I think there are various factors that influence about short and long term investment. One of them is that some people prefer to do research once in reading the whitepaper of a project and just follow the news of the development of the project (this is meant only to do a fundamental analysis). However, there are also some people who prefer to conduct research by reading the token graph (technical analysis). And there are also both. Everyone has their own style of taking profits from their investments. But I think if you only want profits in the short term it cannot be said to be investing, but it is trading.

My advice about your situation is don't spend too much time just waiting. If you feel the decision you have made is wrong, then you should think of ways to turn things around. Our whitepaper is currently being worked on. We are still early in the startup stages and are focusing on our MVP and Whitepaper right now. We know these are the two main components that determine the success of a startup, so we are making sure we take our time and produce these in a quality manner. That is why we don't have hard deadlines on our pre-sale and when our public sale will begin/stop. We just wanted to get the word out though for those to start following us as these will be released soon. Once they are released, we expect to see the ball rolling from there. Doesn't that mean your project isn't ready to be announced? I have no problem with a start date that has not been set. But what do you mean by the Pre-sale end dates that are still TBD? I mean does this not confuse investors? How long do investors have to wait until funds can be collected? Did you really wait for the funds to be collected until the softcap even though it took more than 3 months? |

I don't think ICO is dead yet. ICO can still be an alternative choice for projects that have a limited budget compared to holding IEO on several well-known exchanges. But the downside is that people or investors are no longer interested in ICO because most projects end up failing with a token price drop after listing on the market or many of the projects are ignored and the team runs away from responsibility. The authorities find it difficult to make regulations regarding ICO because it is very unpredictable, but we all hope that there will be regulations governing it so that projects are not careless in making ICO.
