Hello good people,
I used to quite a bit in the early days of Bitcoin and there is a question that has been bothering me for a while.
Do any of remember the first pool that allowed you to mine bitcoin and namecoin at the same time?
I remember you were able to merge mine both coins during a certain period, but for the life of me I can't remember the process or the pool.
This would be during the days GPU mining just started.
If any of you remember this please let me know, it has been annoying me for a while.

It's healthy for people to want to talk about it, and some people probably didn't like him. But if you just want to bitch without reason, I agree to do it in another thread. I'm interested in learning more about his incident, since I was the last person to talk with him here, and I know stress kills. (Some people hope for that!) I doubt my insignificance mattered much to him, but I find myself wondering if maybe he had just lost someone due to covid-19 and his body just said " that's enough for me". Our brains cannot adjust for the amount of stress everyone is facing at the same time. Best thing we can do to preserve his memory Eddie, is to not feed the flames; ignore these idiots.  And maybe let's push OG/Theymos to spend a little of the donated millions on stress reduction initiatives? We have no reason to believe it was sars-cov-2 related, TEC already had a history of high bp and around 3 years back he had a stroke. So more likely than not it is linked to that. We can't fully discard it too, but knowing him and the extent of care he took with such things I highly doubt he ever got infected. Let's just say I would be very surprised if it was the case, but we certainly can't discard it. I think Vod was saying that TS had lost a loved one to Covid, and had died from the stress related to losing his loved one. My bad, as you can imagine seeing some messages here about someone I held so dear is kind of messing up with my head... TEC was extremely headstrong and had very defined guidelines of what he considered right and wrong, sometimes to a fault; but even with all his faults he was a wonderful human being at heart, wanted to help his friends and for the world to be a better, truer place to everyone. So much so he helped create many tools for that, stuff most people can't even imagine. For the people who didn't meet him, in 2015 I moved to Norway, trying for a better life and to get my mother a better health treatment, he loaned me money at zero interest with a 'pay me when you can clause' attached to it, because he knew I wanted something better for myself and for my family. This was who TEC was, this is who we lost. Seeing people who do not even know what they are talking about, or who he even was is just soiling his name for the sake of saying something bad about someone who can't even defend himself anymore, and that is sad to a point that I can't even explain properly. The world is a worst place without him. |

I was a personal friend of Tec's, and unfortunately I have to tell you all that Mud's post is correct.
All one has to do to verify that fact is to check his other medias with the same nickname, they all stop at the same time, including steam, where he was active daily buying and selling games.
Unfortunately our friend died too young from what is believed to be a fulminant stroke, he was recently making several adjustments to his life so he could be healthier, but unfortunately that wasn't enough.
I am surprised by the extremely bad atittude from the community to someone giving news that are indeed true from a very private person, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
Tec was my friend, and I miss him.

I completely agree with what you guys said, I damaged my own trust, and that is my fault, not anyone elses.
It was my fault for believing the guy saying he wanted to do good business.
This account will NEVER be in control of anyone else besides me from now on, I too have learned my lesson from this.
I just want to clear out the air and let everyone know that I had messages on the entire time, and I checked them right after I got home and I saw TECSHARE's message. So I was completely aware of what was happening.

So, this happen a couple days ago.
This user on facebook called InDa Moon came talking to me saying he wanted to buy my forum account.
Here is what happen next.
Forum user Verification (InDa Moon) offered me 200 usd in bitcoins for access to my forum account, with another 200 usd in a week. He also offered me 2% of every trade he did just for being able to deal in the 'higher tiers', since I've been on this forum for the longest time.
I accepted his offer, with only one request "Don't ask for any loans.", he accepted on the spot.
I gave him access to the forum account.
Got the 200 usd in btc.
Not 12 hours later I get a message from my good friend TECSHARE.
"Dude, are you online on the forums?"
"No, what's up?"
"I just received a 9k usd loan request from your account."
You guys can imagined what happen next. I went to confront user Verification about it. Not only he said I had nothing to do with the account, he actually ASKED FOR MY DOCUMENTS for the loan.
I immediately locked him out of the account.
Verification has a friend called shipitbuddy, who defended him left and right even knowing his friend was completely wrong. He even said he was sorry, than went back on his word.
Just a heads up to everyone on the forums.
