1  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying Minecraft on: January 10, 2012, 02:43:20 AM
2 btc is the lowest price so far, any1 else?
I wouldn't recommend buying a "premade account". There is a chance it is stolen, you don't get to pick a username, and you can't even change the email.

Agree. I bought one on this forum and I soon lost it. Have not seen the seller since.

3  Economy / Goods / Cancelled: Star Wars: The Old Republic BETA key on: November 15, 2011, 08:28:21 PM
This year's most anticipated online role-playing game is called Star Wars: The Old Republic and launched a few days before Christmas. But you need not wait so long to get it, since I have gotten hold of a beta key. I'd like 5 BTC for it. First come, first served.

This key must register on the game's website by Friday 18 November at 19:00. When you register here you will receive an email a week before beta testing begins with instructions on how to download the client.

This rocks. I would have bid myself, but at that time I will vacate California.
5  Economy / Goods / Re: WTS TorrentLeech invite 3BTC each!!! EXTREMELY FAST SPEEDS! EVERYTHING AVAILABLE on: November 07, 2011, 11:58:39 PM
Scammer tag seems just around the corner. Torrents are for people that don't know any better.

Best solution is DDL. Torrents are slow. Torrents can get you found. Torrents need ratios for upload.

I personally use free services like megaupload and wupload Smiley

Don't waste your time with torrents. Even Usenet is much better than torrents.

I would think that the best solution differ from person to person. I would also think that I can max my line with a lot more content than you dream of getting trough DDL. Only what.cd has over 289.000 CD rips in full FLAC Lossless quality. Any of your DDL sites able to top that? Thought not :-)

edit: For the record, I have 24mb VDSL, so it's not the slowest line in the world either.

Let me first say that I live after "try before you buy" myself and have a few TB in ratio over several sites. But:

No fears of MPAA/RIAA/DICK LAWYERS there.

How do you know this? It seems to me that they could also buy an account and get in fairly easy.
7  Economy / Economics / Re: occupy george and parallel currency on: November 07, 2011, 04:23:04 PM
Interesting colour choice. I really don't care if the rich of the 21st century are richer than those of the 1960s, as long as the middle and lower class is also getting richer. The protesters should focus on things that promote the wealth polarisation: competition for employment, cost of education, tax burden on the lower classes, etc.

Focusing on the polarisation itself is wrong because the solution suggested is the good old egalitarian "kill the rich!". So a bunch of people are working their asses off and get rich, while you are standing around protesting of how poor you are ? Well, fuck you sir.

As it stands, this is simply red propaganda.

Hmm, what's wrong with a diagnosis. I for one, would not like my doctor to treat me, if he did not check what was wrong with me first. After that we can talk about probable causes and treatment options.

10  Economy / Goods / Re: Something a little Different - 100% Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup - For Sale on: November 03, 2011, 04:49:38 PM
Update 10/31/11  I have to discontinue this offer. Thanks much for your interest.

For Sale: Single Source 100% Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup

Hi. I buy this Maple Syrup locally and am curious to see if there is an interest amongst bitcoiners.  These Maple Syrups are all made here in Northwestern Wisconsin straight from the Sugar Maple trees.  It's the Pure stuff, no additives or blending. They taste great and would make cool "Bought With Bitcoins" gifts.

There are more Local Producers in this area that have been making Maple Syrup for years. I will be visiting them to check out their operations and taste their product.  It's a tough job but it's got to be done! I will be adding them as things progress.

I am selling at about cost and shipping as cheap as possible so it's a good deal for some Really Good Single Source 100% Pure Wisconsin Maple Syrup.

This also helps spread the word about Bitcoins here in the Northwestern Wisconsin Boonies.
(Folks here have NO CLUE what I am talking about when I mention bitcoins so it fun to explain.)

Please check out my website.  http://purewisconsinmaplesyrup.wordpress.com/
The website is a work in progress.  Questions and suggestions are welcome.

12 Oz. 100% Single Source Wisconsin Maple Syrup (Hemshrot’s)

1.75  BTC (today)        + shipping (by zip) (1.5 BTC or so)

There are more sizes and syrups available on the website.

I doubt they are warmer. As anyone accustomed to winter weather knows, mittens are warmer than gloves. Good luck with your sale anyway, looks like good value.
