1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [∞ YH] solo.ckpool.org 2% fee solo mining 260 blocks solved! on: December 31, 2021, 11:48:42 PM
Thanks, I'm actually using m-cpuminer, so I'll see what the switches are for that CLI to achieve the same result. Thanks!

I've had an ultra low power lottery miner running for several days now on ck pool. However, I  get page not found when trying to get worker info on it. Does that mean the miner is not actually doing any work? Its receiving work from the pool, and submitting shares, but I  just can't get any pool side stats to confirm.
Is your best share below 10k which is the start diff for this pool? If so, then you haven't really submitted an 'eligible' share yet and the pool can't calculate your stats.

Two ways you can fix this:
1) just let it run until it submits a share >10k. After a while the pool will see that you're a low hashrate miner and will automatically adjust the diff down for submitting shares. Just takes time.
2) use the suggest-diff argument like in this example for a gekko 2pac (25 GHz):
Code:
 ./cgminer -c cgminer.conf --gekko-2pac-freq 100 --suggest-diff 7

It lowers the starting diff and you should see your stats almost immediately because you tell the pool to lower the starting diff for submitting shares.

All the above is from memory so could be wrong but that was the problem for low hashrate miners in the past afaik.

Are there instructions for upgrading the Node to 22.0?

Also, I've sent several requests to support for an RMA# on a new unit I received that won't hash and have not received a response since providing the order#.

Thanks,

My full node stops running after 24 - 30 hours, like clockwork. Has anyone  experienced this or come up with a solution? I've changed both the SD card and the flash drive, reformated both the new drives, installed the newest OS... Nothing seems to fix it.

I  seem to have been able to fix this issue. I did two things:

1) Increased the size of the USB drive from 64gb to 256gb (still used a samsung EVO though)
2) Increased the size of the swap file from 370mb? to 1gb
     a) sudo swapoff -a.
     b) sudo dd if=/dev/zero bs=1M count=1024 of=/media/usb/swapfile
(this command took almost 30 minutes to complete with no indication on the screen what was going on, so be patient)
     c) sudo swapon -a

I've now been running the node for 12 hours, monitoring it with htop and the CPU and mem usage are both way down. I  was able to get past the 96.62% mark during the blockchain sync, which is where its been hanging up for me.

Hope this help someone else out.

Okay, this has been a game changer. Closing in on 48 hours of uptime and over 100,000 blocks synched and no hiccups, stalls or crashing. Highly recommend this increased swap file be incorporated into the latest softward image.

Are there any places that repair these
Hash boards?

I  just received a Full Package Apollo BTC. Upon initial boot in the web dashboard a notification popped up saying that an update was available, so I  clicked it and ended it did indeed update. It is downloading the blockchain for the node, but the miner does not work at all. I  can click start and it goes throught the "warmup" and the mining dashboard opens, but all the fields are empty and it doesn't mine. It does connect to the pool as the worker showed up in my sub-account, just no hashing. Quick fix or does it need to go back to futurebit for service?

Sounds like a bug in the 0.3.0 software. Now that you've updated, try shutting down the unit and do a full restart. See if it comes up with the stats then

I  just reflashed the SD card to the latest 0.3.1 software and no dice. Still won't load the miner or start hashing.

I  ordered a second s19 pro from Akminer and it arrived today. Again, no issues with the vendor. DHL was a bit of a pain in the ass, but not the vendor's fault.

They are Legit.

I  orderd a S19 Pro 110 from them last week and it arrived via DHL today. Ordered thru Telegram and paid with USDC. Joyson sent invoice via e-mail.

Can send screen shots if needed.
