No, pool/website seems to be offline for me too.

If anyone wants to try out joblo's optimized miner, cpuminer-opt (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803) for windows 64-bit with hmq1725 support, I managed to build it after making a few source code changes and removing the hodl algorithm.  I have only tested it with a couple of sandybridge cpus and only with hmq1725 so it may be a bit buggy, but I thought I'd share it with our community.

If you want to be a test subject you can download it from here: https://github.com/ctgiant/cpuminer-opt/releases/download/v3.2.5/cpuminer-opt.zip

Doesn´t work with a X5660 -> Appcrash

New installed Server 2012 R2 with all updates.

Thanks for the info.  Are you trying to solo mine or pool mine?  Solomining seems to cause a core dump.

Solomining not tested yet. I tried to mine on suprnova´s pool.

Please be advised that you should not choose a poloniex address as your payout address. You do not have control of that address as you don´t hold its private key. Use a counterwallet address instead. For help with sorting out why you have not yet received any shards in your selected folder, please join the slack where you can get interactive help from other community members and the devs. From looking at your screenshot, I see you´re using the GUI. Please note that some fixes have not yet been applied to the current version of the GUI. Latest fixes are already available on the CLI. So you can either wait for the next GUI version to come out or go to the slack athttps://storj.io/community.html and get help to install the CLI.

Thnx man! i've tried to join the community by entering my email on the link that you provided, but after submiting my email and clicking the link which pops out after email submit i get blank page http://prntscr.com/b7sgex

Please try again now. Last night I was also experiencing some troubles accessing the signup page. I hope it was an intermittent failure. If not please report back and I will bring it to the attention of the devs.

PS I am not a man but thanks anyway for participating in Storj testing!  Grin

https://storj.io/community.html

Doesn´t work for me too.

Tested on two machines. Looks exactly like the screenshot posted by metropolit.

Please stand by, apparently we have hit the cap on number of users on slack (above 5000 users now) so hopefully we can get that cap lifted asap.

No problem : )

Thanks for your efforts!
You may now join again. We will be removing all inactive users over the next few days.

You're invited to join the Storj Community Slack team

Registration worked.
Thank you.

No, I mean something that actually makes sense. Something that is actually able to make a real amount of coin, and not burn up your phone. But you know, to each their own. lol.

edit - No offense at all meant by this, but mining anything like traditional PoW on a phone just reeks of bad idea to me. This is simply my opinion.

I expected an answer like this and curious what will come.

Thanks!

Network hashrate is more than 700 kH/s... What happens?

It looks like some coder has made a GPU miner for this algo and that has bumped up the network hashrate to make CPU mining uncompetitive.

That is what normally happens, with most CPU algos in the long run.

Or many new people are mining HODL.
Could be...

Just donated 10,000 burst, hope I did it right and it helps!

Yes, it helps! Thanks for all the contributions.

We've around 0.3 BTC now. I guess I'll wait until we get in reach of the Exclusive option of 0.5 BTC.

Thanks guys  Cheesy

Some BURST I will donate are on an exchange. I can send them direct to this address, right?

Both listed Block Explorers on the first page seems to be dead.

burstcoin.biz
block.burstcoin.info

Or is it just my connection again?

block.burstcoin.info is dead; burstcoin.biz is alive most of the time but goes down a few hours every day.

According to the Team, we'll get a brand new one shortly.

Yes, a new Block Explorer. I remember... : )

Thanks!

But if block.burstcoin.info is dead, should it not be removed?
Links to services that doesn´t exist anymore are useless.

Is there any way to start solo mining with the wallet with command line?  Smiley

Yes, try:

-gen=1 -genproclimit=x -minermemory=x

Thanks, but I mean a guide (I think t was on burstcoin.de) that explained how to mine direct on a NAS.

So that you can use your NAS (mining) without using another machine.

You're correct. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731923.msg10639156#msg10639156

Perhaps ask boba or kurairaito. However, it's not very hard to do, given you run some kind of linux distro. I used to do it on a qnap with dcct's tools, I'd just follow his instruction and the software are great.

Mapping the NAS was incredibly slow so this was a nice solution for me.

Thank you!

I´ll see if I can get it from one of these guys.

As you say, a mapped drive to the NAS is very slow (~6MB/s for me).

"How to mine burst on your NAS"

There was a tutorial, but I can´t find it anymore.

Does anyone know where to find it?

Thanks!

For mining with several machines to one wallet, would this work?

hodlcoin.conf

Code:
server=1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcallowip=e.g 192.*
rpcport=8332

Start miner with:

Code:
hodlminer.exe -a hodl -o http://IP-of-the-machin-ewhich-is-running-the-wallet:8332 -u username -p password

no, wildcard identifiers like * aren't supported in the conf file anymore. You'll need to use proper netmask identifiers instead.

see https://bitcoin.org/en/release/v0.10.0#rpc-access-control-changes for details.

192.168.1.*      would be 192.168.1.0/24
192.168.0.*      would be 192.168.0.0/24
192.168.*         would be 192.168.0.0/16
192.*                would be 192.0.0.0/8

note that the 4th option isn't very safe as 192.* (192.0.0.0/8) isn't reserved for private IP address only and would allow anyone with a public IP in that range to connect to your RPC server.

Good to know!

Thank you Fuzzbawls

Set this up with a few machines.

Works great!

Guys like I was saying the GBT in these miners are not set up for HOdl, like Wolf has said the templet is not right for HOdl.. please if anyone finds a block like this let me know.. bc while your pushing to the wallet the templet your working off is not set up proper.. So I'm affriad your all just spinning your wheels

I will report. Is just a test.

Thanks for your work!
