1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Homelessness in USA Reaches a High on: January 09, 2025, 03:54:29 PM
This is an important part of our society and necessary to keep.
... Destroying the estate and BTW destroying international relations can only benefit the group of people who do not want a estate, usually the very rich that want to make the rules for them as they go.

I don't still understand what his strategy is when he now gets so openly aggresive when comes to international relationships, There is people on Twitter already talking about Trump somehow buying Greenland from Denmark and an hypothetical take-over against Panama and his canal.
Though, It is rather interesting how he is both threatening American and European countries with aggressive diplomacy (let us call it that way for now) and he has now mentioned anything on the Russian aggression against Ukraine. As if he was getting out his way to create chaos and disharmony among (not only the people of the USA) but also the allies of the country. It will obviously benefit Putin.

Lol, you guys see this?

2  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Your family disowns you over politics. on: January 09, 2025, 03:40:09 PM
Not a democrat problem, just a scumbag problem. Most of people would disown their family if they went all-in on democratic values as well. Both sides are trying to normalize some truly disgusting behavior and they are only doing it for power and political gain.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump will compete directly with Bitcoin on: September 22, 2024, 02:15:04 PM
His fan base is a few million people. If that is what mattered, the Ronaldo Coin would be ruling the world.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Still Economically Useless = Economist on: August 13, 2024, 12:04:07 AM
I do not expect a nobel prize-winning economist to say something like this. They will not know anything about bitcoin but prefer to start misinforming people and feeding them with wrong information.

Yeah, with all that fancy learnin book knowledge.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling Bitcoin vs. Selling Gold on: August 07, 2024, 09:28:02 PM
Just trade the GLD ETF.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: AI will put an end to work, says Elon Musk on: June 28, 2024, 10:23:33 PM
Repeating after Elon is like repeating after Donald Trump. Dont waste yourself.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Crypto survive? on: November 25, 2022, 12:48:16 AM
Of course "it" will survive. Most currencies will not, but the ecosystem will evolve and move on.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: November 20, 2022, 09:47:19 PM
Just my guess, but no jail time. However, we don't even know exactly what happened yet either so who knows.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What problem does Bitcoin solve? on: November 10, 2022, 12:53:47 PM
not very practical to use it right now
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Satoshi Needs to Reveal His Identity ? on: November 05, 2022, 01:00:16 AM
That was his real name, real person, someone even interviewed him and then bitcoin blew up, then he recanted... is my recollection of the story. Obviously that was the same. I think the idea that nobody knows who it is is sort of urban legend at this point. This sort of reminds me of a joke that Norm Macdonald did which was originally by George Miller..

So yeah, maybe it was a different Satoshi Nakamoto.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nigeria continuous banning of crypto on: October 29, 2022, 08:40:38 PM
Oh no! That's like 95% of the Cardano business plan lol. I used to follow that guy on Youtube but not anymore. He was learning too much about marketing from Trump and Elon and getting a bit annoying.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Two-edged sword for countries that banned Bitcoin on: October 29, 2022, 02:56:37 AM
The whole "freedom" aspect of bitcoin is just marketing nonsense. It should probably be banned and it won't bother me to take the loss on what I own.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is deflation considered to be an admirable feature of Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2022, 07:10:47 AM
Overweighted admiration in my opinion.
14  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you had to move from your nation to another nation, which would you choose? on: August 16, 2022, 01:36:00 AM
Japan seems pretty exotic compared to the US so Id have a go there for a year maybe
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is valuable? on: July 31, 2022, 06:47:13 AM
... because people think it is. Scarcity has nothing to do with it and I don't think the scarcity argument holds up over the fire regardless. All it takes to mint more coins than everyone thinks is community consensus and if you are looking at a 100 year time horizon and competition between cryptocurrencies, that is not out of the question.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto in Church. on: July 23, 2022, 03:29:09 PM
Call me crazy, but I have a wild suspicion that this "lesson" may have ended in a pitch of some kind. I have had several "lessons" myself.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 23, 2022, 07:25:41 AM
Coinbase had notorious customer service issues with serious ghosting from their support staff and closing of unsolved tickets. Avg wait time was over a month when I was dealing with this. For those that wound up in situations that needed help, they often got stuck. Hacking is part of it but I was more concerned about losing access and having nobody to deal with. Coinbase is probably safer than most wallets at this point as long as you dont get yourself locked out. Their vault feature seems pretty safe to me.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Impact of a US Digital Dollar on Crypto? on: March 21, 2022, 09:03:13 AM
It probably won't be as dramatic as anyone thinks. It's already a digital affair. Physical printing of paper money is a very small part of money creation in the US, most of it is done by someone going into a computer and changing a number.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot is the Real Ethereum killer? on: May 16, 2021, 08:19:11 PM
There are almost 500 projects being built but the list is really not impressive. It sounds just as unfinished as competitors and this one seems to be filling a niche that could easily be filled by others. Maybe there is something here but I assume that there is a reason that you can earn more staking here than you can elsewhere and it is not because this is the best investment idea.

20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what do you guys use bitcoin for? on: May 16, 2021, 08:03:36 PM
nothing, there are better solutions for payments and it has never been a good way to store value. I own some because I saw MACD indicators saying I should buy and I did well so I kept some.
