Approaching 48 hours, admin where are you?

Any issue with the site for anyone? I'm stuck at the connecting to server... message

Seems like something isn't right with diff adjustment, just 4 blocks were found over the last 24 hours

Still working on frontend for new pool interface, but when it's ready in a few days, Unitus will be on it as our first merged mined coin.
If any cpu miners would like to help test our merged mining stratum implementation please send me a pm!

Merge mining on the X11 Algo does not seem to work properly for me, 6 out of 10 blocks are "rejected" with a strange error ReadCompactSize() : size too large Maybe the Dev has an idea ? What does the daemons debug log say? I've noticed it limits the number of consecutive blocks per algo, got an error too many blocks from same algo during some of my tests.

I think the pre-mine will be used to make the android and linux wallet its in the OP
I saw that, however the premine is 70,000 coins. The bounties in the op are less than 500 coins in total, so just looking for additional details on how the remaining 69,500 coins will be spent

Can you post details about what the premine will be used for?

Hi all, Just wanted to announce a new Paycoin pool at: XPY.ALTPOOLER.COM0.1 block finder bonus Stratum ports are listed on the left side of the pool, but here they are as well: 3600 - DIFF(4,096 to 65,536) 3601 - DIFF(1,024 to 16,384) 3602 - DIFF(2,048 to 32,768) 3603 - DIFF(8,192 to 131,072) 3604 - DIFF(64 to 1,024) Cheers, altpooler

Best I've been able to get with a radeon 7970 is between 1,500,000 - 1,700,000 PPS with the following settings: -g -j 5 -n 4 -w 1000 -i 50000
The flags used above are explained below:
Enable GPU mining: -g
Stats interval (in the settings above, I have stats printing every 5 seconds): -j
Number of tests per gap per gpu run: -n
Number of primes for sieving: -i
Tried many different values for the -n and -i flags and actually had it around 2,000,000 PPS, but the test/s kept going to 0. I preferred stability so I adjusted the settings to lower the PPS and keep tests/s high.
A few other settings that may have an effect on PPS, just for some quick reference. These can all be seen by running the help command ./gapminer -h: --work-items (gpu work items - default: 2048) --queue-size (gpu waiting queue size - note: memory intensive) --sieve-size (prime sieve size) --shift (the adder shift)

Improved GPU-Miner (experimental):
Also the 10 and 15 gaps per hour are replaced with tests per second, which are the number of primality tests calculated per second.
I'm getting some good results, really nice work. 1,350,000 PPS on Radeon 7970. Strange this is, I'm getting 1,750,000 on a lower end GPU (Radeon 7850). I have 0/0 tests/s on the 7850 though. Is that a bad thing?

I noticed something interesting today and wanted to see if anyone else has had the same experience.
On my i7 cpu I've been using dcct's miner using 7 of its 8 threads. Around 24 hours ago I had to utilize this machine for other work (non cup intensive work) so I set the miner to use only 3 of the 8 threads. I forgot to change it back to 7 before bed but when I woke up I was happy with the results so I let it go another 12 hours.
Now, around 24 hours later, my rate of finding blocks is around 1 for every 200. Normally with 7 threads I was getting around 1 block for every 600.
Using 3 threads I'm at around 490k pps. With 7 threads I'm at around 740k pps.
Going to let it run like this for another few days and will see if it keeps up as the sample size is too small to make a conclusion at this point.
Anyone else have this experience using a lower thread setting?

Radeon 7970 getting 320,000 PPS with the gpu miner

Nice job nonce-pool

True Doesn't change the fact that ~2700 blocks were mined within 8 minutes after source was released.
