I have a 16 core processor on an old deep learning machine that I rewired to GPU mine. This leaves me with quite a bit of extra processing power in the CPU to mine with. What is the best coin to CPU mine right now? For reference, my electricity is free.
Profit switching on cryptonote would be best. Whatever is the most profitable cryptonote coin at a given time based on difficulty and price. Would you recommend any specific client-side profit switchers specifically? Or would you recommend writing my own bash/python client? Shouldn't be too hard I imagine. Nicehash supports cryptonote, it would be the easiest.

Why?
The harder it is to get drugs, the more people can charge for it. The higher the cost of a drug, the more people are willing to risk (their lives) to smuggle it. Let's say you have a kid, and your kid needs a surgery or they will die. Someone comes to you and says.. Take these 50 kilos of meth to the philippines and they will give you $100,000.. Enough to pay for your kid's surgery... Would you risk it? Or let your kid die? Let's say you're some dirt poor filipino who makes 250 pesos a day. Someone offers you $100,000 (5M pesos) to fly to china, pick up 50 kilos of meth and bring it back to the philippines. How many do you think would do it? .. Just look at singapore and indonesia.. They've been putting people to death for drugs for a long time now... And they're still doing it.. Why? Because people are still willing to risk their life to make quick money. If you want to end the drug problem you need to give people somewhere to go in life. If the government of the philippines had spent the last 10 years building infrastructure and fixing their fucked up / corrupt system then people would be able to get a job, more companies would come to the philippines. But, they spent the last 10 years doing fuck all and stealing all the money they can. Companies don't want to go there because it's a big hassle to deal with the PH government and all their cronies looking for bribery money. I sent my wife to register a company in Makati. The girl processing the paper wanted money from my wife to process the papers. We registered the company in HK instead (where they have infrastructure, rule of law, and modernized non-archaic systems) and my filipino employees are all considered contract workers to the HK company. PH government in the end, gets zero tax money from me because of one dumbass who expected bribes to do her fucking job. If I was a filipino, I'd be on drugs too. The country is so fucked. And, the reason it's fucked is because of the culture. You know who should be shot in the streets? Your senators, congressmen, mayors, and other elected officials. But, really, it's your own fault for electing these corrupt people in the first place. Everyone is all anti-dynasty, but keep voting for the members of the dynasties! Insanity. You guys remind me of these idiots who keep getting screwed over by the ASIC manufacturing companies. You keep doing the same thing expecting different results.

Why not? Problem with believing aliens inevitably exist out there is that there will be all kinds of them. Those that would avoid us and those that wouldn't. For whatever reason we might not even understand. As for ways to travel between stars we can already think of some. Generational ships for example. May take a long time to reach the destination but should work. So maybe the question is why haven't we seen any of them yet?
Because we live in a redneck area of the solar system. We're BFE. There are areas of the solar system where the distance between stars is much smaller. A generational ship would turn to dust before ever having reached us. We can't even solve our most basic problems, what makes you assume that aliens are any better at it?

Youre better off bitting the bulllet an buying a 1600 watt evga, plug and play , it easily has enough connectors for 6 vega cards, I buy some server psus as a bridge sometimes for my 1000 watt psus to provide juice to some of the gpus and make the 1000 watt supplies less taxed, but I promisie you its much easier and simpler to power an atx board off an atx psu.
bunch of my 8 card rigs are stupidly unstable using server psus as sometimes when a rig reboots or dies since the gpu still is reciving full power from the server psu it never shuts down from the error
vegas are far more stable than modded rx cards so thigh might be a non issue
Those cost more than $50 and aren't designed for datacenter environments.. It's really not hard to buy a server PSU adapter board and plug stuff in.

Drugs are non negotoable type of deal. Drugs destroys someone's mentality and his ability to judge right from wrong. Drugs should not be taken lightly as some have already suffered from the acts if these pushers. I support a drug free philippines.
So does alcohol, and alcohol is a drug. You should ban it too. I don't drink, I don't like it, at all. I do smoke marijuana though. I have conditions which are approved for medicinal use in other countries. On top of that, it just calms me down. Yet, I'm not allowed to smoke. But if I wanted to drink myself to death, that's fine... I'm sure the hypocrisy will be lost on you. I lived in the philippines for 10 years and left once duetard got into office. You realize... Deutard was/is taking fentanyl right? The most dangerous drug known to man? Ah, but that's ok, it's 'approved by his doctor'.. Nevermind the same doctor said he's abusing it.. I've also seen a lot of people who weren't on drugs that couldn't tell right from wrong. There's a disconnect between your words and reality. Or are you suggesting that every criminal on the planet (including 99% of your senators, and congressmen) are all on drugs?

It's actually quite funny and ironic simultaneously! Can't be real though right? Saw a redit thread, apparently a couple people were able to get this design approved in foreign countries.. But, capital one, etc (USA) all rejected the design. Going to try to get it pushed through on my capital one card. I don't think AMEX allows custom designs except on their gift cards. The first crypto card that gets a license for this design and starts printing "shut up and take my money" cards -- will be an instant success..

I JUST RECEIVED AN UPDATE FROM BAIKAL! MY PACKAGE IS STUCK IN SHIPMENT! Note: i didn't actually order a baikal, I'm just trolling them because my miners (which were 50x more efficient than GPUs) got fucked by their firmware update and the $70K/mo profit I was making mining is now theirs..

I know this is crazy base on what people post at the Internet now a days.
•Do you actually believe in aliens?
Basing on people's posted video I would say yes what do you think guys? I hope I am not just the one who believes in aliens.
Anyone who doesn't believe [intelligent] life exists other than on planet earth is an idiot or religious (thus, an idiot). With the number of stars and planets revolving around them.. The conditions for life to emerge will inevitably occur.. For the religious people, I like to ask.. "Why did god create the entire universe if the only space that would be actively used by his creations was Earth?".. It's grandiose to suggest that (if god is real) he created an entire universe for a single creation on a single planet, in a single solar system. The better question is, "have aliens visited earth?".. Now, that answer is debatable. You'll get everything from 'no, just secret government projects, no aliens' to 'lizard aliens control the governments'. Who's to say that it's even possible to travel from one solar system to another in a timely manner? And, if it is, and an alien race is capable of doing so... Why would they care to visit some backward redneck planet at the edge of the solar system filled with self-indulgent, self-important bigots?

It Is possible to completely get rid of illegal drugs in the country by 2022 under the watch of President Rodrigo Duterte, according the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). In a forum in Manila on Tuesday, PDEA Dir. Gen. Isidro Lapena said Duterte’s initiative have pushed all concerned government agencies to triple their efforts in curbing the drug menace, noting that the government’s accomplishment in the antidrug campaign “has gone to a level that is more than five years of the previous administration."
Bullshit. If you believe that you don't know anything about humanity whatsoever and are a victim of propaganda. Welcome to the philippines. Leave logic, history and fact at the immigration queue.

email you have got is on November 15 and no one has received the waybill email beside you Don't worry! they're having "customs issues"... They need another 30 to 60 days to process! After customs issues... "Sorry we ran out of packing materials! Another 14 days to receive our packing materials!" then, 30 days later... People will receive waybills... Then after they receive waybills it will sit in a "Waybill printed." state (package not being given to DHL) for another 7 days I wish people would stop giving their hard earned money to these companies. The pre-order customers are assuming 100% of the risk and being abused on top of it. I disagree. I made my step in crypto with Antminer S7. It was a brilliant maschine and besides of that an amusing IT experience. Baikal mini and Cube also made profit, and more IT related enjoyment, with extra parameters and multi-algo.
For me it was fun and made some coins. I love Slushpool community. This is a passion.
But of course if you look huge profit within 1 month, you will disappointed. People should look inside themself. Greedyness is the main problem from the client side as well.
Come on, stop shilling. They took customer money in pre-order, used the customer money to do development work (customers are essentially investors as they're putting money into something that may never come to fruition)... Then, they're mining on the customer hardware to create profits for themselves instead of rewarding their investors by actually shipping out the hardware. They can do whatever they want with their second batch of hardware... But this hardware was promised to customers and now customer returns are being reduced by baikal's greediness. These batch 1 customers are the ones who accepted 100% of the risk of this business NOT baikal. If baikal had accepted the risk, they wouldn't have need to sell pre-orders and it would be totally fine for them to mine on the hardware. Anyone who thinks what they did and are actively doing is ok or makes justifications for it, is... #1) Chinese or #2) A shill.. You appear to be both.. Good story did you write it your own hands? NEVER! I have a ghost writer on payroll. I call him "mini-troll".

Could you please explain HOW dry air could cause ESD? Im an electritian and im clueless of what you speak The same way that clouds cause lightning. Particles rub together and build up a static charge. Then, when the charge is high enough to overcome the resistance to ground they discharge through the easiest path to ground. Humidity increases resistance. Probably should just add some filters, or clean the machines occasionally... Even if ESD didn't occur, it's still an eventual fire hazard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OV86jPo-vBg
