WHOAAAA!

It took us less than 10 hours for the last million....

With 20+ hours to go, will we reach the 21,000 BTC cap?

Over 5,000 BTC in the collection address  Shocked

What's the breakdown on events scheduled once ICO is over?

As specified in the ICONOMI whitepaper, ICN tokens will be issued 10 days after the ICO closes. The reason for this delay is that we must wait for fiat money transfers (confirmed with bank statements sent beforehand). Bank transfers take several days, and international wires up to a week.

What is wrong with your website?

I made an acc this morning.
Logged in from a different pc tonight and it tells me i have no acc with that email add.
It allowed me to make another acc on the same email add.

I do have 2 confirmation emails to the very same email add.

Very confused.
What if i fund you and you lose my acc again?

Hey there.
I am fairly certain I know what happened.
One time you created account on https://iconomi.net  and second time you created account in the ICO site: https://ico.iconomi.net ...
Since they are not same, two accounts...
To invest in ICO you only need the second one tho.

take care,
jaka

@ICONOMI : I just got an email from you about investing even more in the last 24 hours.

You said you accept "ETC" instead of "ETH".

Oops?

(And just to be really picky, like a fintech startup with millions of OPM should be, the other correct symbol to use here is "LSK", not "LISK")

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?defid=1134762&term=OPM

GUYS this is a typo! (mine Sad ).

WE ARE ACCEPTING BTC / ETH / LSK...      no ETC!

"We will cover all the costs of the VISA debit card (including issuing, shipping and membership costs) for the first year - it’s yours completely free!"

What are membership costs after the first year?

On the same level as any other VISA issued debit card. We will communicate details once we are closer to issuing the cards...

Great news:

DASH will be included in the portfolio of the first crypto investment fund ICONOMI.INDEX.
As a DASH ambassador I am happy to that DASH is recognized as one of the most serious cryptos.

If anyone is interested ICONOMI is still open for new investors... You can read more about ICONOMI and both investment funds here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1587736.0

hi there.

i discovered simplemining few days ago and gave it a try, since i've had stability problems mining with rx480 in windows (and since ethos still did not yet release support for rx480).

But... it looks like my rx480 gfx was not detected...

ideas?

cheers,

delete that picture, you showed to all of us your miner private key!!!

Thanks for warning, I am fully aware of what i did. But since i only ran miner once only, and it did not detect my rx480... its empty... Smiley

51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best efficiency settings for Radeon RX 480 on: July 12, 2016, 12:40:02 PM

I don't think it would matter, but I could be wrong. The only difference I think aftermarket cards has is just the heatsink/fans/cooling method (so better overclocking abilities). But with my underclock/undervolt settings, the reference cooler is already keeping it cool even in a hot garage style and I'm not trying to overclock.

I believe the reason why most people would want the aftermarket cards is just for better cooling and overclocking ability and overclocking=more power usage. So since my main goal is to reduce power usage and since I'm running on 110v, I can fit 2 rigs on 1 outlet without tripping the circuit breakers.

Our residential home has a 15amp circuit breaker, so if I overclock for maximum hashrate, it could run to around 1000 watts per rig. And if I place 2 rigs on 1 outlet, it would definitely trip the circuit breaker since it would be 2000+ watts.

that is the reason I buy cheap XFX R9 390 cards and under volt and under clock to get the best efficiency.

I heard that 390 is power hungry and is still using lots of power even when underlocked and undervolted (which many cards cannot even do? - is XFX an exception?  In ethos i did not find a way to undervolt my VTX3D 390...)... which settings do you use, and what is the power usage you are seeing per card/rig?

To remain on the rx480 topic... I managed to get down to 890W usage for a whole rig with 6 cards... getting 25MH per card, and my wattman settings are simple just -20% core clock (memory at 2000).
I tried boosting memory to 2250, where cards produce 27,5MH.... but this rises power usage for the whole rig to 1100W. This is 210W more (or 35W per card) which i think is too much (+ less stable, + have problems removing the heat)...

I would like to nominate Evan Duffield (bctuser eduffield), the DarkCoin developper for all his innovations.
Darkcoin offers complete financial privacy, and with InstantX transactions verified in <20 seconds.
Darkcoin is #2 most active user community after #bitcoin itself, and its capitalization is among top 3 altcoins, often spiking to equals the one of LTC.

Last week I used darkcoin for annonimization of my funds.

I started with exchanging bitcoins to darkcoins on bitfinex, then did a few runds of darksend, and then i exchanged drks back to bitcoin but used different exchange for that. Then I transferred bitcoins to my fresh bitcoin wallet. My funds are now completely annonymous, and will remain so, until i exit to fiat money (if at all).

If you wish to run a MASTERNODE in a safe way with local/remote configuration, and want to use your Windows PC as local wallet, then you might want to check out guide posted here:

Also, few rookie question regarding master nodes (MNs)...

1.
Are they enabled and necessary in production release - with current binaries?

2.
Can user with 1000 DRKs become a MN now on real network (not testnet)?

3.
Is there some advantage for user to do this now (before profit sharing to MNs - is this proper way to name this?)?

4.
Are MNs something that currently only works (because of recent problems/fork/debugging) on testnet?

If yes - and if user wants to assist development - do you connect to testnet and setup a MN there with real DRKs, or how does that work?

thanks for helping me understand,
cheers,
Wg

Can someone shed light on these questions?

Appreciated!

Hi guys

I am new in darkcoin world... Following this debate for some days now, but indeed, I do not know how to answer these questions from adaseb below...
So, I think it would be benefitial to all (especially newcomers), if we can answer them ... So, can you please help me find the answers for them, and I would encourage every answer to be backed with a fact (or link to fact)... This way, we can put some never-ending debates and speculation to an end.

Also, if I get help in producing quality answers, I will do a periodic follow up, putting together new facts... I believe that not a lot of users have time to read thru new 20+ pages of this thread every day, so I'll try to do a summary of vital stuff...

cheers,
Wg

1. What is the ROI on masternodes if there are 500 masternodes? 50% annual ROI in Drks.

2. Why is drk fundamentally more valuable than ltc? Drk offers decentralisation against ASICS + a decentralised privacy solution.

3. What gave ltc value versus btc in the first place? Ltc value increased primarily due to ASIC centralisation in Btc into large data mining centres, which increased the risk that Gov'ts could take over these data centres and co-opt the bitcoin protocol

4. Why is decentralised privacy via masternodes better than ring signatures? Because ring signatures produce highly bloated blockchains.

If you cannot answer those question, you do not know the value of what you are holding.

Answers above.

Thanks!

60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Options ? on: May 18, 2014, 09:51:13 AM
I would be interested in buying 1 CALL contract (covering 100 BTC) at DEC 31 2014 expiry with strike price $500.
Accepting offers.

Smiley And info on which platform we could reliably actualize this deal. I would imagine interested party would have to transfer his 100 btc to mutually agreed upon escrow person for the duration of the option.

I would like this to be US style option - meaning i can execute it anytime before expiry date.
