I think the best way to get profit is to plan your moves and plan B for any situation you might encounter. So when you want to buy Bitcoin try to figure out to what extent it might go up and how low it can go down, etc. You can apply that to any coin.

I have it as my instrument for long-term investment. I had planned on holding it for more than a year, but now I hope to be able to sell it in the end of 2018. I expect at least 40% profit of mine investment and wouldn`t be satisfied to see less.

The favorite coin for me is Ethereum. It has the biggest potential and the best team behind that I have ever seen. I think the fact that new ICOs are created with the help or on the basis of Ethereum`s technology is a nice factor to attract investors.

You see cryptocurrency market is unique because of that fact it is not regulated by anyone, but for the bigger coin owners. Are there many scam ICO? Yes, more than enough. Can we do something about? Yes, but we need to start with ourselves, we need to stop believing them and start thinking.

This is a very risky business. You can easily get rich in a matter of days, but the chances of that are close to winning a lottery, twice. With the amount of new listed coins it’s almost impossible to find and calibrate the one, which can survive in this market.

By 2020 Ethereum`s price would be around 2000$ mark by mine expectations. I think this altcoin will see its biggest growth this year and somewhat in the start of 2019. Then it will start to stabilize at the 1800-2000$ mark and by the 2020 reach it.

Only few names come to my mind. They are Ripple, Litecoin, IOTA. These trio of altcoins are on my top 5 most promising altcoins for 2018. I have all of them in my portfolio and not selling them anytime soon, even more than that, I am going to buy some more.

It is great that you didn`t buy, but you have even better opportunity right now. Because the market is going down right now and every coin is dropping in price. If you still think that Ethereum can turn out great, like I do, then it is great time to invest.

Bitcoin will win in a long run for sure. Ethereum is a very good project, a great one even, but it is no match for the original coin in crypto world. Maybe if something happens to Bitcoin, like regulations or something like that and it won`t affect Ethereum, the second one could win.

It is not the best time to invest right now, especially in Bitcoin. It is my opinion, but I believe it will start falling down at the beginning of summer and you can lose money if you buy it now. It also depends on how long you want to hold it.

I don`t think we will see many altcoins in the future. I believe only 5-10 percent will survive for more than 2 years and we won`t be using them as much as we use Bitcoin, and will use also. So I don`t think we need so many altcoins now.

Overall, I don`t think that 95% of altcoins will survive in 5 years or so and I think the ones that will survive haven`t been created yet. So, as you can tell, I can`t name any altcoins today that I think will survive in the future, nevertheless you can make profit of them in a span of 1 year.

I reckon that the market will be green in the beginning of summer. Then it will start to go down slowly and at the end of the summer we`ll see a dip in prices across all coins. That`s how I see it, I can`t plan for further time though.

If there was one way to understand that some coin is going to be very profitable, everyone would become a millionaire in a very short period of time. So there are no universal rules or attributes to determine whether the coin will be good or not. 

I have never thought about my plans of cashing out. I have been holding for so long that I almost forgot about having altcoins. Now that I think about this, I would love to make enough money to buy myself a house and be able to spend money without working for few years.

Tough to say, honestly. The price of Ethereum was jumping up and down throughout the year that is true, yet I still believe in this project and in the ability of the team behind it to make things right. I expect it to grow this summer.

I think that the Ethereum is not even close to being dead. It is alive and breathing freely. In a couple of years it will be one of the most widely-used altcoins the world has ever seen. That is just my opinion though, you don`t have to support it.

There are plenty of them on the market and I can`t really specifically tell which altcoin is the strongest right now. What I can tell is this: it would be very profitable to invest in Ripple for medium and long-term. I believe it will make a huge jump in one year.
