1  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: "How best do I secure my investment on bitcoin as a newbie" on: July 03, 2024, 04:08:24 PM
The reason why everyone is taking their time to advise you is because we care about everyone on this forum and i want to also let you know that if someone else gets your private key, not even the police can help you trace who transfered and who received the money, so be careful
2  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Reason people are so adamant to invest in Bitcoin on: June 19, 2024, 09:15:05 PM
What you mentioned is insightful, and I would add that a lot of religious people still believe that bitcoin is a bad currency that heralds the end of the world in which everyone will be able to use the same currency. For this reason, they are frightened to invest.
3  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Is Investing into crypto really safe? on: June 19, 2024, 09:01:37 PM
Cryptocurrency is a very risky investment, but in my opinion, it's not as risky as people say because I don't invest all of my money; instead, I count the money as a loss before I invest so that I won't be devastated if things don't work out. If, however, it does well, I remove my capital and invest again.
4  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is lying now part of human nature? on: June 07, 2024, 11:36:47 PM
I believe you are speaking form your area or country but i must say that not every human has lied in one way or the other but lieing doesn't make a person to be worthy no matter what he gain lieing, always remember to always say the truth because it builds a good reputation
5  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Racism in Soccer on: June 07, 2024, 11:23:32 PM
Football, for example, is a beautiful game because it is played by people of all races. I detest racism, but it has also drivenAfrican and African Americans to strive for excellence in order to change the world. Racism presents an opportunity for Africa to rise beyond it, as other continents have done, proving everyone else wrong and emerging as the commercial hub.
6  Other / Off-topic / How did you feel when you made your first forum earnings? on: June 06, 2024, 09:34:36 PM
While it's true that I haven't earn money from the forum yet, I am extremely happy about the knowledge I have gained from it. I feel so good when I manage to outsmart scammers because they didn't steal from me, but most of the time I wonder what my feelings will be when I start earning from the forum.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Benefits from the forum. on: June 03, 2024, 03:11:26 PM
This is excellent, I'm interested about learning more and investing, can I invest in Bitcoin more profitably, and is there a minimum amount required to do so?
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of this Facebook Scam! on: June 03, 2024, 02:55:25 PM
Nice one, but we need be even more cautious because some of the bogus accounts—known as "blue tick" accounts—have verification as well, and people are more likely to fall for their frauds when they see them. I was able to find out about them because I stumbled upon some similar ones.
9  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Make a difference in your society. on: May 27, 2024, 05:01:02 AM
Your philosophy sounds good, but you have to start somewhere, no matter how small. In this day and age, things happen quickly, and if you try to stop them, you come across as the bad guy. My advice is that anyone who is 18 years old has the right to take responsibility for their actions; if you give advice and it doesn't work, forget it.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Waking up a dead or concluded discussion in a topic on: May 27, 2024, 04:45:07 AM
If a person has an interesting contribution to make or still has a query, they may choose to go back and review an earlier topic. Let the thread be from years ago rather than just a month, even if it has to be locked.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A quick reminder to all beginners, the cloud is someone's else computer. on: May 22, 2024, 08:02:00 AM
Thank you for the information. Despite the fact that I have been using TrustWallet and didn't realize this when I downloaded it, I will now be cautious when recommending it to others. However, I would advise you to save your security information on your email rather than writing it down to prevent it from being lost or invalidated when you're not around.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Seeing is no longer believing on: May 21, 2024, 05:08:11 PM
Since any online business is risky and should be traded with caution, your business partners should be prepared to complete any task you assign them. Although it all depends on your intelligence, if you haven't met the person and want to engage in a video call, all you have to do is observe and let the person move around and perform your task in order to gain trust. Everyone needs to be aware of their surroundings in this day.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learn a skill instead, you will be set for life. on: May 21, 2024, 04:52:17 PM
Your topic is interesting, especially since it relates to young people, who will be tomorrow's leaders. However, you shouldn't laugh at someone else's situation because you may not be sure if the person did it or was set up. Until you experience life from a different perspective, I believe you will understand what I mean. Nevertheless, your topic is interesting.

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think that government can stop Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2024, 03:40:33 PM
The government has the right to regulate anything that falls within its purview, especially if it has a significant impact on the development, security, and economy of the area. However, the situation with Bitcoin is more complex. While it plays a valuable role in society, its drawback is that it can be used for terrorist, fraud, and kidnapping. For this reason, a responsible government would never consider looking into outlawing Bitcoin.
16  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can democracy really work here in Africa on: May 20, 2024, 12:56:11 PM
Not all of Africa is experiencing democracy, but certain regions are. Simply put, selfishness has led African leaders to opt to put themselves first. I think a single global currency would be better for democracy and good governance since national leaders are taking national assets to compete with individuals from other countries, such as America, Europe, and so on.
17  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / My encounter using Bitcoin with a nearby farmer/trader in my area on: May 19, 2024, 01:07:40 PM
Do you know that, along with crude oil, agricultural produce is currently one of the most in-demand products in my area? For instance, I paid #300 for a bushel of corn in Port Harcourt. Initially, I wanted to leave to see if the woman would call me back, but she refused, so I went back to buy ten bushels of corn from her, which works out to be about #300 x 10 = 3000. Jokingly, I said to her, "Madam, I will pay you on Bitcoin ooo," hoping she would be angry but was compelled to ask her how she learned about bitcoin after she replied, "I will give you my address if you want." She said that her son and daughter had taught her. Based on this, I believe we should always work to educate those around us about bitcoin so they are ready to defend themselves even against scammers. Bitcoin is a payment instrument that will be used in agriculture and is not limited in any way.
18  Other / Off-topic / In the EPL, vote against VAR. on: May 17, 2024, 10:56:36 AM
Although VAR has proven beneficial in football, some dishonest referees have attempted to thwart its use by incorrectly deciding when they are aware of the facts. FIFA included VAR because it is already used in major competitions like the World Cup, so why is the English Premiership different in that they will be voting to implement VAR before the end of the month? It is my belief that the investigation of dishonest authorities and the implementation of new legislation should be conducted.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Imagine owning a Bitcoin note. on: May 17, 2024, 10:23:51 AM
Bitcoin is not centralized electronic currency, it is a decentralized digital currency. Where did you see such wrong information that bitcoin is a centralized currency?

Bitcoin is possible in physical form like Casascius Bitcoin which contains the private key of an amount of bitcoin but government will not make such project to move forward.
Its a mistake from the typo and thanks for the correction
20  Other / Beginners & Help / Imagine owning a Bitcoin note. on: May 17, 2024, 10:02:41 AM
Consider having bitcoin as hard currency for transactions or the purchase of commodities. Bitcoin is a decentralized electronic currency that is accepted on practically every continent in the world. The bitcoin note is going to be the most elegant and simple-to-identify physical cash in the world, and I wonder who face would have been drawn to it?
