I am just getting into C2 is it wise to purchase C2 now or wait until after the swap?  If you have read the detailled information doc about the project, you will find that there will be a swap ratio of 5:1 ...means 5x less coins btw @nrigo, don't think you need to open another thread to discuss this coin improvement project. I've read it again and personally think everything's said is well thought and for the very best of C2 A new POS tech, with lower inflation, will be much better. Wondering what you have in mind as your fifth factor about marketing, but overall it's a nice recipe of winning factors. I guess most here agree to what you've proposed, shows how serious C2 is and moving forward. well my 2cents. |

If the community agree with this project, the new Coin2 value may be more than 1500 Satoshi. About 1000S for the supply decrease and about 500S for the technology improvements.
As the price may be affected by the Bitcon value, we would prefer to provide a flat target price that would be around USD 0.01

Nav coin just did an exchange swap and all went really well. Just noticed that in your charts, you made calculations based on the total amount of coins, but if I remember right, there were a good % of coins probably lost because of Mintpal and more recently Cryptsy. I don't know if these exchanges addresses are known, but they should be banned from a swap. I'm sure a non-negligible amounts of coins are lost forever... and this makes C2 right now so undervalued. yeah there is bitcoin going up, but C2 is totally oversold. Luckly C2 was never on Cryptsy.  So we all safe from that! ahh didn't knew.. than that's better. But do we have an actual % of coins that went to oblivion because of Mintpal? |

To be honest, just stick with ShadowMarket. Who the fuck cares if the word 'shadow' has a negative connotation? Don't censor yourself. You should be proud of the name ShadowCash / Market. And especially don't Darkcoin / Dash this awesome project by rebranding. If whoever has a problem with this project's name, tell them to stop being whiny cunts and to go fuck themselves.
I wouldn't put it quite so harshly, but I have to agree. The moment they changed Darkcoin to Dash I was no longer interested. Still have a few coins, but could care less what they do. Sort of like a great heavy metal band that starts changing their music so they can pander to a wider audience. It NEVER works! In my opinion SDC should stay true to it's original theme, and let the technology do the talking. let's see what a random guys/girl that hear for the 1st time about ShadowMarket could say : "Hey ShadowMarket, lol, I guess there's plenty of illegal stuff in there, and like a ghost/shadow, it could disappear with my money... trustability = -1, won't touch with a 10feet pole" It's just a guesstimate of what would be the 1st impression of many.. I think the market should have a name different than Shadow just to represent 3 things : safety, anonymity and diversity. This name should also greatly help the brandability of this market without creating misconception. It will still be "Powered by ShadowProject" or such, so that's not a complete name change as few here seem to fear... it's only a name given to the market. already some good names have been proposed at https://talk.shadowproject.io/ I don't really like the mythology gods thingy though |

Damn, some sell orders on polo today for under 1000 sat! Fell right into my lap!  lucky bastard  just woke up and missed that. but I too was able to grab around 50k last few days from ppl dumping below or around 1000sats hahahaha I even counter a kind of price suppression yesterday (decent sell order below 1000sats, wtf?). Completely fked up imho cuz nav price is already so suppressed. near 10k sats should be the price with the anon tech,features,new chain. BTW, devs : Is the talk with Poloniex for the swap still going on? I have some nav on polo, will wait a bit before moving them on bittrex |

Nonsense. EVERY coin worth talking about has had it's drawbacks and temporary failures. The most important aspect of any coin is having developers with talent, great vision, communication, and determination to move forward as planned. If anything, when the anonymity was partially broken it was an epiphany moment. SDC developers responded with amazing speed and clarity. They supplied not only a fix, but even greater features, and an improved road map. It was a moment when those paying attention should have realized how serious this coin really is... A very short time later SDC is already a far better coin! well said, Totally agree |
