it was never cheap, the market cap on poloniex started at 800k, so about 0.00180. the IPO were getting it for 0.001 as far as i know. there may have been earlier buyers but as far as i know it was never dirt cheap and available to everybody. this coin is the only unique coin right now, easy 50m market cap. what the hell are you talking about? There was no IPO. Trades started really cheaper than 0.001... ah sorry. my mistake. not ipo. i mean on the monero exchange thread they were selling for 0.001 for quite a while. my bad. |

Mintpal is double edged sword....some coins die once they go there while others succeed
yup shitcoins die once they hit mintpal, after a long battle to the top of the list. silk isn't a shitcoin, and has risen to the top incredibly fast, in a week. |

This coin is somehow rising up the voting list on mintpal so fast, it went from 50th position to 12th in a few days.. I think people are quickly realizing that as soon as it hits mintpal where all the large investors are its a 5m+ market cap coin.

I hope Darksend Masternode investors did their homework on Ring Signature technology. When coins already exist (Monero) that are more anonymous than Darkcoin/Darksend without requiring centralized nodes only accessible to those rich enough to afford the arbitrary amount, it stands to topple your whole system.
Monero is like a decentralized Darkcoin if you think about it.
This Price will go easy over 0.01 Funny, because Monero's Ring Signatues have horrible scaling/bloating issues. Darkcoin's Masternodes are already as anonymous as the Ring Sigs, and don't forget Evan is going to implement Ring Sigs and I2P.
