81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Top 10 DeFi Tokens on coinmarketcap in Loss on: September 26, 2020, 03:13:32 PM
I have stopped investing in defi coins for now. I've lost nearly 50%.
The current price looks like a correction but may fall again.
I do not think so. The defi trend is still very strong, new projects are born and the price is still x many times, Hakka, Hedge are a typical example. The problem is that you bought those defi coins at its highest level, after bitcoin corrected we will definitely lose money. As an investor, you should calculate the risks in advance and you should buy earlier before its price has pumped too high.
For me, I will still hold my defi coins for another month. If the general economy remains bad, I will give up.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: September 26, 2020, 01:40:36 PM

Do you think that 2017 was the "Golden Year of Crypto"? Or is the best is yet to come? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley
2017 was the golden age of ICO projects, not Bitcoin. For me, Bitcoin will grow even more and go much further than it is now. It is important that we are facing a degrading economy so Bitcoin's price is constrained during this period as well.
When the disease is gradually controlled and vaccines are fully provided, that will be when Bitcoin's strongest growth. in the next 2 to 3 years we will see Bitcoin cross the ATH mark of 2017.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: September 26, 2020, 01:07:31 PM
It feels really devastating reading that kucoin has been hacked. I'm only happy that the hack would not affect the users funds, but 157 million dollars is not a small sum to walk over. Something really needs to be done about these incessant hacks. It's less than a month since we heard EterbaseExchange was hacked. I'm really not finding this hack issue funny. Every exchange should guard their assets more this period.
it is really difficult to stop hackers. Most of the big exchanges nowadays often have very high security, but hackers still find the vulnerability. hence I don't expect any security-optimized application, I just hope exchanges should adjust the ratio between hot and cold wallets. they should reduce the percentage of money in hot wallets and increase the rate on cold wallets.
As for us, we should divide the capital into many exchanges. When we get hacked, we only lose a part, this is the best way to protect our assets in the crypto market.
84  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: September 25, 2020, 07:41:52 AM
Market is in bad condition and btc is unstable and every 200 or 300 dollars moves of btc alt making bleeding. In this condition trade by yourself is good but don't forget to put proper stop loss if you are taking margin in your trade.
I think this is not the time to conduct margin trading, it will be very risky if the sharks are constantly manipulating and reversing prices.
I see our crypto market accumulating day by day, volume is decreasing and preparing for a big dump or pump. Given the current unstable economy and some political turmoil taking place in many places, I think we'll have to see bitcoin fall to $ 9k6 or $ 9k8. We'd best hold USDT for now.
85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: bull market and market news its a end of the crypto or whats wrong? on: September 25, 2020, 05:44:37 AM
Have you seen the news lately? If you haven't, then your missing out. Right now, there are fears about a second wave of covid-19 coming as the number of daily cases are hitting new highs on daily basis. The market crash started with stocks and gold before extending to Bitcoin and the entire crypto market. If it turns out it's actually a second covid-19 wave, we might see much more lower prices. Don't forget there's also a CME gap around $9.6K to $9.8K so a lot of people are keeping and eye so much that it might turn out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy since everyone is more bearish now than bullish.

The crypto market will definitely rise and reach a $1 trillion marketcap at some point but we'll need mass adoption and more people to get aboard and join the revolution.
I don't see as many cases as before, have you read it wrong?
only countries with messy economies have more cases such as India and Mexico, but other countries have very low new infections. Everything seems to be well controlled and there is no sign of a 2nd outbreak. Here is the link that you can check: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/#countries
I think the problem recently is the political developments in America. The competition for the presidency in America was intensifying and that caused chaos.
86  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain – Industry News – (11.15.19 – 11.22.19) on: September 25, 2020, 05:17:31 AM

• Binance has acquired India based cryptocurrency exchange WazirX.

Now they want to enter the Indian market without having a headquarters or a clear organizational idea.
Although India has been legalizing Crypto, it does not mean that it easily allows foreign companies to enter and make headquarters in their home country. they only allow trading and legalize crypto, which only gives the citizens of India more opportunities for international growth. The fact that Binance has a headquarters in India is quite difficult because China is also a pandemic country to the world, so they receive little sympathy from the Indian government. Please understand them and I still believe that Binance is the most legit exchange in the crypto market.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: UK’s economy will lose a good amount of money if football clubs shut. on: September 24, 2020, 05:11:23 PM
Football teams have many sources of income from advertising services. although there are no spectators on the pitch, they can still promote certain brands by printing a logo on their jersey. In addition, they can still sell the rights to broadcasters when the game is played.
They still have revenue but less than usual, I think they will still be operating for a long time, the cash flow is always flowing properly so football bankruptcy is not possible.
88  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is good amount to start day trading is 100$ enough?? on: September 24, 2020, 12:09:27 PM
I have experience on daily trade. It is not easy to do it. We must have good money management and understand to analyze the chart.
I recommend to firstly learn about trading by practice with virtual account before trade with real money.
I don't think demo trading will help the trader. because I tried trading on a demo account for 3 months and after that i was trading with a real account, as a result I still got burned. The reason behind that is that the demo account always makes us feel safe, it will make us not disciplined.
so we still need to use our real money to transact; it takes a sense of loss to find the best strategy to prevent that. That is also considered a motivation trap.
89  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic pushed the US into recession- now official , analysis on: September 23, 2020, 04:51:15 PM
We all know that if America is in a recession it will affect all of the countries around it and it sucks. Even though cases are declining, vaccines have yet to arrive, meaning people are still going to work and consume in fear. This in particular affects the US economic candle very much.
But the important thing is that people are investing so much in the US stock market, will the sharks foresee a recession will not come this year? What do you think about this ?
P / s: I am really wondering about holding coins so I want to know what the opinion of the crowd is. Many thanks for reply me.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet shutdowns by governments are bad for corporate marketing on: September 23, 2020, 06:43:56 AM

Of course a company that ships physical goods isn't affected by an internet shutdown, but they still lose their social media marketing abilities, because no one can read them.

Seriously though, does anyone happen to know the cause for the loss of internet today?
Our world is now modernized and any job requires internet and technology. So the loss of internet in a few hours for a country has a huge impact on the jobs and income of many technology companies.
Although I don't know where the cause comes from, I hope the government should seriously stop this problem. Internet disconnection will affect the lives and work of many people at that time.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the prospect of BAT in 2020? on: September 19, 2020, 05:12:00 PM
BAT = Basic Attention Token, the native token for Brave Browser.
with BAT, I think the holders need to hold for a very long time. BAT is not a technology altcoin or evolving any trend, it just develops the browser and it takes a long time to achieve good results.
so if you are a holder, you should decide to hold it for another 2-3 years, Brave's browser is good, but currently it is not well known. In 2020, with only the defi coin pumped up, BAT will not be able to do much. Of course this is just my personal opinion, hope it can help you.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UNI - The First Trillion Dollar Crypto? on: September 19, 2020, 01:41:34 PM
The current defi trend is very strong and the cash flow is continuously pouring into it, the fact that Uniswap is a billion-dollar business is also possible if the defi trend can last for another year. But I found that the investment trends that appeared in Crypto never lasted for more than a year. The first is the ICO trend, which collapsed after 1 year. followed by the IEO, which was no longer hot after four months of strong activity. As for the defi trend, I do not predict but the higher the capitalization of UNI, the possibility of bubble bursting will be very soon. be careful.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you going to buy into these high rising defi coins now? on: September 19, 2020, 01:26:13 PM
Buying defi coins now is fine too, because the market has just had a strong correction and you definitely won't have to buy the highest price. UMA, DIA, Ampleforth are all great projects but I would suggest investing for you for newer defi coins. Invest in the coins backed by the Alamenda fund, there are a lot of whales out there willing to push the price up very high. In the near future we will have Hedge and RAMP, which are the projects that are being fomo a lot.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I need advice about my portfolio, can someone help? on: September 18, 2020, 05:07:51 PM
Investing in the top coins is fine, but that's not the way to go in the crypto market. you can hold for many years in the stock market, but not with the crypto market. Every year there will be a trend emerging and we need to take advantage of that time to make a lot of money. We have a Defi trend now, speculating on defi tokens helps us x account faster than ever this season. Please spend about 40% - 50% to speculate on defi tokens, SRM is a coin that many people fomo strongly.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins like Uniswap and Sushi on: September 18, 2020, 04:56:01 PM
It is possible for new coins to reach top 20 list. Uniswap and Sushi are quite popular these days. I wonder if these coins will remain their position in the top 20 list.

The market cap is large but does not mean its value is forever high. In the crypto market there are always horrible manipulations, just like in 2017.
So be careful when determining to hold those tokens long, as it only appends based on the defi trend. but the trend can be lost at any moment, the sell-off will happen soon.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: UNISWAP (UNI) is driving me CRAZY!! on: September 18, 2020, 04:50:57 PM
I was quite surprised to see the value of the UNI token, it was beyond my imagination and it is really the highlight of the crypto market right now. I wished I did airdrop or trading on UNI before September. There are so many unexpected events from the founder of UNISWAP, these events will definitely be recorded in the history of crypto market.
97  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cryptocurency is real money real asset but why not insured? on: September 17, 2020, 05:16:10 PM
Insurance is an industry that can make a lot of money but no one can develop in the crypto market. I know that the risks of trading or investing in crypto markets are very risky, but the important thing is that all the information there is fake and we cannot easily find them. So if insurance companies enter this market, they will only lose money. finding out cheaters or thieves is very difficult, it seems that no one can find it. Perhaps that is why there is no insurance company that dares to operate in this market.
98  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency btc futures leverage trading is scam on: September 17, 2020, 04:30:57 PM
leverage trading (margin trading) is not considered a scam. If you take a look at it and you will surely realize that many people can still get rich through full time trading. The important thing this is the game of gambling, it affects the psychology a lot. The initial loss is a sure thing for all traders, this industry is really hard to make money. So you should not accuse margin trading as a scam, just because you do not have enough knowledge and experience to make money.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading site? on: September 17, 2020, 07:27:04 AM
Hi Guys

I have tried the likes of Binance and Bitterex, but they aren't accepting any new users at the moment.

Poloniex have been processing my photo ID for over a couple days now, has anyone got any recommendations for alternatives?

If the supporters in the big exchanges above are always busy then I recommend using Huobi or MXC exchange. There are still lots of people trading there and the daily volume can reach billions of dollars. especially they always take care and take good care of customers, KYC censorship only takes place for a few hours. I think you should try the experience in the above 2 exchanges, transaction fee as well as other exchanges but the service is very good.
100  Other / Archival / Re: August 2020 has set new records in trading volumes on: September 14, 2020, 02:07:11 PM
Bitcoin halving events and stock market volatility in countries have brought the crypto market a lot of new investors. After the bitcoin halving, everyone knows about the supply shortfall that will lead to a rise in the price of bitcoin, which is why there are so many volumes of transactions this month. It is expected that in the near future volume will increase further before Bitcoin breaks its old peak and our crypto market will grow as large as other centralized financial markets. This is a very good signal for holders.
