Anyone else getting work queue empty and high rejects today?

Did you mean to reset the payout history graph? It looks like it only shows for a month now?

Thanks, it went up about 30% or so. within the normal deviation now. Thanks again, go to sleep! Smiley

Thanks Slush,
One request, when you do the re-calc, please start at least on 142674. Even though it has a reward listed, it looks 40-50% low for me.

I had similar problems, not as severe though. I was getting 5-7% rejects. I changed server to the uswest and the problem went away. This was some two weeks ago.

I tried that as well, same result I'm afraid.

How's it going?

not great:
192 (250, 56.56%)   192 (250, 56.56%)

192 accepted, 250 rejected.

Test against another pool. Rejected shares usually indicate something broken in your mining setup such as unreliable hardware. It's also possible that some proxy or NAT device is mangling your data.

Yeah, already tried other pools, and have no problems there, that's why I'm not doubting my setup too much. Hardware isn't overclocked either.
9  Other / Beginners & Help / a ton of rejected/stale hashes on btc guild on: August 08, 2011, 05:15:19 AM
I just went to try BTC Guild since slush's was acting a bit weird for me. I've got 2 miners, one with about 330Mh/s and the other about 49Mh/s. The 49 one is getting something like 54% rejected:
[08/08/2011 00:56:18] Result: 5df198bc rejected
[08/08/2011 00:57:10] Result: 878a55f1 rejected
[08/08/2011 00:58:03] Result: a2caeda0 accepted
[08/08/2011 00:58:41] Result: f6e734b4 rejected
[08/08/2011 01:01:46] Result: 89f8bde5 rejected
[08/08/2011 01:01:50] Result: 11f47493 rejected
[08/08/2011 01:03:16] Result: 442823e8 rejected
[08/08/2011 01:03:40] LP: New work pushed
[08/08/2011 01:05:54] Result: 3d7843ef rejected
[08/08/2011 01:06:27] Result: 6a6bffd3 rejected

Using phoenix 1.5 poclbm. I tried a few setting changes, fastloop, worksize and aggression. Nothing changed the rejection rate, only the hashrate.
This is ubuntu, and I had a hell of a time getting it working (I still can't figure out how to OC the nvidia card without flashing the firmware), but it was working fine on slush and deepbit. My other miner's working fine, 0.5% rejected.

any ideas?
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MyBitcoin stole 2 bitcoins from me on: July 30, 2011, 03:44:52 PM
It's been nearly a month since they stole one from me, I stopped using them the next week after several messages to them and no response. I've been back to see if the coin showed up, or a response given. Neither have happened. (FYI it's a payout from Slush, shows in coinexplorer, with correct wallet, doesn't show in account).
Now it looks like the site is down.  I believe the site has decayed due to negligence, rather than outright scam, but it seems like there's no point in doing business with them anymore.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: cant underclock under 900MHz Memory on ASUS EAH6870 on: July 15, 2011, 03:07:46 PM
You'd think so, but for me it stopped the exact behavior described here with the memory speed. I was able to underclock (and have it stick) to 575, then after restarting the app, down to 300.

I found the solution,
edit the msiafterburner.cfg file and replace the two lines:
UnofficialOverclockingEULA   = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it
UnofficialOverclockingMode   = 2

I have the same problem on HIS 6870. It seems to be locked to the gpu speed in some fashion as changing that changes the lowest minimum memory speed.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any experience with Mybitcoin.com on: July 09, 2011, 05:57:04 PM
I had a payout of 1 btc from slush on 7/3 that never arrived at mybitcoin.
Here's the block explorer of the wallet address:

http://blockexplorer.com/address/16d6KQZyX5LAYehs3mYcCEjHvjPttjY5bt

It's clearly not in my history on mybitcoin. I've got nothing between 6/29 and 7/7. and on 7/7 the only thing is my withdrawal of what I had in there.

I've sent them a couple of messages, no response yet (been about 3 days).

I've got the same issue on the same block. It's been going for a while, and I was able to verify that I did have accepted hashes. Though I had a bunch of couldn't connect to server messages last night. Here's an example:
