So far, I see Brazil as the champions of this World Cup... They played very well against Switzerland and secured their place in the group... Of all the other teams I would not single out anyone who could match the quality of Brazil's play... It will be interesting to see how Portugal plays against Uruguay in the last match today... Will Ronaldo be able to score another goal?
Brazil success is having a quality squad. No doubt that they will win and secure 3 points against switzerland, although many people assume this match will end with a draw. Yes, I also want to see Portugal match against Uruguay tonight. Regarding Cristiano Ronaldo I'm not too sure he will scored, because this match will be difficult for Portugal to win. Uruguay has beaten Portugal in the previous world cup.

I remember when Uruguay beat Portugal in 1/8 when Edinson Cavani scored a double... But I think that this time Portugal will not lose and will even win this game... They have a young team and there has been a generation change of players, unlike the Uruguayan team... My bet is that both teams will score and Portugal will not lose...
THe game of thrones is about to start between Uruguay and Portugal.
Both teams seems to be very excited and nervous at the same time - my eyes on my fav Ronaldo

So far, the Germany-Spain score is nil and the match is pretty boring. I wouldn't really like to see either of these two teams drop out of the Championship, they will be interesting to watch in the play-offs, but this is the World Cup and weaker teams like to surprise... I think Germany will definitely make the playoffs
Does anyone know which country exports all the footballs for the big tournaments? That country do not play football at the international level
But they send football to the whole world? Can you guess the name of the country?
Spain 0 and German 0 at 61 minute

Spain V Germany

I'm enjoying the big match between Spain vs Germany now. Neither team could score in the first half. Germany will need to win today's match at any cost if they want to qualify for the next round. Because they lost the first match against Japan. On the other hand, since Japan lost today's match against Costa Rica. So a win in today's match will increase Germany's chances of qualifying for the next round.

I wouldn't say that Germany played very well today. The performance of Spanish players is more stable than that of Germany. And Spain's match strategy is better. My guess is that the match will also be a draw. Otherwise, Spain will win this match. Germany's chances of victory seem slim.
it's almost 60 mins by now. None of the team has been able to manage a single goal.
Morata has entered the field as a substitute - almost ten mins to the second half both the team nill  - nill
564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 27, 2022, 07:48:55 PM
Sadly Canadian performance was very upsetting. I think for some developed country where they have so much resources already they don't care much about the tough tasks - the players like Morocco have give their best to win the match.
Quality and experience make a difference in this regard. Canada is one of the debut teams again at this time for the world cup and they are doing this after a long absence because indeed the only chance to be here besides now is 1986 and even then they have to lose in the group phase so indeed with conditions like this it is clear that Croatia is superior.
On the other hand, in terms of player quality, Croatia still dominates, but I didn't expect the score to be like this, especially if you look at Canada's performance in the first game against Belgium.
While Spain and Germeny were playing - the German managed to make a goal but it was ruled out due to offside.
Now its half time and both German and Spain are nill - nill both.

Well let’s take Elon musk for example he hires people that are smarter than him who works very hard to build his own empire and he gets more super rich and while their employees just gets their normal pay. This is how Billionaires get rich and their employees earn the little they do.

I don’t think billionaires can do without some smart people around them, left alone they can only do as little as they can, and I doubt if there is any right thinking Employers that would even hire an employee who aren’t smarter especially when the employees are in very important position.
Right. Employers are given the full advantage to chose people smarter than them so that they can easily finish their jobs with almost perfection. And since they are more than good enough, employers will not spend more time anymore from training them as it seems their goals are in align with the employer’s goals. The smarter the employees, the higher the chances for the company’s growth and success.
And Elon thinks that only the smart people are white people and he is firing all the indian from Twitter.
But the formula is correct - he has been very smart in hiring the wise and smart people working for him and getting rich.

Simple thing, we discuss what he said. Why this is happening, because he have succeeded in it. If the same is being putforth by someone who have failed in life, we won't take into consideration. This is the difference between the successful people and the unsuccessful one. If you want someone to discuss what you putforth then you need to prove yourself to the world. This doesn't mean you need to follow someone's footsteps to be successful, be yourself which is the real success in life.

It's true, those who succeed when they say something will be revered by everyone and always believe it to be true, because those things are said to have helped them succeed. I'm not saying what he said is wrong but I agree with you that don't follow in anyone's footsteps to become successful, be yourself. Those things they can apply successfully, but not necessarily suitable for us. Let's discover for ourselves what suits us best, to make ourselves successful in our own way. People won't care how successful you are, but when you're successful, whatever you say will turn out to be right.
these people are the source of inspiration for all the world there life is the mix of happiness and sorrow
they have struggled so much I wish we get to know more about these people so that we also focus on the right and achieve success

We are not at war with the Palestinians. We are at war with terrorists and their accomplices who want to destroy us.
It is interesting how you defend Russian invasion and occupation of special operation in Ukraine. They say the same exact thing that they aren't at war with Ukrainians, they are just fighting terrorists and are denazifying the region. Wink
They think they are the biggest advocate of peace while they are destorying the peace of the world in half the world  -starting from Iraq - Iran- Afghanistan - Palestine Serya and they are actually in favour of peace - I fail to understand what kind of peace they are making? But invading the weak nation.

5. Don't invest suddenly
Is the result of "not spending without a plan" I suppose. Before making any investment decision, you need to take an honest look at your overall financial situation, especially if you have never invested before.
This also means don't trust anyone suddenly
There are scammer everywhere looking fwd to fool and grab people's wealth in the name of investment. I have recently been the victim myself and I hate myself for being fooled
569  Other / Politics & Society / Re: High inflation is causing GLOBAL protests on: November 26, 2022, 11:10:03 PM

Yes, it is undeniable that the economic crisis is getting worse after the war between Russia vs Ukraine. and it's true, if the war didn't happen it's possible that the global economy would improve slightly even if slowly for some countries. However, the problem of inflation still cannot be avoided even though the Russia vs Ukraine War did not occur. but certainly not as bad as today. because today's inflation is also part of the post-pandemic market shock. demand that suddenly soars after quarantine restrictions are lifted or after the pandemic is over. and supply cannot keep up with demand. an example is the demand for natural gas which has soared post-pandemic. although natural gas is available but still it is limited and cannot keep up with demand. coupled with the actions of several countries boycotting Russia. so that Russia also stopped shipping natural gas to several countries such as in Europe.
Be your own best advocate. Although everyone is complaining so much about about inflation but holiday shoppers are at the peak for the shopping.
I think many people are used to complaining all the time - but obviously they are shopping and dining out all the time even the inflation is at the peak.
570  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 25, 2022, 08:35:46 PM

Yep, it is surprising to see Argentina and Germany were beaten and got no points in the first match.
However, it is still the first match, we can't conclude they are weak and may be eliminated in the group stage. I'm sure both Argentina and Germany will struggle to get points in the next match. They may feel nervous in the first match.  Grin

There are a few teams which are creating so much hype that includes.
Saudia
Brazil
Portagal
Argentine
Spain

I have a question if anyone can answer - why are the main player called out of the field when the team is winning
earlier Ronaldo was replaced in the last minutes and in Brazil match Richarlison was being sent substitute
That is an opportunity for other players to contribute to the match after they are certain of victory. Sometimes the players they bring on as substitutes do well, and some of them are the main source of more goals in the match, so they are also very important.
thank you - for you response.
I have just started following the game - the FIFA fever is so high
572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 24, 2022, 08:59:08 PM
Brazil started a little late, but you could see that goal was going to fall sooner or later. They did not set a major score, but in the end they easily won 2-0. We are at the moment of writing this in the last minute of the game, it will probably not be 3-0 anymore. There were a number of big surprises in the first matches of the tournament, the losses to Argentina and Germany were the most striking and Germany was also eliminated in the group at the 2018 World Cup. If that happens again, you can still speak of a new nightmare.

I don't understand why a player of the class of Alphonso Davies could fail to convert the penalty opportunity given by the referee into a goal for Canada, maybe his mentality as a Canadian player is very different from when he played for Bayern Munich. In this second half maybe we won't see any additional goals or at least there will be 1 additional goal from Belgium, there will be no more chance for Canada to rise. What do you think?
Missing penalties is a natural thing, even many other star players who fail to do so when their team needs a win. So I won't think too much about the reasons why a player misses a penalty in one match.

Belgium was lucky in the end because Canada failed to take advantage of its opportunity to excel through a penalty. Belgium turned 1-0 up until the end of the match thanks to Michy Batshuayi's goal at the end of the first half. Canada played well with a few chances, but sadly they weren't really put to good use at the end of the match. Canada's defeat today made Belgium lead Group F with 3 points, while Croatia, who played a draw, is in second place.
Let's see if Canada is able to perform well in their next matches with Crosia and Morocco - they were not able to score even one goal in their match with Belgium but their goalkeeper did very well in today's match
But it was a slow game. Best to luck to Canada for their upcoming match
574  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 23, 2022, 08:53:26 PM
Belgium looks shaky but they leave the impression that they could score out of nowhere anytime they want and I'm curious how they will perform with Lukaku on the pitch because tonight they are kinda fortunate to beat Canada by 1-0, during the fact that Canada had a missing penalty but also 3 clear chances to score besides that  Undecided.

Looking at Croatia and Marocco , neither of them will have an easy game against Canada and I could see them beating both of them and moving out of group F with Belgium alongside.
very boring game it is between Canada and Belgium
After watching great game between Argentina and Saudia and JApan and Germany - this seems very boring
575  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 23, 2022, 08:51:15 PM
seems like many big team will be out soon. I don't know how Messi is feeling after losing the game from Saudia Arabia.
What a joy Saudis give to their nation and what a shock Argentina gave to their fans. Now Saudia which was not in the early discussion  is the hot favourite team of the world cup too

That wining over Argentina by the Saudis is really a big shock to the Argentines entirely, even with the early penalty that was awarded to them, It couldn't help matters. I still believe that the Lionel Messi side will have the opportunity to qualify from the group stage.
So as a lesson, let them know that there's no small team in this this year's world , unlike before where we usually have big teams dealt with the small teams.
But we hope and expect for more surprises
Argentina attempt at the goal was so much but the Saudi goalkeeper did an amazing job.
But I think the joy Saudi gave to many muslim countries is worth million and you are very right in mentioning that there is no small team.
576  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 23, 2022, 08:42:52 PM

Some teams have become really strong in this World Cup.Like yesterday we saw the game between Argentina and Saudi Arabia where the most powerful name Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia.Again today I saw that Japan beat Germany.Like in yesterday's match no one believed that Saudi Arabia would win and in today's match no one believed that Japan would win. But whatever one says is strong only when one can win a tough fight. All the teams that won the World Cup this year are really strong.
what a surprize Saudia Arabia and Japan gave to the world. I think Saudis are well calmatized with the Qatar weather too.
But the celebration in Saudia and UAE is still going on. The Saudi gov have given a day off in celebration of the win.
What a day for Saudis and Japanese.

I doubt they'll win their next game with 2 good players out of the game. They have one in the hospital and another one with a sprain or something.
Saudi Arabia showed their best in that match but I  just don't see them coming out of the group and the weather isn't going to play a part at all.
You are right but did you notice Saudi goalkeeper did so well in the match - I was thinking about MEssi too and I am looking fwd to see Ronaldo on the field too
What surprize Ronaldo is going to bring to us. I wish his team wins and don't give us shock like Saudis did to Argentina
577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: November 23, 2022, 08:33:06 PM
Most German fans expected a straight winning for the team since history is already favorable to Germany, but then this year's world cup is different from the others and full of unexpected game outcomes, but since we are at the group stage we may be seeing a new development in the next stage of the world cup when the bigger teams will start facing each other.

Germany did play well if we are being honest; the chances were difficult to convert because Germany played major parts of the game without a striker. Haverts is not a striker, i do not understand why coaches continue to use him in that position. Also football is a game of chances; Japan took their chances, defended well and got the 3 points deservedly
Japan did play very well and Saudia surprised us all
Its BEL and CAN playing  but the game is not that thrilling. The way Saudis and Argentia played yesterday was amazing. They were fast and quick in attacking.
Hope Messi is doing well. This is said to be his last world cup!

Before all these unrests started, the world was hit by covid and many countries were forced into lock downs which mearnt production and service delivery dropped massively which negatively affected people's earnings and livelihood. Then along the way when the world was recovering from the effects of covid Russia declared war on Ukraine which has had a snowball effect that's negatively affecting other countries which has brought all these problems... and the only solution to this is a standoff by both countries to get things back to normal better yet Russia stands down!
I agree there is so much inflation but there is so much propaganda which is adding fuel to the fire.

579  Economy / Economics / Re: 5 things you should not do with your money to get rich on: November 21, 2022, 11:26:45 PM
2. Don't brag about having a lot of money

Keep and make yourself that simple on which you dont really brag your richness into public or trying out to impress everybody on what you had attained.
This is safety hazard which is something you do really need to avoid as much you could.Better to be silent and do continue to grind and
achieve that financial freedom that you are really aiming for. Don't make yourself get exposed that you do have lots of money
or else you would be risking your life.

Money will surely impress people, especially the opportunist and they might only take advantage of you. Not everyone around you will celebrate your success but rather wish you bad luck because of envy and jealousy. It's better to win and enjoy your success in private because you don't have to please or even prove anything to the people around you. You can inspire others because of your success but not everyone sees the good side of it.
sometime all the bookish knowledge remain on one side and there are new rule we have to see and experience all the time in our lifetime

580  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree that an employer should hire employees who are smarter than him? on: November 21, 2022, 11:23:53 PM
I was listening to a YouTube video by a famous business man and he was saying that he prefers to hire employees who are smarter than him. Do you agree with this style of working?
I agree on that style because that's how companies do, you hire the best people even the people that are smarter than you. This is the reason why rich people become richer because they're hiring people who are smarter than them but works harder for them.

What are the possible intentions behind doing this?
Nothing, other than being wise and letting these people work for them. They hire smarter people than them but they're the wisest one.

Isn't their fear that these smart employees can steal ideas from office or get client details and then start their own companies? What is your view regarding this?
That's normal. But there are smart employees that would like to have job security instead of applying the ideas they've learned from their boss'.
there is a difference between hard work and the smart work - the smart worker are more efficient and bring so much value to the company but then most of them are arrogant too = they would leave the job at any moment to better himself
