If you would rise It to 3 mBTC, I might join It would 1 mBTC sounds kind of small for 50 mBTC wager. At least for me.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's brave/stupid enough to invest their life savings into Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2014, 06:48:01 PM
I don't think he randomly invested in bitcoins[ nobody would be stupid enough to invest all their life's earnings into one thing].Although he took a great risk according to investors but this did pay him!
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Request for a bitcoin irc chat board on: September 05, 2014, 06:46:14 PM
I am thinking that the chat board will turn into spam board in no time. The mainchat will be flooded by people asking for donations or posting their site links. Hope this issue can be resolved.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are You Spending Bitcoin? on: September 05, 2014, 06:43:38 PM
I am spending bitcoins only for paying someone for services or simply exchanging into cash via Western union, xoom or moneypak.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: September 05, 2014, 06:40:45 PM
I wouldn't keep such a high amount of bitcoins in only one wallet, possibly distribute it into 20+ wallets, all of which will be cold.

I also wouldn't mind having a paid antivirus program.
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Which Wallet should be suggested to a newbie? on: September 05, 2014, 06:37:39 PM
Bitcoin-qt, blockchain.info and btc-e are some of the good ones. All of them offer A class security so you don't have to worry about hacker getting in and hacking database or your account being hijacked easily, unless your computer has virus.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Average Joe thinks about Bitcoin on: September 05, 2014, 06:36:20 PM
I think the mindset of people should be changed regarding bitcoins. I have seen many cases when people seem interested in bitcoins but don't like hassle going through all exchanges. They prefer money processors like Paypal.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Top US Colleges Begin Offering Bitcoin Courses on: September 05, 2014, 06:31:57 PM
I have seen some places where business students, specially the MBA students are taught about cryptos and they are mainly introduced to bitcoins. Some of them have even softwares to practice trading[with virtual  money ofcourse]
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sound Wallet Stores Your Private Keys on Vinyl on: September 05, 2014, 06:30:28 PM
That is a great way of keeping private info safe. I think even the basic encrypting is strong enough to resist cracking for few hundred years I guess. Now this audio one will resist for thousands of years even with fastest supercomputer.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually spend bitcoins ? and for what ? on: September 05, 2014, 06:28:56 PM
I generally spend my bitcoins only to get Western union or moneygram funds. Kind of investment in my opinion. I also pay with bitcoins for virtual services like graphic work or webpage design.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will be bigger than Facebook on: September 05, 2014, 06:20:47 PM
I have full faith that bitcoin will attract lot of investors[as many of wall street people are already doing]

So bitcoin in terms of investors and investment will beat facebook in few years.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is someone on a mini-donation spree? on: September 05, 2014, 06:12:06 PM
Seems like a newbie trying to amaze everyone/ trying to get everyone's attention. He is member of this forum too, I suspect.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Predictions : Mining of new bitcoins stops tommorow on: September 05, 2014, 06:10:37 PM
If bitcoins stop coming then there won't be any drastic/major effect on rates and market. However if miners are all removed then it will pose lot of problems in transactions confirmation. BTC will have to require additional systems of its own for verification.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Core Developer says Bitcoin Too Fragile and in its Infancy on: September 05, 2014, 05:53:43 PM
I still have a feeling that bitcoins is in its early stages. The philosophy of bitcoin rising to the moon can seem true if bitcoin is infant now. Moreover BTC is spreading fast now.
15  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So who has been selling 500+ btc daily on Bitstamp? on: September 05, 2014, 05:35:59 PM
It seems that someone is trying to disturb the BTC economy. I have seen such transactions on blockchain too.

Sounds weird indeed.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you name your baby Satoshi for 150 bitcoins? on: September 05, 2014, 05:33:58 PM
I would definitely name one of my kids as Satoshi. The name feels more of Japanese origin. I can easily tell my neighbours that our ancestral families come from Japan Smiley)
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: I got bored so I started mining on: September 04, 2014, 06:36:06 PM

18  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What to do with one full bitcoin? on: September 04, 2014, 06:33:45 PM
I have one full bitcoin. What form of investment would be available for this amount and what are the risks involve?
There is no any game bitcoin doubling game in reality other than scams in this mighty internet world.Your mind has to work at proper place where you want to invest the $500 worth of coin to get you right profit.Just be aware of lendings and ponzi schemes
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how does it bitcoin work? on: September 04, 2014, 06:31:56 PM
What can  bitcoin do? How do you make itbecome a money making machine?
Money also works when you believe it's worth the money and it can trade with other things in this world. So is bitcoin people gave a value and certain valuation to it which is how the bitcoin works.Even though not the whole world accepts it as their primary mean of payment many percent of us do so.
