How long take bch fork  Huh

Follow live: https://cash.coin.dance/

Should take a few days. Some exchanges have already split both - Depends on exchanges.

During the morning hours before fork activation, the crypto trading exchange Coinex changed the futures market from BCHN and BCHA to BCH and BCHA to represent the split. At the time of publication, spot prices for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) on Coinex are $243 per unit while ABC’s airdrop token is $15.82 per unit. On Poloniex the ABC airdrop is swapping for $14 against USDT pairs, and on Coinflex ABC is trading for $11 per unit.

Announcement Regarding the Upcoming Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Hard Fork
Avatar
Michael Longoria
Monday at 18:39
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will be undergoing a network protocol upgrade on November 15, 2020 at approximately 4:00 AM PT (12:00 PM UTC).

In connection to the protocol upgrade, there has been a proposed chain-split between the two main BCH clients, Bitcoin Cash ABC (BCHA) and Bitcoin Cash Node (BCHN), making this a hard fork that may result in a chain split and additional token.

Bittrex will plan to support the chain with the most mining pool support as “Bitcoin Cash” with the BCH ticker.  At the time of posting, the BCHN client has the majority of mining pool support.

Bittrex will take the following steps in preparation for the BCH fork:

BCH wallets will be closed for deposit and withdrawal on November 14 at 12:00 PM PT (8:00 PM UTC)
A snapshot will be taken of user balances at the time of the fork – November 15 at approximately 4:00 AM PT (12:00 PM UTC)
The BCH wallet will remain closed until the hard fork is complete and it is deemed safe to open. Trading will remain active during this time.
Following completion of the hard fork, Bittrex will evaluate and review the BCHA token for listing. In the event Bittrex lists BCHA, only the BCH held on your account during the on-exchange snapshot may be eligible for BCHA chain split tokens.

The Bittrex BCH on-exchange snapshot completion will be Tweeted from the @BittrexExchange Twitter account.

We will not recover incorrectly made cross chain deposits under any circumstance due to the lack of replay protection.

Don't worry - I have been watching the progress along with many others. Simply being a troll is not
anything that interests me, but there are millions of them posting to the Forum. The new accounts
with numerous replies usually only show up to troll and provide no real insight whatsoever.

I disclose that I am a big holder of Bytom along with numerous other crypto projects. Thank you for
your efforts and all the updates.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: November 08, 2019, 12:04:56 PM
Xrp holders assume the entire worlds wealth will flow through their centralized shitcoin . If banks wanted to use xrp, why aren't they signing up to xrapid as fast as they can? Truth is they love ripple but not xrp. Swift will adapt to blockchain ,xrp will be redundant.

Because you have no idea how banking world functions, that doesn't imply XRP won't be used.
You're just making fool of yourself

Yes, we all know. Actually, do us a fovor, instead making 50+ posts like this, why don't you make
1 big post. Tell us about all the 1st of month for the next 5 years, so we don't forget

It’s impossible to do the favor cause he needs these 50+ posts with that crap of signature below  Wink

Useless tools without comparison. I have 1 single post that is it. The idiot who claims that I have 50+ posts is obviously too far gone and has lost common sense. The markets failure is confirmed by the price movement not any fanboy comments. The sales volume is sited as a great achievement, but is only moving high volumes due to the extremely low prices. The most manipulated crypto is XRP and the ending will be ugly. Fading into the sunset in the near future. So happy I sold long ago.

Good times to buy and hold XRP  Grin  Cool

Now that I see this chart, I notice for how little time XRP the orange and green lines stay close to each other, then the orange line skyrockets. This is when XRP outperforms BTC and this usually brings it to market cap position 2.
Think this is happening again? I do!

Definitely you right thanks for sharing that chart, and also aside from ethereum I expect xrp will boom and rise their proce expensivity in the crupto market cap.

8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Zclassic, Zcash Fork No Premine, No 20% Founders Tax on: September 09, 2018, 03:51:53 PM
The most confused people in the world right now are... ZClassic holders. They didn't get the $200 pump they wanted, now with a day left in bitcoin anonymous fork, they're not sure when to dump, LOL

Holders would be more longterm thinkers. All the crypto markets are taking big losses and this may continue for a while. If you believe the ANON project is
worth an investment and has a real team behind them, why not invest in the project. They could have gone many different ways or launched another ICO project
that have proven to be smashing failures for all the millions of dollars by hopeful investors. You could sit back and watch your investments crash 30 - 40% by
just holding on waiting for the bottom that seems to be quicksand right now.

I have no problem taking a 2 to 1 investment in ANON and still supporting ZClassic albeit moving off of Bittrex due to their position on this fork and supporting
cryptopia (which should gain substantially by tomorrow). ZClassic will still move forward without you're support and we will all wish you the best in whatever cypto
you're investing in without feeling the need to post like a complete troll on other markets as so many of the recent comments have done.

Sure we all hope the price will go up, do other market investor hope for the same? Most of us will still be holding ZClassic years from now so tomorrow is just another
day with an opportunity to invest in a potential project that has a far better chance to succeed than thousands of other complete sham projects raking in millions.

Wish all of you the best of luck and a better future.

Dear Cryptopians

We are pleased to announce support for the upcoming ANON (ANON) fork.

All users holding Zclassic (ZCL) or Bitcoin (BTC) balances on Cryptopia at the time of the snapshot (1:00 AM UTC on 11 September 2018) will be airdropped ANON. BTC holders will receive 1 ANON per 1 BTC (1:1 ratio) and ZCL holders will receive 2 ANON per 1 ZCL (2:1 ratio).

Please complete any ZCL and/or BTC deposit and trades on Cryptopia before 11 September 2018 at 1:00 AM (UTC) for them to be taken into account for the snapshot. Any additional balances held after this time will not be counted towards the ANON airdrop.

Once the snapshot is complete, we will implement the ANON wallet and airdrop ANON to eligible Cryptopia users. We are unable to provide an exact listing date at thistime; however, we will provide further updates as they become available.

Kind regards,

The Cryptopia Team
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: February 19, 2018, 01:02:35 PM
Bancor is still under ico price, and makes 40% loss in ETH scale, which is unacceptable, although the team does the work hard, they may lack some skill to let investors make money.

If we see Bancor's value based on parity with ETH then yes, you are right. First we need to set a base currency as measure to judge the value of any project because large majority use which suits them. Fiat was used to buy Ethereum so it isn't like this in fact. Bancor is undervalued now but isn't under ICO anymore. It is different perspective of view of everyone.

Well there is making fast money and making big money....I have been at this for years so my take is buying and holding onto Bancor will be a big payoff.
Way back when bitcoin was called overpriced at $ 100 - I laughed and kept buying.
Way back when Ripple was under $ .01 - Trashed with FUD yet I laughed and kept buying
Way back when NAV was selling between $ .01 and $ .05 - This was a little tougher, but I kept buying.

My point is simple, if you do not see the real value of a project long-term this game may not be for you. Simply buy into whatever is trending today and be happy with whatever spare change you make. I will happily hold onto my 20k + Bancor
and keep buying. Eventually I will be posting the above way back updates on another market reminding everyone that Bancor was once very cheap with all the potential for huge gains and still so many missed it. If you are closely watching the
crypto markets, maybe you scratched your head like me at the Bitconnect fiasco and could not believe so many fell for the fast and easy profit way of investing. I truly believe in Bancor and will continue to support for numerous reasons, but if you
do not see it, then by all means just walk away. See link below posted on Coindesk today and do some research on your own before investing please.

I am really learning to love Bitsend after I had big costs sending Bitcoins over the last days. At one time I paid one fifth of the transferred amount in transactions fees. Ridiculous! I hope Bitsend will find its niche between all the Bitcoin forks and grows to a perfect alternative. Keep the good work up, guys!

Btw. how many Bitsend will be at maximum? Coinmarketcap does not provide a max supply for BSD.

Why would people even buy BCash when we have Iota now

Because BCash is the best Bitcoin, while IOTA is merely broken smoke and mirrors - at least as far as being a money is concerned. Sure, it's enjoying a meteoric rise right now. But there will be tears.

BCash holders are already crying  Grin Grin Cheesy

In my opinion, mods should ban anyone who uses "bcash" in here because it is almost like fraud, deceiving and misleading the users by not using "Bitcoin Cash". Very disrespectful, low class and trashy to use "bcash", but hey, that's just me.

Ps. "Class" has nothing to do with wealth. A rich person can be low class and a poor person can be high class. It is a state of mind.

Bcash is disruptive so we are going with Bcash as the official name of bitcoincash :-D you new here?<<<

When you continue to make false claims like----Bitcoin Cash (The Real Bitcoin)-------Please be ready for the fallout. Bitcoin Cash is not the real bitcoin, but people
like this will keep me from investing for sure. Maybe they are confused in S. Korea or something. There is only one bitcoin and then there are copies, counterfeits and
complete scams. Keep up the comedy though, this has been a lot of fun tonight...
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Upcoming events on december 2017 and 2018 that could depress Bitcoin cash price on: November 27, 2017, 02:29:43 PM
1 - With Bitmex dumping Bitcoin cash and crediting users with bitcoin, the liquidation event could depress Bitcoin cash price according to the below link.

2 - Grayscale Investments recently announced its intention to sell the bitcoin cash held by its Bitcoin Investment Trust (OTC: GBTC) — a fund that currently holds more than $1 billion in assets — and distribute a dividend to its shareholders according to the below link.

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitmex-to-dump-bitcoin-cash-and-credit-users-with-bitcoin/

3 - Bitcoin has 3 forks coming up that can lead to many want to hold bitcoin to get the free coins.

https://news.bitcoin.com/initial-fork-offerings-ifos-the-new-way-to-fund-crypto-projects/

4 - Some exchanges will credit Bitcoin holders per 1 august 2017 with Bitcoin cash on december 2017 and January 2018 which can result in selling free money for christmas expenses or for ideological reasons.

I applaud you sir for following along closely. Just the constant attack on bitcoin alone to promote cash is simply an attempt to manipulate people for their profit. New investors and futures trading markets are just beginning
around the world for bitcoin -- That is the bottom line.

Quick Update On The Community Vote And Network

Hi everyone! Just a very quick Monday update from the team.
It’s been a busy few weeks with the team involved in lots of planning/strategy sessions – but we’ve noticed some confusion around the community vote & a few other items, so we thought we’d give you a quick update.

Update on the community vote:

- The vote was originally set to last for 4 weeks, which is why it will show the vote as ‘ended’ in your wallet. However, the votes are still being counted on the network. We will extend the voting period for another 8 weeks.
We will be updating the Community Fund Vote page to reflect this, but do realise that there may be some confusion because the wallet will continue to say that they vote has ended. This will be addressed in the next wallet
   update.
- Part of the reason why we are extending the vote is that we’ve just had another 1.5 million coins update to the latest wallet version and are voting yes. With over 73% of blocks voting yes in the last 1000 blocks we are
getting VERY close to our target, and without needing to change the rules of the vote.
- We have been very hesitant about changing the rules of the vote mid-way through the voting period. There was lots of support from the community about excluding old wallets from the vote – but because this rule wasn’t
outlined before the vote, it walks a fine line between ‘doing what the community wants’ versus ‘changing the rules to get what we want’. We want this vote to be seen as fair, and without intervention – hence our hesitation
  around changing the rules.
- So TL/DR:
The Community Vote is being extended for another 8 weeks
We are very close to getting the 75% required (73.8% in last 1000 blocks).

https://navcoin.org/news/quick-update-on-the-community-vote-and-network/?utm_content=buffer2f5d1&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

Thank you for the update. Everything will work its way out.

I would like to put some thought into getting a NAV-USDT market for many of us who have way too much in USDT now and would like to move more into NAV. I personally do not
have full confidence in tether, but have been able to use this market to sell much higher than btc prices for other coins. Having a Nav option would only help add to the overall volume
invested in Nav. So many times in the past it was easy to help move Nav prices in btc, but the buy order books are too low. Trading in Nav-USDT may not be a big market for now, but having
so much money in tether is an uneasy feeling.
Any other opinions are welcome for sure. For me it would help out and the amount of money in the USDT market has grown tremendously due to the early bitcoin buyers taking out small
amounts of their profits while prices are high, but looking for other options to invest in with limited options.

I voted yes, but I really think that dev team should be more transparent about how many NAVs they're holding.

Exactly! Looks like it's a do not touch subject... Roll Eyes

As far as I know all the development has been founded by Craigs personal funds.

And whatever Dev team used to have has been spent last year keeping the project afloat. Bear in mind that before this year the value of NAV was trading below 3k sats and BTC's value was below 1000 usd.

And yet we get no transparency on that matter, don't we?

What's so hard to just say "hey we have THIS amount"?

This!

And still no response from the team, just nothing!? It's gonna damage the price so bad (it already did)...You should be transparent like a jellyfish, if you're gonna "demand/ask" 1% fee for development.

Broken record.
Suggestion # 1: Invest in other markets where the members give you their real names and provide you weekly updates along with deliver real progress.
Suggestion # 2: Don't invest. Ultimately this is a community vote so the majority will decide. You can vote how you choose to.
