I like the fact that he hasn't even acknowledged my post, or my PM. I increase my offer to paying with BTC ($120 worth), but still only after I receive it. If you don't accept this from someone with my level of trust, it would lead other people to think you probably aren't the most trustworthy individual to put it lightly. I absolutely refuse to trade in PM (Any PM's I do send will be crossposted in this thread), because I feel this could lead to different people paying for the same piece of equipment. Edit: Something I'll leave here for other people. He's asking for half payment up front for xbox one he's selling in an auction. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=567145.msg6189852#msg6189852 I'm already giving him the benefit of the doubt by offering to pay him MORE than what he asked for and using my trust ratings to get some leverage in the situation. We'll see how it goes. He hasn't replied to any of my offers though.

I have a lightly used Asus 280x graphics card. I haven't had it long. I never really got into mining much. I keep my computer in my room so the computer's noise bothered me. I just mostly used it for playing league of legends.
I still have all the original packaging for it.
Like the title says, first to PM me about it, gets it. Im asking $100 in btc (btc-e prices).
I'm not sure the going rate on a lightly used 280x, but I'm assuming I'm on the low side.
Hi. I'll pay $120, shipped to Rhinelander, WI 54501, USA, but only after I receive it, via my ~10 year old verified paypal account. Check my ratings, and my previous trades threads. I've been here for a long time and am true to my word. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=33107http://bitcoin-otc.com/viewratingdetail.php?nick=ssatenethhttp://www.ebay.com/usr/ssatenethhttps://localbitcoins.com/accounts/profile/Ssateneth/Some threads where I sold/bought stuff. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=219185.0;allhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=370907.0;allhttps://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=142241.0

Lots of people are dumping their AMD cards now. Used R9 280X can be had for as low as $206 + shipping on ebay which, after ebay and paypal take their cut, is about $177. Great deals for gamers, but sucks for the miners getting out of the mining scene due to specialized hardware coming out in the wild and hurting profitability.

Thanks for the vouch man. I kinda doubt the OP will be back though, since the price was fishy. I'll still take it if he comes back, but I don't think he will. If you feel comfortable enough to trust me, through me a trust rating. I got my first angry scammer neg trust rating on my account today. I feel so proud

Ok so if the gpu doesnot have external power molex it takes power only from the sata connector? So if I put 6 750 ti that draw 38w each from the sata connector the psu will fail even if it is 700w cause the gpus will only use the sata line and you can't provide 250 w from this line ? Am I right or not?
You need to connect the PCI-E power plugs to the video card in addition to the power plug on the riser PCB (floppy/molex/sata/whatever it is). It is required. Most of the power will be pulled from the PCI-E power plugs. There are certain parts on the video card that need power from the PCI-E slot though (some 12v, some 3.3v which is taken from the 5v line and down-converted to 3.3v on the riser board). The power draw should not typically pull more than 75 watts; it will likely pull much less is most occasions, or maybe more, depending on what you are doing with your video card. Your best bet is use a multimeter to determine exactly how much power is being pulled through it. But there is no way 250 watts is being pulled throug hit, because thats what the PCI-E power plugs are for.

I offer $250 for 1x 280X shipped to my paypal verified address in zip code 54501, USA. I do not intend to mine on it. I intend to game on it (OMG, who'd have thought of gaming cards being used to game? WTF?!?!1)
You might think this is a lowball, but everyone knows equipment that has been mined on has their lifespan hugely cut, and are often plagued with fans failing earlier than normal, artifacting/crashes in games (or worse), capacitors more likely to blow up, etc.

It is not a scam. Here is the proof. If you ordered with surface mail (You probably did), they do exist in the wild, and yes they are getting delivered. Well, well, well, look what finally showed up. Looks like there might finally be some movement guys. My black friday order finally came (east coast USA). The dates on the labels match up. Fluffy, send me a PM and let me know what your plan is for getting this back to your distributor.

Will give a bump for the excellent quality that is the Rosewill Lightning series. I've used these in the past when GPU mining, and it even survived 6 x radeon 7970 GPUs pulling an amazing 1411 watts at the wall without breaking a sweat. The OEM is Superflower (based in China I think?), which if you done your research, is one of the best OEMs out there, rivaling that of seasonic and corsair. It has 8 PCI-E 6+2 plugs, 2x 8 pin CPU power plugs, and a ton of molex and sata.
