1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: August 04, 2020, 09:51:42 PM
You are right. That is why we have to use decentralized wallets. Advantages of decentralized wallets over centralized ones is the security which it posses. The Decentralized wallets does not depend on any third party services. The entire control of the wallet remains in the hands of the users.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What exactly does a good project needs. on: August 04, 2020, 03:28:57 PM
Here are some qualities a good project has :

- Projects that aim to solve a real world problem
- Projects which can realistically solve that problem
- Projects that are proven to not be scams
- Projects that have a good and active (GITHUB) team that can actually deliver on those promises
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware; Do not Fall for Phishing Sites, Do Not Be a Victim of Scams on: August 03, 2020, 08:40:44 PM
How not to fall for phishing scams:

- Always carefully check all the links. Do not click on links from the messages from Internet services — instead, manually enter the address of the desired service in the address bar of your browser.

- Never reveal your private key.

- Use antivirus which has special protection against phishing.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin? on: August 03, 2020, 09:43:42 AM
I think you should keep discounted tokens in the hope of their growth in the future. No one knows what can happen and quite possibly these tokens will sometime profits in the future.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens??? on: August 02, 2020, 11:10:39 PM
There is always a risk in an investment .But it is more risky when the project is new. Older projects have more reputation & been there for a long time. Best thing you can do is your own research about the new coin. Specially look at what they have achieved so far & the team.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All hope is lost?? on: August 02, 2020, 03:09:34 PM
I can give you few tips which gonna help you to select your next crypto investment. Look in to these things. Use cases that show scalablity. Easy ideas to implement and also pie in the sky ideas. A good team. Start checking out who the founders and developers have worked with before in the academic and block-chain world. Love from VC's isn't as important as how they are regarded in the land of cryptography.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: August 01, 2020, 10:36:08 PM
There is nothing about the process that hinders you from doing both, especially given long term doesn't consume that much time relative to the holding period(s)
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello everyone! Do you still have confidence in altcoin? on: July 28, 2020, 02:45:35 PM
Yeah I think so. There are lot of signs that another bull run is coming soon. Also most people don't know about crypto currency yet. There is lot of space to grow for alts.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty alone is not enough on: July 28, 2020, 09:48:57 AM
True. The project can not completely depend on the bounty campaign even though it is really effective. With social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram they can run good promotion with more details on what their project is all about and even add videos that summarizes everything.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from centralized wallets on: July 27, 2020, 01:07:39 PM
Exchange wallets & online wallets are not safe. There is always a risk when you keep your funds at there. You should use a hardware wallet. It's the best way to keep your funds safe.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY DOES BOUNTY PROJECTS TAKE TIME TO ENTER A MARKET on: July 26, 2020, 10:29:17 PM
Lot of them does not know how to make sure that their promises are on track. There could be some times in which the project takes too long for it to reach the market but some time there could be some sort of delaying in giving to bounty hunters.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: July 25, 2020, 11:05:10 PM
Only one coin & it's Ethereum. DeFi will take off.Even keeping ETH for DAI tokens will be worth it in the long run. It's already pumping at the moment I am writing this.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: July 25, 2020, 10:44:46 AM
To be honest I am here for profits. I also love this adventure because everyday I will get a new experience in trading. But profits are my major target.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are only rich on spreadsheets on: July 24, 2020, 08:27:02 PM
Yeah. Most projects can promise good rewards only in words, but it doesn't come to payments. This is of course very sad but it is true.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New investors are too impatience on: July 21, 2020, 10:18:10 PM
They invest and want a huge profit in such a short time. But when they see the price going down, those new impatient investors begin to spread negativity about those projects.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming on the blockchain - What do you think? on: July 21, 2020, 06:25:44 PM
Microtransactions, rewarded game play, and optional ads are a natural combo. The game data does not need to be stored on the blockchain to benefit from the advantages of crypto.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies are safer with top altcoins on: July 21, 2020, 07:18:21 AM
I think Bitcoin and Eth are good options for newbies to get start. They are stable more than other coins & they are not scams.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: July 19, 2020, 09:24:03 PM
It is a totally different game than hodling coins. Day traders often use technical indicators by themselves or apply it with news or fundamental analysis. DYOR before diving into trading on daily basis. No easy task
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest trading strategy on: July 19, 2020, 04:40:27 PM
Key points to note when it comes to trading:

Supply is less important than people think.

What can a asset do differently.

Candle charts are historic and don't prove whats going to happen next.

Don't take news too seriously as markets don't care.

Read roadmaps
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: July 17, 2020, 07:44:16 PM
At the end of the day tether will still exists and remain at $1 even if it is a fractional reserve rather than 1:1 . Heck the money in our banks are fractional reserves too but that does not stop everyone from mass panicking and withdrawing.
