froze my KeepKey, nothing but a paper weight now. Lots of people reporting the same problem
Good to buy as a collectable, but maybe not so good to use as cold storage

Is there an overview which redemption cards have already been found and how many are still open? An overview with the public keys would also be nice. And how long does the redemption program actually run. If I open one of my series 1 boxes in 10 years and there is a redemption card inside it would be nice if I could redeem it Out of the 5 or more 1 BTC redemption cards, I am aware of only 2 that have been found. I don't like the idea of saving unopened boxes for 10 years, what if you hit a 1 BTC redemption and BTC is worth $1 mil a coin, could Cardsmiths even afford to pay out if they haven't kept some BTC aside for redemption cards. Who knows if they will even still be in business then. Rip those packs

Card values will only go up from here too, with Series 1 officially being sold out as of yesterday.
Looks like you are correct, Cardsmiths has sold out, I hadn't noticed that yet. As hard as times currently are, I still really wanted to buy just 1 more box to rip. Oh well, I am happy with my series 1 set and the few gems I have. Beautiful cards with stunning art Excited to hear what Cardsmiths do for a redemption program on s2, like the diamonds with s1

Getting about 40 cards from psa grading in next few days. There is a high rate of cards being miscut. I'm thinking 20 percent. If they are graded, there is about a 10 percent chance of a 10. The psa 10s will be highly coveted.
If I were to get more graded, I'd suggest slipping cards in an oversized sleeve and toploader. Very easy to nick a corner trying to fit in standard size sleeve
The odds of getting a 10 from psa is probably less than 10 percent of what you submit, not easy finding a perfect series 1 currency card. I was very happy with the diamond refractors, from whatI have seen it looks like most are very well aligned, same with the Onyx cards, I am guessing the 1/1 got some special attention to detail. Best of luck with your grading, pls share the results and pics
