hello yesterday i started my adventure on monero... all fine i guess... i installed the simplewallet simple miner and bitmonerod. runned bitmonerod thensimple walled and generated new wallet. then on simple miner i putted to mine to this pool http://monerominers.com/pool/as it offered a 100 monero bounty among the first miner to discover the block. we were 12 and we discovered the block after a while.... but my balance is still to 0 ... Ik heb zelf een pool opgezet op http://monerominers.com/. Het is nu nog erg rustig, maar het zou leuk zijn als er wat Nederlanders en Belgen op zouden gaan minen  En er is een beloning voor de mensen die meehelpen met het vinden van het eerste blok! zal vannacht eens wat minen  Top! Prijs gaat erg hard omhoog momenteel.. ik hoop dat het niet van korte duur is. |

The monerominers.com mining pool has just been updated to the latest version of the pool software. Mining is now supported on ports 3333 for slow CPU's, port 5555 for mid-range CPU's and port 7777 for fast CPU's. I also have a nice announcement to make: 100 MRO will be divided among the miners that contribute to finding the first block! So fire up your miners and start mining! For easy mining you can use BitKoot's GUI wallet to start pool mining. |

Please help me, I am mining on pool with cpuminer-multi. After start I got shares accepted, but after a couple of minutes I can't get any yay. Why? What is wrong?
pool difficulty goes up and it takes more time to find shares. If you let it mine it should be okay after a while. So it's ok if it takes 10 minutes and nothing found? What a pool is stable? I checked about 3 pools and all down. is up and stable, running latest pool code The same goes for monerominers.com, hasn't been down yet. I'll upgrade to the latest code in a minute. |

Another mining pool is up at http://monerominers.com/pool or http://46.249.39.82/pool for those with a slow dns It's a fast server based in Europe, so go right ahead and start mining To start mining: simpleminer --pool-addr=46.249.39.82:5555 --login=<wallet address> --pass <password> Payouts don't work yet, but will be done manually for now. Difficulty begint nu wel erg hoog te worden, heb al een tijdje niets meer gevonden... |

hoeveel blokken heb je al binnen gehaald? Ikzelf heb er in het begin 5 kunnen minen. Maar nu wacht ik al bijna een week op een 6de  binnen enkele dagen zouden er 2 pools moeten online gaan, dus dan kunnen we weer lekker minen Ik heb 6 blokken binnengehaald in 6 dagen met een hashrate van 44. Het gaat vrij constant, er komt eigenlijk elke dag een blok binnen. Mining pool zou inderdaad wel fijner zijn. |

Ik ben nu een kleine week aan het minen, gaat wel aardig. De enige bedreiging die ik zie is het botnet mining wat zo'n CPU-only coin blijkbaar nogal aantrekt. Ik ben benieuwd wat de toekomst van deze coin gaat brengen.
