Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SEGVEC CONNED ME OUT OF 14.09 BTC

Escrow via tomato is fine by me. When February rolls around and you get your funds, I want a full apology released to the general public. Good night. You made the deal, you are responsible. The fact an alleged partner ran with the funds is irrelevant. You then make the guy wait months for payment if you end up paying at all and expect a public apology You also leave SellingHBOGo2 negative feedback I think most normal people would agree with my opinion of you segvec. Absolutely! He is responsible, he could have at least explained within a POSITIVE comment about the situation and took responsibility. He said he made the deal, but didn't take the BITCOINS. Yeah right... Some misterious Bulgarian came along with his magic powers. And who would give someone else's bitcoin address. I mean Skype name "Albert Gonzalez"... Just wikipedia this name. Since the segvec real name is not Albert Gonzalez, he's a fan of that guy and is probably a con-artist himself.

OP - you should never trust ANYONE on this forum. No matter the trust he/she has. Obviously it doesn't matter. And skype name "Albert Gonzalez" REALLY? No one paid attention to that? Albert Gonzalez was the biggest credit card thief in history. This is an impersonator.
OK administrators should really do something about this segvec guy. So if someone new asks for pre-payment - he is deemed a scammer, but someone who obviously took 15Bitcoins, admits to it, and gives ridiculous explanations that make no sense, are still "respected" in this community?
Dont you think you should decrease his trust rating? Or is he a scammer when he tries to scam "a reputable" member only, not when he actually scams someone?
There is difference between "TRIES to scam" and "HAS scammed".

I wouldn't recommend either bank transfer or money order. Both are extremely dangerous for the buyer. If you're going to transfer money through the bank better use cryptsy. So far they are honest compared to other exchanges that got "hacked".

Well he is member, you newbie i not think that he is the scammer here
Well I'm registered in May, just didn't use the account too much. Have other tasks during the day. Now with the holidays approaching I have more free time. Doesn't make me a scammer. And he asks me to send him money first. Then in the matter of a few minutes sends 2 messages, one of which - full of profanities. you also got negative rating and you scammer enjoy as below https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=893593.new#newfuck off mother fucker go back to your mother ass where from you coming in this world for scamming people just go to your local street and start begging there fuck off

But his next message was even better! you also got negative rating and you scammer enjoy as below https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=893593.new#newfuck off mother fucker go back to your mother ass where from you coming in this world for scamming people just go to your local street and start begging there fuck off I did not beg anything from you. You asked for me to send you money first. And I bet you're from Africa originally. So stop whining like a biatch. A signal of scammer is someone who starts bitchin' after asking for upfront payment. I just said that if you want to deal at your price in PM which is really hard do cash out, I will not send you money first. I will use cryptsy. Thanks african prince.

Your rate is 315$/BTC so for 2.5@315 - 787.5 I don't have a localbitcoins account. I have an account in Cryptsy. I'd do PM if you send first, otherwise I'd just convert then in Cryptsy and pay those insane banking fees. It'd be roughly the same. No pun intended. Thanks for your reply. LOL man I asked if you can send first even 50 or 20 or 10 usd first??? if not then how ever I can send you first??? and you totally ignored my question about use escrow??? we can use escrow middleman for our deal like topearn on emf forum or here danny ok? and never tell how much so called reputation you got its all can be fake etc as lot of dollars involved here even you are president of USA then still I will never send you first any money and we must use escrow for deal so escrow ok or not?

No comment. Asks for payment first, then opens scam alerts. What a douche.

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is x20 leverage?
|
on: December 14, 2014, 06:31:10 PM
|
Leverage x20 means that you can trade with 20times more money than you invested, but the risk is 20 times bigger. However, they don't give you 20 times more money, its automatic. You just use their money, and pay comission. Their money stays the same, no matter if your position wins or loses. You keep just profits/losses limited to your investment (open orders).

OK. So one "investor" invests ~193 times more than the projected "daily income". Basically he needs 6.5 months to break even, and what's his interest in this "risk with no reward" deal? Where do the 13.5BTC go? I don't get it. I mean thats roughly 4,000$. I bet if you go out and ask 1000 people (each) if they will give you 4,000$ for a daily return of 24$ not knowing where the principal goes, all of them will reject your offer.

Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] 5 to 8 BTC with CC or PayPal

CC is credit card, right? I dont think you can buy bitcoins with credit card. Too expensive. Paypal is a big no no. If you accept PM, SEPA, Skrill you might find someone. And 5 - 8 BTC is an impossible deal without escrow.
