The problem is the issuer can revoke or cancel your identity/invitation up to a certain point. Someone else on here can probably explain it better, but I think if that happens you would lose the coins that you had locked after validation.
Yes but ... total reward from single invitation if your invitee become verified (3 epoch old), during last epoch was 33 + 98 + 198 = 329 iDNA - if you terminate the node you invited that is how much coins you are resigning off. New node during 3 epochs will mine 388 coin and will get around 100 coins for validation = 488 coins. And he will loss 80% of that = 390 coins My loss is quite the same as person i've terminated. So it's more like an extreme case scenario when someone terminates a node that he invited. It's not something that is commonly used for fun. And it is suggested in FAQ to take invitation from someone you trust. Most often a quick talk is enough to know if you are talking with normal person or crazy bustard that wants to loss 330 coins to make you loss 390. That makes sense. Just got the validation key on the telegram hopefully this time I will not fail the verification. Also, this time I think I will add the validation date as an event so that I don't miss it lol.

just saw that the team added #DeFi to the twitter bio, can anybody develop on that? never hear Haven was into Descentralized finances category before.
I mean, of course with the untraceable USD and all. but there are no %, liquidity mining, staking or DeFi things going on, right?
thanks.
Obviously, the Haven team decided to also take part in this DeFi madness that is now happening in the crypto market. I do hope that they can take advantage of the DeFi madness because price needs to recover a lot. I bought my XHV at around .00014 and after this BTC crash XHV too have crashed to .00008

BTW I just recently noticed that coinmarketcap finally removed ERD and added EGLD to their website the link can be found below. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/elrond-egld/Does anyone have any idea when coinmarketcap will list the newly swapped eGLD coins on their platform? My tokens at binance got automatically swapped but sadly I just saw that I have a few more ERD on a decentralized wallet is there any way to swap them now.
Mainnet Token Swap: Convert ERD into eGLD via the Elrond Swap Bridge read more here https://elrond.com/blog/elrond-token-swap-bridgeThanks for the bridge link

Sadly I was away from my computer during the last validation period because of that I have failed the verification. Can I re-apply to get verified using the same address or I will have to use a different address this time.
Thanks
No matter what happens you keep the same address (public key for transfers/priv key) If you were candidate or newbie than you need another invitation to be able to take part in validation (to become miner). Always, if you are not sure what you are supposed to do, check your current task. Thank you very much for the infographics that really helped me. I was trying to do get an invitation from the flip school but, suddenly a random guy asked if I need an invitation code would it be safe to use that invitation code? Or should I get them from flip school?

No bud sadly there are not many good projects that are airdropping their coins/tokens. My suggestion if you want some free good coins then try coinbase earn or coinmarketcap's earn because they give coins from good already live projects.

What are the chances that Vitalik's developer team will release some sort of fork that will make the network a bit more scalable before the launch of ETH 2.0? Or we will have have to ride a high fee phase until 2.0 launches?
|
|
|
The fees to send ETH are minimum $5 in fees ... is it going to change back to "normal"? Who dictates how much fees are charged?
If ETH is claimed to be decentralized where are those high fees coming from if not from a centralized party?!
I just had to pay around $48 to transfer $8 worth of ETH. The developer team really need to do something about it because it's getting out of hand now. I just hope they will release some update before the launch of ETH 2.0

With the DeFi boom in full swing, there have been a slew of projects jumping on to bandwagon. An interesting project I found was Flamingo Finance which was tweeted about by Da Hongfei. (Apparently, NEO has been helping to develop this project.) Unfortunately, not a lot of information is available about this project. My question, however, is: Why is NEO creating an entirely new platform or coin when it could just develop a platform based on the NEO token or leverage another platform on an existing network like Switcheo. Any thoughts on this?
I was wondering before why NEO started pumping and then came across this post. Switcheo was not that successful so I think they are trying to go a different way this time with DeFi?

DeFi projects are giving a crazy boost to crypto right now but, at the same time, lots of fake/scammy projects are popping out of uniswap so we need to ride this DeFi wave by being extra careful.

I do hold a few LTC but, sadly not much is happening with LTC lately. I hope that LTC will once again show us a crazy run as it did back in 2017 and 2019. LTC made lots of millionaires during those two years.

Hello,
I need to do an own token or altcoin but can’t consider on which blockchain to base it? I need FASTEST one... so that transactions were confirmed in a few secs. So it shouldn’t be an Ethereum blockchain but something else.
Please let me know which blockchain to use for creating token/altcoin over it.
Thanks.
If you want the fastest and cheapest way to create a token then head over to WAVES platform the fees they charge is really low. ETH is bit on expensive side right now because of gas fees. I am not sure but, I think you can also create tokens on Harmony's chain.

Crypto can surely overtake but It will take a lot of years to do so because currently, gold's cap is sitting at trillions of dollar whereas the market cap of the whole crypto space is at just $355B(at the time of writing).

DeFi still has a long long way to defeat the current financial institution because it's still a fairly new concept but, if the DeFi keeps booming the way it is now then I say why not in the next few years DeFi can definitely replace traditional banking.
|
|
|
In terms of the market cap, there are very few projects that can overtake ETH but in terms of the price, I think there are already a few projects that are trading above ETH price. But when it comes to worldwide adoption I don't think anyone can beat ETH.

I have blockfolio on my iphone. I have it for years and i notice for a long time., when you click on home, it shows all the coins you are tracking... but they are not up to date. Example you need to click on btc, and then it will immediately show you the current price. But whne you look down on your coins like bch and other coins, none are updated. You need to manually click on each coin in order to get the current price. Is that how its been for a while? I notice this issue for almost a year i believe. I do update it when it needs an update.
Any other apps like blockfolio that isn't lagging? I like it but i find it annoying i need to click on every coin to find the current price. I mean back then i recall you click home, it updates all the coins in your portfolio.
Blockfolio takes a really long time to refresh data (I am used to it) and by the time it had finally refreshed the data the price changes already. For real-time quick updates try using different portfolio management apps. For blockfolio: As soon as you open the app you need to refresh the app by sliding finger down (iOS)

What's funny is the fact that people who insisted on pretending he's not a fraud got burned.
All the evidence of McAfee being a fraud was there in your face, and you shoved it aside in order to lose money.
Clown world indeed.
It's weird why people still wanna believe anything that McAfee says because he has proved time and time again that he promotes a project just for the money as soon as he runs away the project suffers badly. I learned that hard way by investing in his SETH.
